My problem is, my phone running 4.4.4 ( Mahdi Rom) *latest build* but i think there is a bug. It will sometimes force close "com.android.phone" and 1 more when some people call me that cannot hear anything, its like my phone blocking them. But i cant call people. I tried looking at my blacklisted number from setting - call setting and i press "blacklisted number" on the stop it went out to homescreen and pop out said " Setting has stopped"
Anyone please help me. Appreciate your times.

To see if it really is a bug, a test would be to create a nandroid backup, copy the backup to your computer, flash back to stock or another ROM and see what happens.

hey , forgive me for my bad english..
i have the thc hd2 , when im sending a message to a contact i dont see it inside the message thread or its at the beggining of the message thread.
second when im deleting a message if im recive a msg from the contact (the contact tha im not having any message now) the old message apeare again :S
third: when im on msg menu my hde freezes or takes A LOT of time to go on today screen..
any idea??

Now, I have installed Team Blue Droid on my HTC HD2. Everythink works fine, but i can't send or receive any text message. Maybe i'm stupid, but i can't even edit any message, when i tap "+" on messages widget, is no reaction... Nothing happend.
Would somebody help me with any solution for this problem?

Sorry if this is a bit patronising, but are you by any chance on airplane mode?
no, i'm not, i can make a call, but i can't even find some text editor, when I tap "+" on the messages widget, there is no reaction...
I decided to re-flash ROM, and now Droid loop on the startup animation... and I wait some one hour and no reaction...
I try reflash twice and is still the same situation...
I have newest CWR (5.0.2.6) than in instructions(4.0.1.4) and maybe it is the reason...

Check in aps do You have any sms/mms apk, You can also try to download handcent sms or go sms from market and try if it helps.

I don't have any sms/mms apk, but I already changed ROM, now I have some Froyo modification, everythig is working, but sometimes when I power on Leo, ROM just hang or reloop on starting animation, then I must take off battery, put it again and wait couple of minutes, and power on Leo. then everything work excellent. I don't know why, but i can live with this. However, when somebody have any solution for this problem, then please, tell me that.

You can try to reflash the rom, beggining with task 29. Remember to check what sizes of partitions your rom requires to make them. What rom have you chosen?
For the previous problem I think that you were missing apk for messages as I mentioned that was why you couldn't send or receive any sms/mms

I'm getting random reboots when charging and constant reboots when on the phone, some cases the phone turns off.
I've tried 1.1 and 1.2 both as bad as each other, tried clean install with complete wipes.

For the call side of things I've tried from both a synced Google contact and a manual dial unsaved one but still restarts or turns off.
Also on shazam it says the microphone is in use all the time so doesn't work.
Ive had to revert back to Echo rom V9, hopefully the issues on the new kitkat will be sorted soon

I posted the question in the Q & A thread but I fear my question got lost in between the many that are asked.
I own a rooted S4 from Rogers Canada, which used to be on Alpha Infamous rom, an old version like the 5.0 from at least 6 months ago. Everything runned fine until recently. The phone started giving me some trouble. After missing a phone call while I didn't had the phone on me, the screen stayed on showing missed call until I happened to see the phone and pressing power to close it. The same started happening with message at about the same time.
Since I thought I might have installed a dumb apk on gplay that messed something in the settings, I went to get a new Rom. Alpha having no development for a long time, I thought I'd try something else.
I have tried both omega v25 and [23/03][4.4.2][XXUFNBH]< Echoe v18 > [07/02][4.3][NA4]< Echoe v12.1 "The Final Bean">, the latest which I run at the moment. Both gave me the same trouble with the screen staying powered after missing a msg or a phone call.
Since I don't know how to fix it, I was wondering if anyone could help me out ?
I'm no pro at rooting/flashing but I did the wipe dalvik, cache and everything before flashing both of the new rom. I didn't update the bootloader as I didn't remember clearly how or if it was necessary but the rom in general runs great so I figured out it was ok this way. The only trouble I have is with the screen as previously stated. I didn't flashed the modem either as I seem to have great download speed (without testing, simply feeling it).
So as of now, I'm running Echoe V18 with most of the bloatware disabled in aroma installer.
What can I do to fix this? I've tried googling but nothing close to my trouble came as result. Neither could I find an answer here, there's so many result I might have simply missed it.

I've seen this mentioned in other places before, other threads and in the r/motox subreddit, about how the open GAPPS package apparently flashes the Google Dialer over the stock one, and it doesn't work with the Pure? Which is what causes the reboots whenever I try to make a call or, presumably, get a call, which until now I chalked up to random reboots in CM13.
So I've seen a bunch of posts about it, but none that explain how to actually fix it? Am I doing something wrong from the start?
Bonus question, I've been having radio problems on almost every AOSP rom I flash, either Wifi doesn't work upon booting and it persists in other ROMS or cell service is out (even though LTE data works fine). Is the radio (which I assume is the same as the "modem") included in each ROM package and is replaced every time you flash a new one, or does it persist in some system directory cross-firmware?
There are so many posts on how to fix I'm not sure how you could miss them. Set as default or uninstall.

Set what as default? Or uninstall what? When I look in the apps list all I see is "phone". Nothing under the name google dialer or anything. It's just confusing, I didn't have this problem on other phones.
Sorry for the double post but I figured instead of making another thread I'll continue asking here, I'm STILL having cell issues, no matter what ROM I flash, stock or AOSP, or any of the radios I can find around the forums, whether it be with the February security update or not, I'm still not getting a connection. In fact once I flashed a new modem, I went from not being able to send texts etc. but able to get LTE data, to getting no connection at all. I'm totally lost, this is the second time it's happened I have no idea what to do. Happens in every single rom.
Last time it was fixed once I flashed from stock (which I had in turn flashed to try to get rid of the problem) to CM13 I think. But it was totally random, I have a feeling it didn't even have anything to do with the ROM itself...

Thanks, I honestly dunno why I couldn't find that before. At first I wasn't even aware it was actually called the "google dialer" so I was just googling "phone app reboots after flash/root/etc" and obviously it wasn't turning up many results. But the stock rom rooted debloated thread had the instructions at the bottom, now I know. Whoops. Like I said, just really confusing coming from other phones where everything mostly just worked....
The baseband is still perplexing me though, in the bootloader under baseband it says <not found>. I'm keeping on trying to flash different stock roms to see if I get lucky.
EDIT: so I think flashing the modem at the SAME TIME as a new ROM might be the key? I think I saw something about that on some random obscure post and tried it out and bam, it worked like a charm. Anyway hopefully that works again when I flash to something new
