Just got myself a galaxy s5 and rooted but can't figure out why my device storage is so full. I've checked the files but can't see where all the usage is. I only have about 6gb left from the 12gb!

Apologies if this could of been posted elsewhere but anyway.. I have a weird issue with my galaxy s4. I've been on stock, echoe ROM, and now cm12 and all have the same strange issue. According to disk usage a directory called system data is using over 3.5gb of internal storage. This wouldn't be a problem if it stayed that way, however every few hours my remaining 3gb internal that I have left after installing all my apps, goes down and down and eventually I get a "system storage low" message. Even overnight when the phone isn't even in use. Could anyone shed light as to what's eating my storage?

I folks,
I had a friend drop off his phone for me to look at. Trying to install apps always said Insufficient Space. When he dropped it off I knew rate away it was a knock/off or clone due to the screen and performance. So when checked this storage ( After a factor reset that he done ) the phone says 14.98 GB Storage and 0.91 MB available. Hooking up the Data cable and enabling USB Mass Storage, The storage only shows 1.79 GB.
I am certain that the storage is in fact 2 GB, But wanted to check her if anyone seen this as the OS is showing the 14.98 GB.

Guys recently my phone show me i have not enough storage.. My storage is 64gb and im sure i have not completely use all my storage... For your reference i have attached. Diskusage screen shot.. In that there is 20gb of system data is it posible??

Have a problem with my 3 months old Samsung galaxy s7 edge. Recently I got plenty "internal memory it's almost full" message. Problem is, I checked all my files in the internal memory, and they are 3.71 GB. The total space in the phone is 32 GB. why am I getting those error messages?
I already spoke with the technical support of Samsung, and all they could tell me, was to restart the phone. Which I did, and as expected, it had no effect.
So my phone started complaining about low storage space, and I checked AppMgr III, found a few I hadn't moved yet. Moved them over and...no change.
I checked in Settings and the apps all claim they're on external storage. Every app that I put on external storage says it's on external storage. Both the Storage settings screen and DiskUsage, however, say they are all on internal storage.
I have a 64gb SD card which only has 3gb of pictures on it, no apps. So uh...why is my phone claiming all these apps are on "external storage" when they're not, and how can I fix it? I am not rooted, but didn't think I needed to be...
