My property, bought and paid for by me. I demand full use of the merchandise I purchase from a steak knife to a daily driver vehicle. Why should my android device be any different. Give android users the right to have root access and therefore better development capabilities now!
Need to stickie this thread

Signed and commented and gave a donation to keep ipetitions up and going. Seemed to help when Samsung stopped updating the behold 2. About 3 weeks after I signed they released the official update to 1. 6 when they said they were done @ 1. 5. Hope this gets where it needs to go and gets done what is intended. Thanks for starting it.

HTC's bootloader unlock process goes live, Sensation prepares for custom ROM glory

Verbatim from the Engadget News Post:
Today is turning out to be a great day for the Android set, what with news of the Google / Moto deal and now -- HTC's unleashing its bootloader unlock tool for the masses. That's right, the company's Taiwanese team of engineers flipped the switch on the service that sees owners of a global SIM-unlocked Sensation working their way towards OEM-sanctioned root access. Unfortunately, stateside owners of the phone's T-Mobile variant, as well as the EVO 3D, will have to sit back and wait while further testing is conducted on their devices. So, what are you ROM fiends waiting for? Head on over to HTC's developer site and let us know your success in the comments below.

Sprint devs for lg g2

I am eagerly anticipating the release of sprints lg g2. I am wondering what devs are coming to develop for the sprint lg g2. Would like to get a idea of the family that I will be with. I am sure that the device will gain popularity as time goes by, but wondering if you are a dev or a theme creator or person who does kernels etc and coming over. Would love to check out some of your work on other devices. Just haven't heard anyone ask and really am interested in this device provided the devs are on board with it, I am locking in to a agreement for 2 years so want to weigh my options carefully .

Anyone heard of any devs?

I'm sure there will be many developers once the phone actually comes out and they know what they are working with.

Lg updates

Anyone heard about an update for our phone. LG finally made a true flagship device, I hope they are ready as a company to act like a flagship manufacturer.

I guess you're talking about an update to Kit-Kat. If so, there are rumors of one in the works but still nothing official.

I'm sure we'll pretty much have to depend on the development community for updates.
January-March is my guess on official US carrier update. LG is a bit slow, but the carriers are what truly cause this.

Sounds like multiple carriers in the US

According to CNETs interview, the head of Sony mobile has been in talks with multiple US carriers.
Unfortunately the z1s was released recently pushing a z2
Release back.
As a vzw customer I would pick this over an s5 hands down.
I hope so.this phone is a beast
