Dear owners of lgl24, do you have "learning" (universal remote) function in Qremote like in G2 and G3?

Owned this superb phone for abt a month. Have infra red to control TV.. Cheers.

Thanks for message! Was there such function as "universal remote"? lgl22 (previous model) have Qremote too, but with limited functionality (no IR receiver, so no learning).

This is useful, thanks. To flash recovery, do I just install the recovery apk under the 2nd link in the phone?

Got this phone for a short time.
First experience.
How to unlock sim card:
For some reason this phone does not ask for unlock code when installing new SIM card like lgl24. It does not matter!
1. install QuickShortcutMaker from google play
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sika524.android.quickshortcut
2. Search for "hidden" in applications and create shortcut
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEEIHtE_LCI
3. Enter your unlock code.
How to get unlock code? Buy code for LG G3 D855, it's suitable.
I can't promise, but I'll try to write how to get root and clean up japanese apps. But most likely this procedure is the same as for lgl22.
First impressions:
1. There is NO brightness/light sensor in ISAI FL LGL24! NO ambient light sensor in Isai FL! Google, please index this so english speaking people will know this; Only manual brightness control and setting for night time mode. There is no auto brightness mode. This is really sad. See attached file.
2. The camera is the same as in lgl22;
3. Screen is very good, but same sharpening effect as G3;
3. No quickremote learning.

Guide LG G3 No Lag for ever - by fosseperme

Excuse me for bad English
And after the success of the mod that I realized that solved the vast majority of defects audio Nexus 5, I came back more determined than ever to solve once and for all the lags problems that afflict LG G3. By following this simple guide (consisting of more parts with the help of various tools) will restore to life your G3 which eventually will be made the most of its hardware and power!
Requirements: terminal with root permissions
Rom: this procedure was tested on lollipop roms type AOSP (cyano 12 based), but it should easily run also on based rom LG , kitkat and lollipop.
Step 1
The first step towards the elimination of the lag is the installation of the app Seeder from playstore (which many of you already know). So you open the app, set it on, then crossed out the boxes "Suspend RNG service while screen off" and "Start automatically on boot" (the second option instead leave it unchecked) and then set the mode profile Aggressive.
Step 2
Disable (or at least delay as much as possible) the thermal control of LG, in order to avoid that the temperature increase leads to an automatic underclock and to a drop in performance of the CPU.
Flashing then zip through recovery from this file: LINK
In the case of the based LG rom is preferred instead to use this method here.
Step 3
Enable hardware rendering and disable the overlay hardware.
Go to the developer options in your rom (if don t appears the option, you must activate it before going into the phone info and more by clicking on the name of the build until it is given the confirmation message) and enable the option "Force GPU rendering".
Now just below is another important option that should be activated, "Disable HW overlay"; unfortunately happens that this option once activated is constantly disabled when you restart the phone, and then you will be forced to re-enable it manually. To avoid this will appeal to a startup script automatically. Download it at this link, and create a folder in your internal memory (which for convenience we will call scripts) and paste the downloaded file inside.
Now download the app from the market "init.d scripts support" of RYO Software. Open it and set it as follows; check the "Run scripts at boot time", set in the Execution Delay the option No Delay and then select the folder that you created in the internal memory and in which you have pasted the script (making sure to save the selected folder , so that coming back should view the route chosen precisely - just indicate only the folder, the script file inside do not see but do not worry!). Now reboot and you should see that at boot of the phone the script application will start automatically (when loading the script itself), and so in the options developer you will have the option "disable overlay" always active without the need for manual activation every time.
Step 4
At every change of rom or update of the same rom, make fstrim procedure (because this phone is plagued by bug trim). Download the app from the playstore called "emulator terminal" (by Jack Palevich), open it and type on
su
fstrim /date
fstrim /system
fstrim /cache
Alternatively you can use the app called lagfix from playstore.
Now enjoy your LG G3 lag free !!!
If there is no cost on battery life after apply this mod, its worthed to try.
Installed and working fine for now more fluid and lab free, anyway need more testing.

Seeder works well on lollipop (i tested it on many roms such as cm12,resurrection remix and pa beta 5.0). Download latest version on xda and reflash latest supersu from recovery.
I have cloudy g3 2.0 and it really working
I will post in. Couple of days what my battery status
UPDATE: I noticed that disable the thermal control inevitably cause to a greater increase in temperature of the terminal and the consequent reduction in battery life, of course, for the benefit of better performance. If you do not want that, you can go directly to step 3 and skip this step.

Did that my self from the start and still working like charm, battery considering, looks like this have no impact on battery life for now.
I got random reboots after doing the thermal mod and developer settings change. Resored from the recovery...
remember guys the Step 2 CAN actually damage your hardware.
first time i did this after few minutes my device got so hot i could not keep my finger on the power button to bring up the power menu. so it can burn your device internally!
Step 4 dosent work on Cyanogenmod 12 nightly? If i use the app called lagfix its fails

Looks like the bootloader and image is missing from the phone.
nexus download mode
HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR 10 SECONDS THIS SHOULD WORK
Download mode is for installing ROMs/kernels/and programs to the device.
You can safely reset the phone if you are not writing anything to it (which generally requires being connected to your computer via usb). When it says do not unplug or disconnect until process is complete it is referring to the ROM writing process, which it sounds like you haven't initiated.
You likely entered it by holding a certain key combination while powering on the phone.

Enabling basebands on MZP (works with almost any Qualcomm phone).

Hi folks! Today i'll bring you a guide to enabling all the basebands in qualcomm manufactured phones, focused in Moto Z Play.
Since a lot of us got the Chinese version of this phone, i have been reading a lot of people complaining about signal problems and that's cause the MZP CN comes with band 800 only. Now i made this guide to show you how to enable the base bands in our phones (and other Qualcomm phones, so feel free to share it).
First of all, you have to get all the things to work, these are:
USB Cable of your phone
A working PC with Windows
QPST and mztool software
QDLoader HS-USB Drivers
I have uploaded the QPST with MZTool and the Drivers for your convenience, since this software have the capability to modify the imei, i can't upload directly to xda.
QPST is here
Drivers are here
Well, first of all, we have to make a backup of our radio partition, if something goes wrong or if you lost your imei in the future, etc.
For doing this we will have to turn off your phone, then start it in bootloader mode (vol down and power), and then scroll to "QCOM" and press power.
Then you have to plug the cable to your computer and install the Drivers and the QPST Software, if you had installed previously don't worry, just wait 'till the PC recognize the phone and install it, it should look like this
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After installing the device drivers, you should start saving the backup, for doing this, open program QFIL in the QPST folder in Start menu of your computer, then going to Tools tab and selecting "Backup/Restore QCN" option like this
Then select the folder to read/write the .qcn file (this will be the backup, so you can change the filename and the destiny folder).
Later open RF NV Manager, but first of all, you must close QFIL and open QPST Configuration program from the QPST Start Menu Folder, then open RFNV Manager (if this last one doesn't come up in the QPST Start folder, don't panic, just search for it in bin folder at QPST install folder and open the program from there)
In RF NV search for tab Setting > Comport, and in the drop down menu look for the COM port that matches with the one in the QPST Config program or the one in Windows Device Manager, then select from tab File > Read from Phone, and wait 'till it finishes. After this, scroll down in the items left box to number 1877, this is were the basebands are written, click on this and a number should appear at the right box like this
Then open mzTool and select on "Band Preference" tab the basebands you want to enable, then look for the decimal number in the right lower part and write it on RF NV, then select 'Write NV' box upper from the box you entered the code, click this a couple times just to be sure it's done
Then reboot your phone on normal startup, open the dialer and press *#*#4636#*#* to open the testing menu, and then select the phone info menu, then in the scroll down (the vertical three dots) select the radio you want to use, and that's all!
Attach files to your post or reupload files to zippyshare please. Google removed them.

Seriously we can get the Droid version and it work as unlocked?
Can it enable AT&T LTE bands on Chinese version?
Is there any way for me to use a baseband version after which i might be able to enable Volte which is not working on my rom. I am on darkness redefined rom.
i posted the similar method for enabling bands
it does display all bands supported. but actually it doesn't
i think all bands working unless mod the radio file
same tutorial in mzp thread of)'enabling dual sim in single sim device' ?
QPST link is dead.
Anyone confirm this is working? Could we upgrade to Droid MZ2 Play and enable other bands?
Hi! May I ask about the same tutorial for Moto G5S Plus (XT1804) to extend the LTE bands with the European ones? (I have Indian phone).
MZP CN comes with band 800 only
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
What does this mean? I have the RETCN variant and I'm currently connected to LTE. My operator supports LTE bands B3 and B40.
Update: just tested with Network Signal Guru and my ohone is connected to Band 07 (2600) so that one is supported too. Am I missing something?
xt1635-02 on verizon
Is it possible to use this tutorial to bring my xt1635-02 to verizon? Would I have to flash the verizon xt1635-01 rom with RSD Lite?
Hello!!
Thank you so much for your manual, it is great
do you know where i can find QPST for this purpose?

[Guide][STOCK] How download latest fastboot firmware with Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant

This guide show you how to download latest fastboot images from your device from the official servers, using the Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant software.
If you find mistakes or you do not understand sentences, tell me.
Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant (LMSA) allow you to perform various actions on your phone, such as installing the latest update of the manufacturer, perform backups / restores, manage files stored on the phone... But I recommend to do this actions only if your phone runs the official stock ROM.
Another nice feature of LMSA is that you can download and reinstall the official ROM in case of system corruption. To do this, the software downloads the ROM in fastboot version : then you can take it.
Requirements
- Be able to start your phone in fastboot mode.
- Have the phone's USB port functional + a functional USB cable.
- Have a computer running on Windows 7 - 10 (later version need test, if ok let me know)
- Have internet on your computer
Method
0) Download and install if this is not done yet the USB drivers for Moto G5 fastboot mode (https://support.motorola.com/in/en/drivers)
1) Download and install LMSA from Lenovo's website (https://support.lenovo.com/pl/en/downloads/DS101291)
2) Launch LMSA, click on the "Flash" menu at the top left of the window, and click on "Go Rescue" at the bottom right.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3) Then you will have to select your phone. For the Moto G5, select first at the top "Moto Phone", then below "Moto G5", and then the model of your phone. If you do not know it, watch step 4a. Otherwise, when you plug your phone into fastboot mode, LMSA "should" automatically find the model, but it's safer to choose it manually "just in case".
4) Start/restart your phone in fastboot mode. For the Moto G5, press the start button and at the same time keep pressing the "volume minus" button until you reach the fastboot. If your phone boots to your ROM, repeat this step.
4a) To know the model of your phone, look at the line "Product / Variant" on the fastboot screen, just after "cedric" there should be the model version (XT1670, XT1671, XT1672, XT1675, XT1676 or XT1677).
5) Connect the phone. LMSA should propose you the latest fastboot image available: Just click on the icon next to the image, on the right, to download it.
6) Once the download is complete, a folder containing all the files of the fastboot image is available in the folder :
C:\ProgramData\LMSA\Download\RomFiles (default folder)
Et voilà!
If something wrong
1) Repeat the steps meticulously
2) Be sure to connect the phone only at the end and in fastboot mode
3) Verify that the Motorola USB drivers are correctly installed. To do this, go to the device manager (Press the Windows + R key, write "devmgmt.msc" and press OK). If your screen looks like the first image, the drivers are properly installed.
If your screen looks like the second image, you will need to reinstall the drivers and/or restart your computer.
1) Restart the computer after installing the drivers and LMSA. I already had bug with LMSA that were resolved after a reboot.
1) If it still does not work, please indicate it in the thread. To help you as well as possible, please provide as much information as possible: the version of Windows, the model of your phone, is it root / unblocked, do you use the ROM stock or not, the ROM name...
Note
LMSA automatically decompresses the fastboot image, so if you want to share the image on the internet, it is recommended to re-zip all the files (with 7-Zip for example).

Looks like the application bug, have you tried restarting your computer after installing drivers for fastboot and LMSA? Then, rerun all the procedures and plug your phone into fastboot mode only at the end
it says " Device is not supported" although i have a moto g5 XT 1676 Whit unlock bootloader
LMSA is, IMHO, just a pile of junk. It never detects my phone in the Flash/Upgrade sessions. Apart of that the backup function doesn't work, file manager can only copy files (not folders) and only one at a time afaik.
fastboot and adb alone seemed far more usable to me.

Any idea where to locate the ispbooot.bin file for this wireless AA/Carplay display screen?

I have been trying to fix a Bluetooth issue on this unit I bought about a year ago and I chased this down the rabbit hole to locate a isobooot.bin for what looked like an identical Device under a brand name. I installed it but it's a different resolution and touch screen no longer works. Anyone have experience with these units? I'm also interested in the firmware for the newer 5" AA motorcycle display that seems to fix this BT issue. Thanks.

At this moment I have the August 2022 update, but thereis no option for change the boot logo and the UI of the home screen is different (in a bad way) then the advertised image, which havee big tiles...
Then we're basically looking for the same latest version - I only know about the Aug 22 version
So some info, I bought a "Carsara" branded one.
I was disapponted for 2 particolar reason, this is why I'm here.
1. the UI in the selling page was way more minimal and easy to use (mine was like a 1990 headunit)
2. there was no option to change the boot logo
Well, they send me and old firmware (Of another brand, ""Maxca"" ,wich I think it's the main producer of this devices) with the Old UI, it's fantastic, but the Android Auto Wireless it's not working anymore.
In this old firmware you can edit the boot logo with a lot of car brand.
Cerry on top if you whant to customize the boot spash screen with one created from you, create a "logo.jpg" image, resolution 1024x600 and"put it in the same USB where you put the ISPBOO0T.bin file. After two reboot you will see your logo on the boot up. NICE!!!!
On some of the latest firmware you only have to boot up the device and connect the usb with the "logo.jpg" inside, the device will do the rest. Reboot and engoy.
For who whants to try the old firmware with the WAY COOLER UI here is the link:
https://drive.google.com/drive/fold...onversation.0.0.1bc53e5fLQyHZL&usp=share_link
Basically I'm unable to have the OLD UI with a working Wireless Android Auto. It's very sad, the unit is nice.

Can you post a photo of the unit you have and what home UI you have now?
The unit I have is the exact unit in the original post (although the outlets are on the left side, not the right side).
I will have to try to remember to photograph the UI tonight when I am home. Regarding the boot logo- in the Engineer menu (or whatever it's called, pin 123456) there is an option to change the boot logo with several brand logos. I have read that if you great an image of the correct resolution and extension and place it on an SD card it might show up as an option on that screen.

Correct and it works, If you read up I've explained how, late I'll post some photo and videos to be more clear.
Honestly it's the first time I see no support on some software modding, and the market for this thing it's not small..
An alternative ip67 just a bit more refine and specific for motorcycle it's 250euros, I've payed mine 47euros.
