plzzz help abt aircel operator name....

i m using aircel sim card in my gene but i can't see aircel operator name or aircel service provider name instead i see something number like 405804 plzz help..... Is there any software or plugin for that???????

Thanks a lot Jagan, I could get the operator name finally on my HTC .... from 405805 to Aircel

Aircel Roaming Sign
Hi Jagan, I used the network utility cab and could finally resolve the issue of operator name not appearing on the screen.
Another issue that i have noticed since day one is that a small triangle sign (denoting roaming) is constant on the screen even when i am in home network. If I insert any other sim card, it disappears but reappears when aircel card is inserted. Please guide / suggest actions for the same.

Dude it the problem with Aircel Compatibility In HTC it Shows Some New Network
As The Handset Is In Roaming.
But its not.

WE all Members have flashed the New Radio None of them found Any problem IN OUR devices.
You Can Flash Any Rom After Updgrading Your Radio Any Many TImes As You want No Problem.. With IT
Note : The Radio Version Works Correctly For All INdian Devices Other Country Device I dont Know If YOu Want Try at YOur Own Risk
For Indian Devices I Recommend To FLash ThE New Radio.

[Q] How to change Defauly country in HTC HD2 Tmobile

Hi
I have HTC HD2 T Mobile whic was offficially unloacked by T-Mobile when I moved from USA to India.
Here the phone is working well on Vodafone nw.However I have following problems :-
1.1800 seriesnos in India - Unable to dial. It shows as 1(800)... & never connects.
2. Most of local cel nos 098....doesn't connect.I tried +9198...., 098.... but no luck. Some neetwork like Tata & Reliance work well.
Anyone can suggest a solution?

You might have to dial 01191 + the number, that is the normal way to access India from the US. But that seems strange, because the access numbers should be via your local phone provider. I'm assuming you changed your SIM chip...
Be careful of custom ROMS - your T-mobile HD2 is different from the international version and will not accept a world wide ROM. The ROM has to be made for T-Mobile US.

Yes please make sure if you use a custom Rom that its made for your US model some can be used for both

My problem is limited to some nos. Most of the nos I can dial. Thats what puzzles me.
Like Blackberry, where you select the country prefix in settings, can I select the country in HD2? Or is there some registry tweak to solve this? I am using an India SIM card. There is no issue with SIM as I am able to dial all nos using same SIM in a different phone.
Is there a ROM update for T-Mobile HD2? Pl help with links...

Hi guys, hope you can help...
I rooted my tatoo and managed to install CyanogenMod7 on it and I was hoping that this will be enough. Well, it wasn't )
My phone came locked for Orange cards and what confuses me is that after installing a new ROM I still can't use other SIM cards.
When I turn the phone on it asks me for the PIN of the SIM card and then it asks for "sim network unlock pin"
I searched around and some say that it has to do with radio in tatoos. These are suggesting installing old radio or some kind of update for it...
Does anyone have any suggestions where to get that update and some tips how to install it?

Problem with sim card

Hi guys!
I have a problem with my TIM sim card.
i have the marshmallux rom and qith this rom is all ok. but when i change rom for example with orion rom or Stock & Rooted/Debloated Rom 6.0 my device don t recognize my sim card.
it s very strange.
So i had prove to put an other sim card of my friends (a wind sim card) and with this sim i haven t problem.
how can i do?
I would like to avoid spending money to change sim and have no positive result

GT i9515 - No sim Card | Emergency calls only after upgrade ROM

Hello, I have a problem with my Galaxy GT-I9515. One day I wanted to upload some ROM cutes. Everything works great, but after some time he started to dump me such a message:
No SIM card Only emergency calls
I would like to add that I have tested various cards and can not see it in any way, before the ROM upgrade it worked without any problems.
