TIA

No. You can only deactivate a few system apps

Actually you may install a custom recovery like TWRP using Odin and run a zip bloatware remover.
There is no need to root Android to do this.

I have the Foxhound Rom installed on my s4 and on the rom features list, it says that the Samsung bloatware is removed but available on zip. What does that mean? The there are a couple of Samsung apps that I still want on my phone. Thanks!!

Hi,
Download the zip,and extract the apps you want.
Install them with a file explorer.
I saw in the AT&T Development section there was a rooted stock 4.4.2 with bloatware removed but that build has no working downloads... I installed the stock rooted 4.4.2 and was curious if there was a flashable file that would remove the bloat from the phone? I know how to use a system app removal app but sometimes it's a bit dificult to go through the list and find everything.

Having stock ROM doesn't mean no rooting.
Of course root is required! Rignt now I use S5 ROM for S4 Samy deluxe ROM operation Ivy, but I'd like to use stock ROM with some S5 features! (UPSM, toolbox, Download Booster)
Anyway, thanks man!

When did I say stock rom means no rooting?
What does towelroot do? Just plain root because if you modify any-stock-thing, it'll trip knox.
But then I dont think the UPSM mod is for the odexed rom as of now..
But yeah most of the s5 features are in the zip flash form too..
Plus all you have to do is check their zips for the apk, some apks do work without flashing too..

You can try. But it may be very unstable or even brick your phone. I wouldn't recommend it.
Hello
Quick info
I have Samsung Note 3 n9005 ,stock rom 5.0 , rooted with chainfire root , twrp recovery installed. I really need to hide my root from banking apps. Or at least be able to install xposed on my rom so I can use rootcloack apparentlty xposed isn't compatible with Samsung phone using Android 5.0
Any help?

Google.
apparentlty xposed isn't compatible with Samsung phone using Android 5.0
Have you asked on the xposed forum ??
I'm also looking for a way to hide my root from specific application.
I already "googled" it as Dejan Sathanas suggest, and solutions like temporary disable root are not good for me.
Thanks,
Look for app Magisk for hide root

Search and you will find working Xposed. I had used Arter's Xposed version (number I forgot).
I used Xposed with 5.0 AryaMod (stock based ROM) for more than 1.5years.
And then install Rootcloak and things should be fine.

I tried this once. Magisk then systemless xposed, it only got me in boot loop. Have you tried it yourself?

The OP clearly say "rooted with chainfire root", so how can you advice on Magisk?
