T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4 white Official Unboxing video - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 General

T-Mobile Sr. Product Guy “Des” unboxed the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The back cover does not have T-Mobile logo. yaay
Not sure maybe it’s due to early production units or T-Mobile decided not to deface gorgeous device

T-Mobile version doesn't have any carrier branding. I held one the other day. Good job by T-Mobile not to deface the beauty this time around.

Did i see band 12 on the box? :good:

It means that the note 4 will support the band 12, 700mhz that t mobile bought from Verizon that is scheduled to be activated over the next year all over the usa. It's a stronger frequency that penetrates buildings

Are the Samsung headphone good? Can hear any bass at all?

Happy to see that it'll support band 12

[Q] Where to get a white galaxy note

Samsung have stated they will be releasing the white note along with the blue one at the same time, which is launch. I can't find any online stores that are willing to sell the white one, can someone help me track it down?

Network
HSPA+ 21Mbps 850/900/1900/2100
EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900
So maybe tmobile compatible after all?
I want one of these buggers, white or black or blue; hopefully 32GB

Clove, in their blog, stated that the only model available on launch day is the 16 gig blue/black model. So those of you wanting 32 GB and/or white will have to wait.
T-mobile 3G requires both 1700 and 2100, so that's a bust. It does work on T-moble edge however.

i got a white LG phone ( i want to get a white galaxy note too ), it will look dirty when you got scratch and then the dirt kinda stuck on it and kinda look dirty but if you don't drop or scratch the plastic of the phone then it should be clean off the dirt easily .

Tmobile lg 4 vs international lg 4

Well now that they have been announced I have a questions are there any differences between them ? Will they both get the same Dev support ? I made the mistake of buying the galaxy 2 from tmobile and worse decision I ever did had to get rid of it and buy a gnex since the support for the galaxy s2 was the worst and always behind..... Since I have tmobile might ass well use one of my upgrades and save some money on the lg4 just making sure I won't be stuck getting late updates or have luck of support like some people with the Verizon galaxy nexus are having but I understand why since they are using lte which changes the phone around......
thanks for all the help in advanced

NO! Pay $150 more to not have to worry about a contract, PLUS pay less with a Value or Pre-Paid Tmo plan.
It is too soon to tell if there will be a software difference. Anyone who says differently needs to provide a link showing proof.
The hardware will be the same.
Actually, it seems that the T-Mobile version will have 42mbps HSPA+, while the version in the google play store only goes up to 21mbps HSPA+.
Other than that, I would assume they would be identical.

FFS people. There are not two versions. It has 8GB or 16GB, those are the SKUs. They're both 42mbps HSPA+.
Google's own Play Store had a typo. It's even been fixed there: https://play.google.com/store/devic...wNV9uZXh1c1VTXzFfcHJvbW9fMTM1MTUyODMyNzI1OCJd

My bad, I saw the 21 earlier and I thought it was some deal between T-Mobile and Google. The Galaxy Nexus international and US unlocked versions were identical hardware-wise, and since there won't be a CDMA version, there shouldn't be any differences with the Nexus 4

Unlock Frequencies

So on the Note 2 (I317/I317M variant), the techies have been able to modify the modem file (through the Qualcomm software) to enable AWS HSPA and DC-HSPA. You think we will be able to do the same here with the HTC One ATT / Canadian units?

From what I read, there will be two variants per usual...but what I find interesting is the T-Mobile variant WILL support all HSPA bands + ATT (or Bell / Rogers in Canada) LTE meaning the T-Mobile variant (bloatware aside, and physical carrier branding on unit) would be the preferred model.

Too bad the T-Mo units have so much branding.
Now that the phone has launched, maybe someone will figure out a way to work the Qualcomm firmware to unlock the HSPA AWS bands.

With all the devs around here, the bands and s-off will probably come quick.
Has anyone figured this out yet using the QPST method in the Qualcomm software like we do with Samsung?
I was going to start looking into this. But someone has an S-OFF for the One coming soon?
If so might as well just flash the t-mobile radio then.

Hi all,
I was just wondering were you guys able to get LTE signals from the phone you got from P4U? (or from anywhere for that matter)
thanks all =)
Check this out below. Looks like 2 bars of LTE. Bell and rogers have the 2600 frequency which is supported on the Euro version. But I'm told signal Strength in buildings is week.

Or just buy it at AT&T since it will probably be cheaper. yes you may have to wait a few more weeks but the Developer addition offers pretty much nothing for you. Chances are the One will be $500-550 contract free at AT&T Stores.
I asked them and they won't ship to the US. Amazon prices are $950, and everywhere else is pre-order. I tried Expansys, but once they saw I was US, they moved my order to Expansys US. I canceled at that point. Amazon UK won't get them until the 12th. How the hell can I buy this phone?

The UK version has different LTE bands to the USA. So the 64GB Dev edition will not work on 4G(LTE) in the UK.

Hi, I got it from USA with the help of my friend who lives there.
Thanks
A bit more information on purchasing from the USA and supported networks in the UK....
A friend of mine is the chief technical officer of a VERY large mobile operator
I asked him about the HTC One and supported networks.....he went into an insane amount of detail, but here is the summary
Looking at this USA website
http://www0-shopamerica.htc.com/cell-phones/productdetail.htm?prId=41599
It says this
HSPA/WCDMA: 850/1900/2100 MHz
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
LTE: 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz (US)
HSPA/WCDMA is basically 3G and will work in UK and Europe with those Mhz
GSM/GPRS/EDGE is just old 2G and will work
LTE - this is where we suffer, as Most of Europe including the UK uses 1800 LTE
So basically, if you buy a phone from the USA, you'll get 3G working no problem, but LTE wont work at all because the UK use 1800 and USA HTC ONE doesn't support it.
If you look at the one here
http://www.mobicity.co.uk/htc-one-64gb.html
You'll see it supports LTE 1800, so that will work in the UK with these new super fast speeds
For me, 3G is fine, so i'm going to go for the USA edition and get a friend to bring me one (when black is available)
But for others the 4G/LTE speeds are a deal breaker
He also said the phone should support HSPA+ as its such a new high end device.
But he said he would have to double check it first (but was pretty confident)
HTC One 4G LTE 64GB ... how much ??
I face the very same problem
I want the developer edition too - I'm just waiting for someone to courier it back from the US for me
Its not worth getting the HTC One 64GB from MobiCity at that price - its actually gone down to £670 now as they must not be moving any of the units
if they knock off another £50-£100 I'd consider it.
The problem in the UK is they just turn a dollar sign $ into a £ sign
HTC One 4G LTE 64GB = £671.99
HTC One Dev Edition 64GB = $649.99
and LTE is only available one network here so it wont be beneficial to me till the end of the year

I'm a sucker for the silver
I think the black is cool though but knowing me ...and the fact that I wont use a case. It would hurt my feeling to scratch the black colored aluminium and see the metal coming through
I actually dont think they do a 64gb black dev edition
although I just realised that MobileCity
are pricing the two colours differently
so they actually havent dropped the price at all
I brought it in ringgit malaysia RM2559.00.
I dont know what the currency in uk.
