Hello,
Yesterday I installed Cyanogenmod 11 Official Nightlies. I charged my phone when it was powered off and later plugged out the charger. But when I tried to turn on the phone in the morning, the battery was at 0%.
I just discovered that the charging animation when the phone is turned off, is still active even when the charger is plugged out. This drains my battery.
This doesn't happen on Samsung Touchwiz ROMs.
How can I fix this?
I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F.

Main thing: When you plugging in wall charger it says that phone is fully charged at 90%. And when you unplug your charger, battery stays on 90%. I have changed battery. I have changed charger. Oddly, but straightaway after clean gingerbread install +fugu+voodoo, everything was OK for around a month. No crappy software installed as well.
Anyone? Thank you
Hi everyone.
I have the Galaxy S4 I9505, and recently when i woke up in the morning i saw that my phone had not charged, and that the battery was dead. The micro usb port had been acting weird for a while, and would only accept the charger that i had at home, but now it wouldn't even accept that one. So i replaced the charging module hardware part with a new one, but it still won't charge, turn on or react to anything. I have tried to put in a fully charged battery (charged using external charger), but the phone still won't turn on. Any clues to why this have happened? My phone was fine before this whole ordeal, besides the charging problem that is.
Regards
Stefan
Hi all,
I just picked up a generic wireless charger and a Cheotech charging pad and having a weird problem. The phone refuses to charge past 70% on the wireless charger. It does charge to 100% plugged in.
I'm using the latest 6.01 stock Samsung rom. I want to think this is a software thing as it refuses to go past 70% on or off. I have tried clearing the cache but nothing. Any possible easy fixes?
I had put my 1.5 year old redmi 3s prime for charging last night and gone to sleep, it had 4% charge and i woke up to find it was 16% and not charging. I then changed my charger and cable but no avail. I then cleaned the charging port to see if that was the problem still no use. I saw couple of youtube videos n then unplugged n re-plugged my battery to see if that was the issue but my phone wasnt turning on, so i left it for plugged to the charger a couple of hours more but it wasnt charging. Then i rebooted it into recovery (power + volume up) and ran a few tests for which i have attached the screenshot. I live in a place where there is no Redmi service centre so i have to fix it myself. I would like some help to figure out if its the battery or the charging port faulty.
Now when i try to turn of the phone the only thing i get is a red light blinking. Also I used a friends phone cable to charger my phone sometime back and now his cable isnt working as well.
Try To Reflash Rom Or Try Offline Charging If You Using Custom Kernel Make Sure USB Fast Charging Is Off If Not Then Turn It Off And Then Try..
So today i flashed my SM-S975L from 4.3 Jelly Bean to 6.0.1 Marshmallow CM 13 and the battery life seems fine, however the trouble seems to come when I go to charge. Even plugged in directly to the wall with a wall adapter and using a 2.1 Amp port on a mobile charger it does not seem to want to charge quickly at all. In fact when I went to plug it into the wall at 2% it actually completely DIED and shut off. Plugged into the mobile charger it discharged as well and didn't charge at all despite the phone saying it was "plugged in" I also get the "Slow charging" label on the lock screen when plugged into the wall and mobile charger. It didn't seem to have an issue when it was on 4.3 Jelly Bean so I don't know what the issue is. Is their some setting i'm overlooking? I've tried a couple different cables as well. I am a noob here but I've been using Android's for years. Currently I'm charging it while turned off to see if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
(UPDATE) I downloaded Ampere and it's only pulling about 500 MA on the wall charger. However it's not a great charge brick, I'll try to find my nicer one tomorrow.
(UPDATE) Same deal with a 5V Apple wall charger, So I just installed the Reconstruction Remix 5.74 Kernel that supports fast charging to see if that fixes it.
(UPDATE) Moved to Lineage OS 7.1.2 AROMA for more kernel support and using the default kernel in the installer. I now get "Charging rapidly" but the MA on Ampere has stayed the same although it does appear the numbers are bumped up atleast a little bit on Ampere.
