RKM MK902II vs Minix NEO X8 H - Android Stick & Console RockChip based Computers

hello,
I am new with these all android pc media streamers, I would like to ask which is better?
which CPU is better RK3288 or ALOMAGIC S802H?
which GPU is better MALI T760 or MALI 450MP6?
Maybe you recomand something else up to 135$?
thank you,

rk 3288 cpu and graphic are more faster.
rk3288 is better for everything except the firmware..

video not working
Both links don't work.. the article/thread isn't there and the video has bad ID.
Sounds interesting though.. was this made by Archos or a hack?
As far as I know they will release a 101 Home Tablet (http://www.utablets.eu/content/archos-101-home-tablet-ces-2011 & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfNM3VNYBTg).
There is a difference between the IT and HT. The HT have got the low end chipset, the IT mid/high end.

Already change the link... go watch...
so it means A101IT is the rockchip? or it will be release soon? Probobly it will brand as Gen9 or Gen10...
Better hardware and Android 2.3 and cost less! Cool! I wonder why it is considered low end when it is better? Are they going to release a even better new Archos 101 IT II? I also noticed no softkeys.. very cool.. more screen space!
so the HomeTablet seen in the video is "Low"End while the InternetTablet is "High"End but the hardware in the "Low"End is better than the one in the "High"End tablet?
No, the Rockchip is not the better chip.
It only has alittle better video output ( not even all ) but the processor itself is alot slower.
Ah, ok. So the HT can decode 1080p but measured only in CPU power it's slower than the IT

Doesn't look like a lie. But...this is not the same as our 101 internet tablets.

How can it be slower if it is at 1.2Ghz and made to be upgradable to Honeycomb which requires a good cpu to run smoothly?
"Honeycomb which requires a good cpu to run smoothly?"
Roumors, just Roumors.
My I7 QM720 is running at 1600Mhz and outperforms every P4.
It's not only the freq.
@fzelle your i7 has a different architecture than a P4, all those OMAP, Tegra, Snapdragon, whatever chips have all the same architecture (Cortex A8 aka armv7a). So yes, you can compare frequency.
Nope.
They have a similar design ( instructionset usw ) but as they all have diff memorycontroller, and other design diffs you can't expect that more mhz==more speed.
Nope.
They all have Cortex-A8 cores inside stacked together with some RAM and the DSPs do the video decoding
I curious...
can we get today any update.img file from a rk2918 device?
the Ramos W15 dosent exist yet and the Archos image is packed...

Tegra 3 Vs. Omap 4430?

Quick question -- how does the Tegra 3 stack up to the Nook Tablet's OMAP 4430? i know it's a bump up, but i'd like to know how much of a bump up i'm getting with my fancy new bit of gadgetry. I know they're both based on a ARM A9 CPU, but that's all...

well you have two more cores, so thats twice the CPU performance in apps that can support quad core (browsers and some games).
the GPU is much faster on the tegra3 though. the geforce ulp is about 2-3x faster than the gpu on the omap 4460 chipset at the same resolution. not sure how far behind the omap 4430 is, but the tegra3 is definitely much better.

Quad-core tegra 3 vs Dual Core OMAP 4430?
I know...quad core and tegra 3 is the winner, but Dual Core OMAG 4430(Galaxy Tab2 7.0) how much time will resist gaming market, if you know what I mean
T3 have better CPU+ GPU
Also better, faster, newer system by google
The 4430 is crap? The gnex has the 4460 and its not all that great either. The CPU in the 8.9 which is the 4470 is the only one that's better than the tegra3.

Compared to the T3 the OMAP is garbage. I actually write firmware for TI processors (DSP's not OMAP's but still...)

[Q] HELP mali 450 gpu gaming issues

hai friend iam from india once i was a proud owner of i9300 ,gaming and only gaming was the only major thing doing on my phone amd mediatek announced mt6592 octa core chipset with mali450mp4gpu i planned to buy a phone powered by this new chipset on this jan 14th i brought a phone called"INTEX AQUA OCTA" a phone with mediatek MT6592 chipset ,the problem is when i play games like asphalt8 and gangstar 4 vegas i am not getting high graphics like when i play these games on i9300. there was an option to change the graphics properties on the game itself but the high and medium graphics are faded out. i rooted and installed cwm recovery on my phone and changed several model numbers in build.prop to aquire the high option setting on these gamese to turn on at last the GT-I9505 MODEL NUMBER IN BUILD.PROP turned on the high garphics mod in game setting but iam not getting the graphics contents like i play these games on galaxy s3 i thought that mali 450 mp4 is better than mali 400 gpu
what should i do to get graphics like galaxy s3 on my intex aqua octa powered by mali450mp4 gpu where should i modify to get graphics like that any help will be accepted like dust of gold i can seny u any part of the rom of intex aqua octa the benchmarks are also very impressive on antutu it scores more than galaxy s4 and in nenamark2 i got 60.3 fps and in fps meter when i play games like asphalt8 or gangstar vegas i get average 45fps the specfications of intex aqua octa is
MT6592 OCTA CORE 1.7GHZ WITH MALI450MP4 GPU 700MHZ
2GB RAM 16GB ROM
6" 720P IPS OGS DISPLAY
ANDROID 4.2.2 JELLYBEAN
i have latest mali450mp4 gpu drivers can anyone tell me how to implement these drivers i my rom
please guys help me pleseeeee

Choosing SoC MTK 8127A vs PX 5 RK

Hello want to change my aunt and I am in big trouble
My choices are an Android device based on MTK 8127A from ATOTO but that come with 2 GB of RAM or a regular one based on PX 5 which come with 4 GB of RAM.
I understand that the MTK car goes devices are a little bit rare
So what to choose:
ATOTO with a MTK PROCESSOR and 2 GB of RAM, pretty good support and rom updates or a PX 5 ?
Which is faster and more stable?
Thank you

From what i have heard, MediaTek has better reputation than Rockchip. Which one is more stable / faster depends on how the SoC is integrated into the platform, how the Software Governers control the clock rate of the SoC. So this is difficult to answer strictly based on the SoC chip itself.
SoC Chip: MTK 8127A
Soc-based Quad-core 1.5Ghz Cortex A7 CPU
GPU ARM Mali-450 MP4 .
System Version: ATOTO AICE OS 9.4, which is developed & customized based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS;

but there are also :
PX6 ! devices (but it's news no more info a this moment) :
Android 8,1
CPUX6 RK3399
2 Core cortex A72 2ghz
4 Core Cortex A53 1.5ghz
RAM: SAMSUNG DDR3 4 GB
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...-android-unit-cortex-a72-four-cortex-t3847427
And A72 Core is a lot better than A53, and A53 is a little bit better than the very old Cortex A7
I agree with @mum1989 that A72 and A53 CPU cores have much better specifications than the A7. If the applications you run on the head unit can take advantage of the ARMv8 instruction set or if the workload can be distributed across the cores, then PX6/PX6 SoC may well perform better than MTK8127A. On the other hand, in my day-to-day use of ATOTO A6 Pro which uses MTK8127A, I have never observed it to be slow or stutter or otherwise show signs that older A72 Core was limiting the end-user experience.
