Hi,
I don't know if OGYouTube caused this or my YouTube Original one is messed up, but when i click my Original YouTube app, it says 'Unfortunately YouTube has stopped'
and i cannot go on YouTube.
I uninstalled OGYouTube (since that was not working properly (crashing after ~1min of playing)) but it has not helped.
Anyone help?

Make sure there're no youtube ad-blocking apps or xposed modules..
Go to settings>More>Application manager>scroll down to Youtube>uninstall updates and start the app, and then quite it and let google play update youtube

Hi thanks it was an Xposed module
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Hi Guys
I have a Samsung GS3 with Omnirom 4.4, latest nightly installed. the Rom is AWESOME thanks to the dudes for all their hard work.
I am unable to post a video to instagram. The problem actually occurred on the stock rom 4.3 and was hoping the custom rom would sort it.
The problem is as follows. I can set the video up in instagram, trim & Crop, apply filter, select cover frame no problem but as soon as you want to post it to instagram it crashes "Unfortunately, Instagram has stopped"
The problem seems to be with GS3 only as my wifes GS3 also doesnt work but it does work on my friends GS4.
Is there something I can do or do i have to wait for Omni or Instagram to sort out the issue?
Thanks for your help
Can anybody give me the inbuilt DOLBY app for galaxy tab 3 8.0(SM-T311)? after updating to kitkat, there is not showing any DOLBY options in the video player..,please help me somebody...
Same here [emoji24].
Looks like samsung removed a lot of features when giving kitkat.
SM-G900F
Android 5.0 Samsung stock ROM
Baseband - G900FXXU1BOA3
Kernel 3.4.0-3624618
Build LRX21T.G900FXXU1BOA3
Play services from apk mirror, 7.0.93 (1778921-438)
Under smart lock options I only have "trusted devices". I played around disabling play services and un-installing updates, - reinstalling updates etc. At one stage I saw "trusted places" as well, but I can not see trusted face?
Read through dozens of links and forums, and I am not sure what the problem is. Some say Samsung removed this from their stock ROM? Some say it is a google play services that enables this? Any expert opinion or advice would be welcome.
My S3 had it. S5 didn't. Maybe check Samsung forums to see why it was discontinued.
Has anyone had success blocking Youtube ads on stock firmware?
So far I've tried the youtube Adaway xposed module (Link)
Adaway root app (Link)
With MOAB ad block list (link to list from this thread Thread Link)
Sideloading a modded youtube app (Link), doesn't have a TV layout, and no controller support.
Has anyone had any luck blocking youtube ads? I was really hoping the xposed module would work, I've asked on the XDA thread for the module about adding support for android TV youtube and haven't gotten a response.
So now running 3.0 stock (not even rooted). I'm still getting Ad's in youtube, but now they're un-skippable, I hope someone can figure this out soon!
the old adblock android block youtube adds half of the time, but it create tons of other bugs soooo not that good.
root is recomanded

adaway, and adblock Android (not the browser) does it but you need root.
adblock was not updated for a long time I guess...
I am using it on Zulu stock marshmallow rom.

Sucks. I was hoping to keep the device stock as pursuing roms often ends up with other issues and constantly manually updating, and after spending so much time putting roms on my phones I think im done with that.
If anyone has a stock solution, i'll donate, because **** getting 20 identical unskippable ads a day.

adblock browser then watch YouTube from the desktop site. you can set it as the default option in YouTube site itself.
you just need to side load the browser app.
or buy YouTube red.
or pay OG YouTube no add function.
If you are rooted and don't mind installing xposed, since a couple weeks ago youtube adaway module now works with the youtube Android tv app.
Enjoy.
Been watching YouTube app for about an hour now, not one ad.
Stock rom, rooted, using adaway (just the apk, not the browser, not using exposed)
Update....literally watched for hours (3+) yesterday and never saw a single ad.
Btw, I was using MoaAB until recently. I found it was really affecting loading/buffering times with certain addons in SMPC. Redid my entire setup again, this time using just adaway and issues are gone (as well as the ads)
