D855 Deviantxone rom ported - G3 General

I managed to port the deviantxone rom to the D855. The bugs are the same but if you want to try the capabilities of our beloved G3...
The rom works only if booting from fastboot due to the locked boot loader.
if the author of the rom allow me i will post in the forum.
Believe me.... it's incredible how fast it is!!!!

The rom is the same cause the device are identical. I just compiled a new kernel because the one for the tmo version didnt work.

I have D855P, only the kernel is different? Can you share? I`m from brazil, all people here is waiting something about that haha and how to boot up over fast boot? ;x

If your booting with the cyanogenmod kernel that phone can't be locked down to bad. Has anyone tried to flash the T-Mobile boot loader from fastboot?

be careful and don`t try this. in the lg-g3 irc channel our only-hope-devs where afraid to do this because it could brick your phone forever.
i remember they said it is 50:50 chance it may work or it will destroy your device. i would be afraid to play the roulette with a expensive device like this.
this was the last info i had seen some weeks / months ago, maybe now they would say it is a 100% chance of perma brick!

Do you notice a REAL difference in speed? Not just "I THINK it's faster".
Also, could you, or anyone using this, record when they use their phone? Would be lovely.

It doesn't have Gapps, so i can't download any record screen software ;/ tried SRC but it FC. It really faster.

could it be that i may of installed the wrong gapps?
Well i came to the conclusion thats installing the gapps was where i was going wrong. I now have it working and keyboard works fine now trial and error prevailed prob risky but hey figured it out in the end. I now have CM10 4.1 running on it if there any known issues maybe someone out there (if there is anyone besides me lol) would b kind enough to tell me and maybe advise me on another ROM or a better ROM to try. I just want to get a really good look and feel to my already great nexus 7. Kind Regards Sirus2012

Probably not spam. Translation maybe?
If you try flashing CM10 and you can't accomplish anything because your keyboard is force closing, it's probably your gapps.
You need the 4.1 gapps, not 4.2. CM10 is not 4.2.
That is all.
yeah..check your version..
google helps

[ZIP FLASH] Bypass And Unlock Any Android Lock Screen

My idea is to replace the lock screen data with an empty null data
and the phone will be restored to basic slide to unlock
and from here, you can access your phone and insert new password or pin or pattern...etc
without format or modify any data "settings, media, apps, Rom data ..etc"
So what is it ?
It's a zip file that bypass any unlock screen
-Pattern
-Pin
-Password
-Face
How
Just flash it with CWM
[BACKUP FIRST]
Why to use it?
So you forgot you pass? no need for format..
just download it on external SD-Card then flash it CWM
Happy bypass guys :good:-

Hmmm. The rom works flawlessly, apart from Bluetooth audio. Music plays in slow motion and off-key, with stuttering.
I tried fixing it myself, but I absolutely don't know what I'm doing. I tried replacing all libaudio.so's with the ones from a working CM11 rom, but that only caused a bootloop

You have to submit a ticket in the xperifix website. What is your firmware version, you will find it in settings/about phone.
Newflasher won't help you, it's for flashing whole firmware files to your phone, nothing to do with drm issues.

This is how I handled mine with XZ1 via newsflasher. I was getting no focus and camera button would not work. Check the thread I wrote describing my fix but I used drmfix from @janjan vs storm's xperifix. The result should be the same however.

This is by far the most complicated bootloader unlocking I’ve come across. Worse than lg. Disappointing.

Perhaps it's now time to consider alternate ROMs instead of dealing with stock issues after bootloader unlock.
