Hello everybuddy, im using an AT&T unlocked s5 on tmobile. Im rooted and have safestrap installed and am wondering if there is anyway to use a cm theme on my stock rooted. I have xposed and HKtheme didnt work so I would like to know if there is a work around. Also would I be able to install the offical CM rom for the sprint s5 or the T-Mobile stock rom. The tmobile rom has wifi calling thats why im interested in that one and CM for obvious reasons. Please let me know

You want to use theme manager themes on touchwiz? Not possible for many reasons. Its not recommend to install cdma carrier roms on our gsm devices AFAIK.

Is there a GS5 ROM for the Sprint GS4?
I've been looking around and all the other variants have some kind of GS5 ROM.
and if not is there a theme that I can flash to make my GS4 Look more like a GS5?

You can use sacs v4 ROM with s5 settings. It includes s5 icons and the s5 launcher plus s5 MMS.

None of Sac's roms V3 or V4 work on Sprint SPH-L720, tested by me. I was able to installed Version 3 and boot to it but Wi-Fi radio On/Off function does not work, Screen Mirroing does not work NFC does not work...useless. after all credit to Sac23 for his dedication and hard work to the community. hope next version is better and fixes all the bugs.

Could also be user error really. Did you make sure you are at the latest firmware? Follow step by step on how to install? Also recovery plays a big role now so yeah.

Yes, I have TWRP 2.7.1 installed, My phone is rooted using Towelroot. I have installed many rooms just to try, (this is my spare test phone) I was happy with results look and feel of only two (PhoeniX.ROM.V9.XXUGNF1.I9505.FIXED.by.tamirda) and (i9505 - S5 RivalStorm V2.1) but both only allow Radio/Modem for CDMA and are both international.
RivalStorm V2.1 seems to be the best room out of 5 or 6 I have tried, this room has every feature working and has the look and feel of the S5, that being said I will try your recommendation anyways and will post back my results, I did tried it before but I could not get it installed using TWRP, maybe I should use CWM instead.
But honestly I would be very happy to see RivalStorm V2.1 rom being domestic (US Carier...Any)

Sacs V4 works flawless on my L720. Do you have the 720T? Are you on the NAE build? if not, it is highly recommended you flash that version then follow the OP to the T.
So the reason why I even wanted to get a ROOT access to my galaxy S5 for verizon is to really be able to put a custom ROM on my machine such as Omega ROM. But I cannot seem to find any anywhere that are specifically for 900V. Can anyone provide me with a sense of direction or a link or two?
Thanks much!

Well, unfortunately you're going to have to wait for awhile. Even through you can now root the retail version of the S5, there is no custom recovery as of yet, so you can't flash a custom ROM. The retail version of the Verizon S5 has a locked bootloader with no know exploit at this time. Hopefully someone will find an exploit for the bootloader or a version of SafeStrap will be developed that works on the S5, but even at that you will only be able to flash Touch Wiz based ROMS with SafeStrap. That is why you can't find a ROM for the retail version of the Verizon S5.

I wonder about safestrap. It seemed to burn almost half the storage of my 32gb Note 3. This 16gb s5 is gonna be tricky..we'll have no room for apps

One click HOTSPOT
Below is a link to an app that will unlock the hotspot with the stock ROM - I haven't been able to find a custom ROM or recovery for the gs5 sport (sm-860p) mostly because I don't think many devs have one yet - i've been talking to the dev of this app and they are really helpful!

I'm looking at getting the sport, were you able to use the same firmware as the normal s5 when rooting?

ANYONE KNOW OF ANYTHING ELSE I CAN DO WITH MY SM-860P??? got the hotspot, looking to mod the toggles and quick settings, kernels, roms, ANYTHING PLEASE!
So I just switched from T-Mobile to AT&T and I'm thinking about getting a Galaxy S5. I plan on rooting it, and installing safestrap, but I can't *stand* TouchWiz - are there any ROM's that don't have TouchWiz as the base and are based on something else? It seems a bit confusing - I know that there are no AOSP/CM based ROM's for the S5 (AT&T Version), and yes, I know I can install Nova Launcher or something, but all the ROM's I see seem to just look like TouchWiz but maybe de-bloated. Thanks in advance....
No, locked bootloader prevents it, touchwiz base only.

Hi I'm new to the forum so if I'm doing this the wrong way I apologies. What I have is a Verizon Note 3 phone that I had flashed to work with Stright Talk service. I want to go to a custom Rom but if I do it will it effect the Stright Talk settings?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ed
No clue what your flashing since I had no issues with stock and straight talk. When I flash darklord rom android 6.0.1 I had to do some root file copies but pretty easy stuff.
Which rom so you want to use is the biggest thing we need to know to help

Macgyver40 thanks for replying to my question,I was thinking about using the CyanogenMod rom, unless you recommend some thing else, the only thing that's done to my phone is its unlocked and rooted, I need a help with a bootloader and where to get the right rom and of course how to do the root file copies Thanks
I used flashify to put twrp on my phone. Currently using 2.8.7 since darklord rom needs it. There is a good cm rom in general section. Updated a lot too. I use my spen so no cm for me.
