I need some help. A while ago I was having issues with the mic on my LG G Watch so I decided to send it to them and see if they could fix it. I just got it back now and they said they replaced a chipset in the watch or something and now the mic seems to be working. The issue now is when I got it back from them, the watch has seemed a bit buggy. And I keep coming across this hidden menu of debug type tests and things. So I went into the about device section of the watch and something didn't seem right.
It said:
Software version:
KKWT
Build number:
platina-userdebug KKWT
OPENMASTER
eng.yjyj.kim.20140818.1125
39 test-keys
This doesn't seem like what I though it should say normally. So I tried factory resetting the watch and after I got it set up again, I went into the settings and nothing was different.
Any ideas on how I can revert this back to the correct version of android wear or something?

Hello,
I am getting a 1 second sound delay effecting menu and all apps after the device is left on over night, tried factory resetting and with and without sleep mode. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have a solution for me?
Thanks
I was going to say the same thing. I have random one second lag in YouTube (rarely), BSDroid (always), but not in Plex or Kodi. The problem is fixed by pausing in YouTube and jumping forward on BSDroid. It's a big pain as these issues don't affect the chrome cast I have on the same TV and network.
I don't have to wait, it's pretty much out of the box. I have tried stock 5.1.1, rooted 5.1.1, CM12 nightlies, and all AOSP roms available. I feel like it's an issue with the Google Cast app? I'll try 5.1 and see if the situation changes tomorrow.
I haven't even bothered rooting mine yet, as this issue goes right down into the system. Even moving around the menu their is a 1 second delay in the sound. Only goes away with a reboot.
I think I may have found my issue, it seems that when I put the TV into PC mode to fix the overscan I get this sound lag after the TV turns off and then back on again. still troubleshooting it though.
Waited a while to get some new nightlies out and still the same problem. Tried 3 different TVs, all casted audio is delayed and has to be reset. Guess i have a junker now
Hey guys! I am not able to listen to music or open youtube videos or even do anything related to output of audio of my phone. On Google play music, I get "Couldnt pay tax requested" and on youtube I get playback error. I am not able to make calls as well.
I have flashed numerous images and the issue still persists. If anyone could guide me towards the right direction that would be great.
I bought the phone 7 months ago and suddenly this incident took place. I was running stock 7.1.2 when this happened by the way
Thank you for the help.
First of all, 7.1.2 is a Beta stage not a release.
Second, If you can have sounds on other options such as ringtones and so on, then it is an OS issue and a clean flash might solve it.

Thank you for the reply.
No sound from Ringtone as well. Like no audio is playing on my phone at the moment.

So how can you tell if it isn't a hardware issue and not Android problem?
I haven't heard of what you are describing as being a known bug in 7.1.2. You can try a factory restore but personally I would do a clean flash of the latest stable Google image and see if it fixes your problem. And I would use the flash-all.bat command like Google suggests rather than flash all the parts individually like the Heisenberg guide on XDA tells you to do. I don't suppose you are running any audio mods on your phone? And you checked the obvious? Your phone isn't in Airplane Mode, Do Not Disturb isn't activated, sound shows the various volume levels aren't at 0?
Having same issue, no audio at all from speakers, cant play youtube / googleplay music or videos, headphone jack does not work eighter, wont even detect the headphones, soft reset/ hard reset wont work, havent tryed out rooting and changing rom or reverting from 8.0 (currently running), apart form audio everything works fine, im still trying to figure out warranty as its still in its period, but without proof of purchase they are beeing jerks so far, so im rooted with some ideas is ive had previous experiences with phones, might it be possible for audio drivers to go missing or messed up? or should i take it to a repair shop and see how much theyll ask for it? or shuld i just upgrade to something better and let this brave hero die alone, maybe use as hotspot in my car haha
Good morning XDA,
Situation: My Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910A) died. Wouldn't turn on or anything, got a replacement N910A and it wouldn't register on the network or anything. NOW i have a SM-N910P board with a custom ROM running MM but unfortunately whenever i try to make a call it freezes the phone and restarts it. Can the original MM ROM be loaded to resolve this issue? How can this be resolved?
Current device:
Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Model: SM-N910P
Baseband version: N910PVPU4DPH4
Build Number: MMB29M.N910PVPU4DPH4
Could someone point me in the right direction to resolve this issue ASAP.

So i came across something very interesting. I was doing a hard reset, got into recovery mode and saw this...
Android Recovery
MMB29M.N910PVPU4DPC1
why is recovery mode saying something dif from whats in the device config re Build/baseband ???!!!???
Still unable to make/receive call.
It could be your phone app. Try setting it as default calling app in settings. If you can't, try another phone app, like the Asus Zen phone app.
My Note 2, running MM had the same issue but I managed to solve that issue my playing around with some 3rd party phone app.

Naw i tried many apps before and got ntn, and by ntn i mean the same rebooting issue, it's useless as is rn
Turn network to 2g only....I mean GSM only...
Have you tried setting the phone app as the default app? In settings - app - configure app - default app
I searched around and it seems to be a pretty common issue with cm13. I did both the setting the phone app as the default app and changing around the phone app and it seems to work so far for my phone
I know this is an old thread, but I was recently given a Note 4. I'd like to give it to my son to use, but it's having the same issue. It reboots when it receives or makes a call. It does have an aftermarket battery, do you think that would have anything to do with it?
Maybe it has issues with other apps
On my phone the same thing happens, I realized that being in ultra energy saving mode does not have that problem so I intuit some application installed on my phone is having conflict with the call application, disable a call recording application and I was able to make the call without restarting the phone, this may be the problem even though I have to comment that before I had no problems with the recordings of the calls.
Hello.
My friend got a nexus 6p one year ago. One month ago he started to have problem. He was on stock rom
-First when he pressed the touch screen he heard small weird noises (hard to describe)
Then progressively :
-Speaker stopped working
-he could not play youtube video in you tube app : a weird error message (every time different) appeared. Gallery videos don't work as well
-But weirdly enough video played in the web browser including youtube videos, works, still without sound.
-He cannot make calls
-Jack plug doesn't works either, but he can use his Bluetooth headphones
We tried to install a custom rom (lineage os). We succeeded, but the above problem appeared again.
Then we flashed the factory image https://developers.google.com/android/images for nexus 6p. We also succeed but the above problem appeared again.
Thanks in advance for your help

The 6P has two speakers, and they wouldn't both fail at the same time. Sounds like he's damaged the phone somehow. The audio jack and speaker output both not working seem to back this up. I've seen the headphone jack part available separately, and there are guides available to replace it. Before flagging it as a hardware issue and opening the phone up, you want to make sure you wiped the phone completely by formatting the partitions (system, userdata, cache) and use the flash-all.bat included with the full Google image. There is a remote chance it is software related, but I doubt it.
You could always flash a custom kernel, use a kernel manager app to turn off the large core cpu and see if the problems go away. If they do its related to the build problem that causes the 6P to boot loop but those particular symptoms aren't familiar. It's still worth a try if flashing the stock image doesn't fix the problem.

You mean disabling the big CPU ?

Yes. You can always turn it back on but turning it off apparently fixes the permanent boot loop problem on the Nexus 6P. If the problems you are describing are related to the same build problem then turning it off might make them go away. Sometimes people's phones would start acting odd before going into the permanent bootloop. That phone could be on its way there.
this is purely a guess but the problem may be hardware related with the headphone jack. it could have a physical short somewhere. if thats the case the device may think a headphone jack is being used and wont play through speakers because its being told its plugged in. But wont play because of some physical short or an open.
Hey guys, recently got an Android head unit for my 2008 GTI, and while it was working well enough for the first couple days, today the bluetooth suddenly stopped seeing any device. Nothing shows up in the bluetooth menu and it just searches endlessly. I did a factory reset, and surprisingly it not only fixed the bluetooth issue, some other stuff started working like the car info app. But the fix was short lived as later in the day the bluetooth issue came back, not able to detect anything.
I have done as much searching as I could, but it is difficult with how fragmented these Chinese units are, and how they are so similar but slightly different. I have read that it may be possible to flash different MCU versions but would like confirmation before i try anything. Here is all the info I can get about mine, first this is the one I bought:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XY2C1WC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Model: px3 (1024x600)
Android Version 7.1.2
Kernel version: 3.0.101+
MCU Version: MTCD_ZYC_v2.55_1 June 23 2017
CPU Arm Cortex A9
Any help would be appreciated, I got Android Auto working and its awesome, but not having bluetooth for calls is a deal breaker for me...
I messed with the stereo tonight and got the bluetooth working again by simply pressing the small reset button that seemed to actually power cycle the device. I also decided to disable the backup camera mode as I dont plan on installing the camera any time soon, so I cut the wire labeled backup and that seemed to do the trick as now when it is put in reverse, it doesnt load up that blank screen. Strangely enough though, when using Android Auto through Headunit Reloaded, it still went blank when put into reverse, like it can still tell. And when the video comes back it had artifacts all over the screen, but only in that program.

You only had to go to factory settings and set no reverse camera without cutting anything

I looked through the factory settings and could not find anything related to the backup camera
