Hello all, I installed CM11 Nightlies on a SM-900W8. Apparently CM11 should have the IR Blaster drivers, but no app works with it. Any idea if I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks!
I would like to know the same the ng for the lg g2 ls980

I can only speak for my N9005, but it works, both with the watch on app as well as with others...

I found the quickremote.zip file and flashed it to over and that worked for me.
BTW quick remote is the stock remote app for my lg g2

As you can see, I have a LG G2 d803 (Canadian variant) right now and I would like to flash a cyanogenmod 11. Should I go for the international version or the att version? Thanks

Have you checked to see if the device is compatible with on cm website because I could only find model d800, d801 and d802. Also you need to be s-off for some roms if need but usually rooted will be fine

Hello I have LG G2 D800 on Cyanogen Mod 4.4.2 kit kat. I've herd that split view from the LG Flex has been ported over. Has anyone got it working on CyanogenMod?
bump.....
It'll only work on stock-based roms. But omniRom also has their own split view, you could try that.

Hello All,
Question:
Will the LG G2 (on Sprint in the USA) function with the Google Wallet Tap&Pay system?
Looking for positive confirmation one way or the other to that question, no theory.
Thank you.
When KitKat comes out, yes. Right now, no.

Thanks SmiLey497,
And when is the word that KitKat will be available? And is KitKat an OS that all G2 users, (regardless of carrier) will be able to upgrade to?
With my G2, I'm currently running 4.2.2, (software ver. LS980ZV8)
Thanks for your help

It's also confirmed that you can use it in custom KitKat roms. I'm currently running the Mahdi 4.4.2 rom and have used it at gas stations.

Hi Drift240,
And how does one get a custom KitKat rom?
It's nice you can use the Tap&Pay system with your G2.
I would have thought that LG would have thought about this when developing the G2. Nothing worse than having the latest and greatest device that doesn't function with a several year old technology like Tap&Pay.
Thanks Drift240
Hi there I'm running rooted stock 4.2.2 and want a rom that is closest to the look and feel of a nexus 5 but still has features such as LG remote and KnockOn while also have the always listening 'okay Google' feature of the nexus 5/Moto X. What are my options? Help would be much appreciated!

Paranoid Android 4.0 is probably about the closest you'll get to KitKat. It doesn't appear to have the always listening feature, but it's a great ROM. I think it's the closest thing you can get to a stock Nexus 5 without actually buying the N5.
CM 11.

CM11 is the correct answer. PA has a bunch of add-ons, as does Mahdi.

Any ideas on why I am having issues with LG G2 d800 rooted and unlocked using TWRP to flash some ROMS? I can flash...
CleanROM-SE-2.0
CyanogenMod 10.2
CyanogenMod 10.2.0-RC1-d800
with no problems, but when I try just about any other ROM, I get a red "failed" almost immediately after starting the flash.
Thank You!

Not true, Houstons PA builds have less customisation than CM11, yes in the future PA will have more than cyanogen (as it has before) but at the minute, PA is nearly stock, apart from helpful kernel tweaks.

Ok what version of TWRP do you have installed. TWRP 2.6.3.2 has problems Fashing 4.4 ROMs and will say failure I know because the same thing happens to me. But if you upgrade to TWRP 2.6.3.3 you should be able to flash 4.4 ROMs no problem.

Awesome, I'll give that a shot.
Thx
Thanks for the replies both PA and CM look great, I have no problems with either of them, the thing is I still want
some of the stock LG features like KnockOn (And Off) and QuickRemote as well as compatibility with the LG cover for the phone.
Is it possible to have all of this in a rom?
I have KK firmware at now (Vodafone), and didn't rooted..
if I Install CM11, I can install the Two KK Apps?
A little more info are you on stock kk right now(I'm guessing you have a d802 since you are on Vodafone) there's no root for kk yet so that also means no recovery(d802 that is). To install cm11 you need to back to 4.2.2 and also what two apps are you talking about
