Good review! If you go to device options/serial number and tap on serial number you can get developer options.

Whats the bluetooth quality like on these? The Fire phone is terrible since they didn't change the bitrate for SBC encoding. It was set too low in Jelly Bean but was fixed in KitKat. Since the new FIre OS is based on 4.4 I imagine its all good now.

Hi everyone I've upgraded from a Motorola Xoom running honeycomb to a new nexus 7. I use it a lot for media and one of the sites I used to use was fastpasstv which needed flash. I know we don't have flash on jellybean and I have also tried the work around in other topics these work of sorts but doesn't have sound for the flash movies.
So was wondering are there any HTML sites which we can use on the nexus 7 to stream movies n TV.
Thanks

Install Aurora, or Boat, or Xscope, the 3 browsers that play flash well.
You can still side load flash and it works fine that way.

Basically I want the YouTube apk just before the 10 inch tab revamp. I like the old 10 inch but on the n7 the new one doesn't fit on screen properly.

New layout is horrible especially on a 10 inch screen. Also it no longer has a full screen button.
Just open up the app in settings and click on uninstall updates to get the old one back.

Another app to add to the "Do not Update" list along with BBC News and Dolphin Browser where the Updated versions are not as good as the originals.
Do people who designs these things actually think about anything they do? Horrendous update.

Is there anyway way at all to mirror out to a tv? I want to see what's on my nexus on my TV. I have been reading for almost 3 hours doesn't look like you can. Please help. I know Samsung cords dont work because n7 doesn't support mhl at all, miracast probably won't happen to us at least any time soon, nexus q will only stream your videos and not mirror whats on ur screen, and there's some thing pi rasp idk exactly what's its called. Is there anything that works? Sorry there's probably a thread about this I scrolled down for 10 mins and didn't find one. I will update my first post with any findings to help anyone easier.
Thanks everyone!

too much trouble for me to do though
There is if you have an AppleTV, it's called AppleTV Air Play Media Player by Zappotv and it's in the Google Play Store. It's pretty cool it uses Apple's Air Play protocol to send your Nexus screen's picture or video to your big screen TV.

Has anyone found a good Facebook tablet app that looks nice on the Nexus 10? I'm fed up of Facebook giving us a disgusting upscaled phone app.

I use friendcaster but it doesn't have a polished look, it's just practical.
Most of the time I end up with the website version.
I'm wondering this too, the fb app is terrible on here

Friendcaster is probably one of the better apps for Facebook.
Offers duel pane viewing, color change, etc
Basically it's tablet optimized unlike the official facebook app.

Flipboard does the job for all your social networks. Looks great on the large resolution.

Where's Friendster I can't find it, all I get is some gaming app when I search for it in Google play.

I use Flipboard also. I like that it is kind of a one stop shop for things I want to read. You have social networks, news sources, and the like. Plus the app is quite polished.
That's friendcaster not friendster

Your typical WXGA-resolution screen, good viewing angles, good color reproduction.
The screen on the KFHD is probably the best out there right now. I did a lot of research before deciding which tablet to but based on how I would use it. For me the audio and screen needed to be top-notch and this delivers.
