Status:
The unit is on CWM 6.06, and stuck on bootloop but we can still access recover. The device is unreadable thru PC since we don't have the usb driver
[Info] We are unable to find the 'usb device driver' for Nexus 7 (3g) (Mobile) without going thru Android SDK tool.
sadly, It is impossible for us to install the SDK tool.
[Q] Where can we get the usb driver for Nexus 7, so we can at least use another custom rom with root to fix this issue
[Q] Any custom rom recommendation, with built in root?
[Info] I think that we bricked the tablet with using a incompatible custom rom or such. We did the usual flashing, delete user data, cache, dalvik etc and since the flash failed. We are stuck on a tablet without a rom.

UPDATE
So we managed to discover the device using Devices and Printers in Control Panel and it was listed under Unspecified devices

We tried to update the driver via automatic update & manual update using adb
Unfortunately the tablet is still unrecognizable

I finished flashing a nightly version of CM10.1.2 and its GAPPS and after flashing and rebooting (cleared caches) it seemed that all my antenna stopped working, I was not able to turn on wifi, bluetooth, or connect to my cellular network. For that reason I connected my Nexus 4 to my PC downloaded the files there and tried to copy them over to my phone. I opened the "Nexus 4" folder on my PC and found two "Internal Storage" folders:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
.
Going into Internal Storage folder I only saw a "system" (no Downloads, or Android etc. etc.).
.
Going into System I tried to put the files there anyways and I got this error:
.
I don't know how I can transfer the 4.2.2 Gapps and CM10.1.2 onto my phone without WiFi or without my computer able to transfer these files to my phone via USB.
Help.
man I had the exact same problem with the latest CM nightly just today. If you go into settings -> about -> baseband it probably says "Unknown", hence all your radios not working.
To get Gapps and CM10 files on your phone in your situation use the ADB Sideload function in your recovery. Both CWM and TWRP support it.
Code:
adb sideload <file>.zip
EDIT: this is apparently a known issue with the latest nightly. Flash a previous build or wait for a new one.
Hello.
I hope you guys can help me with this problem. I have a Nexus 7 3G that's stuck on boot logo after i attempted to flash a patch via CWM.
now the tablet won't boot up and it's stuck on the boot logo of "OmniROM"
my bootloader is unlocked
problem now is i don't have the ROM zip file on my internal storage and i didn't backup before installing the patch. i know it's stupid :/
so my problem now is that i can't flash my ROM again and i can't send it to my internal storage to flash it.
I tried to sideload it but my PC (running Windows 8.1) just can't displays it like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I already downloaded the latest Android SDK, and i installed what i think is relevant, it looks like this:
isn't that right?
then when i try to sideload via CWM and and run the "adb devices" command is doesn't display my device and it looks like this:
So now i am stuck. I can't sideload or send the ROM file to my external storage and i don't know what else to do.
Last time the device worked it was running Android 4.4.2 and i am NOT sure wether i had Usb debugging on or off.
Thanks in advance for your help and sorry for my poor English.
Thanks guys a lot. it freaking worked
And thanks a ton to " WugFresh" who made the incredible "Nexus Root Toolkit" that helped me get the drivers right and subsequently sideload my rom once again, and it worked !!
and thanks for everyone taking time to read this.

Provide detail file that u use for rooted and which recovery u install
As far as I know error 8200 is because of old version of SP Flash tool, download latest version of SP flash tool from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/5f5h3owa7s7y6g2/SP-Flash-Tool-v5.1352.01.zip
REMEMBER I DON'T HAVE THIS PHONE SO I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PHONE, I KNOW ABOUT CANVAS HD ONLY AND I USED SP FLASH TOOL NUMBER OF TIME ON CANVAS HD ONLY.
Hi all,
My Wife's tablet seem to be stuck in somesort of system update loop.
I can't seem to put it into recovery mode using
HOME + Volume up + POWER
I can put the tablet in DOWNLOAD mode using HOME + Volume down + POWER, but my PC does not seem to detect the tablet
Using OdinV3 3,14 with the Samsung USB drivers installed.
Is the tablet a lost cause or can i try something else to fix it?
Here is a screenshot what i see on the screen for a brief moment before it reboots.

=========== EDIT1:
So i was able to hook the tab to the PC using another cable i had lying arround, and i wanted to flash TWRP:
But reading the manual, it instruct me to enable OEM unluck in developer options. But this is something i cannot do because the device won't boot
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...overy-official-twrp-gtaxlwifi-galaxy-t3437666
What should i do?
=========================================
====Edit2
So I found me some firmware for my device from sammobile, I hope I can use Odin to flash this on the tablet
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-tab-a-2016/firmware/SM-T580/PHN/
=====
======EDIT3
So the flash process was stuck in hthe initialization phase for to long and I decided to unplug the device and try again. Now don't ask me why but this time the device automatically booted up in recovery mode and I was able to factory reset the device. It now boots up fine... Can someone explain what is going on? All seems fine now.
Kind regards,
Maniak
My Poco M3 Pro was not showing on the xiaomi batch unlock tool, I tried lots and lots of things. I followed https://developer.android.com/studio/run/oem-usb and thus downloaded the rar from here https://web.vip.miui.com/page/info/mio/mio/detail?postId=18464849&app_version=dev.20051 and extracted and tried to install with Windows Device Manager and got this:
Windows encountered a problem installing drivers for your device
Windows found drivers for your device but encountered an error while attemping to install them
Android ADB interface
The hash for the file is not present in the specified catalog file. The file is likely corrupt of the victim of tampering
I also tried running the batch unlocker as admin, tried installing the google usb driver from Android Studio, and tried re-entering fastboot mode many times, and with different cables

Well, I downloaded an older MiUi Unlock tool that is listed here: https://c.mi.com/thread-2262302-1-0.html. I tried this one http://miuirom.xiaomi.com/rom/u1106245679/4.5.514.47/miflash_unlock-en-4.5.514.47.zip and it has an option (in the gear settings icon) to install the drivers. I clicked on it, installed the drivers, and then gone back to the latest version of the unlock tool, and it recognized the phone!
PS: if this does not work try updating the MiUi to the latest one. I think the link he gave is for download the driver, but then you have to do into Device Manager, find your android device and install the driver for it. This step failed for me but anyways, worth a try. I've seen some people saying that this driver https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb worked but I could not add to my Android device in the Device Manager.
PS: still gotta wait for 168 hours and see if this will actually gonna work though
