If this is a CM11 super tweak, why don't you submit your changes to the CM11 team for inclusion instead of posting as a flashable zip?

[Roms] CM 7.2 Mod and X1 Elite with market. .32 kernels.

So, this is just the result of my messing around with these roms and tweaking where I see fit. They are both .32 franco kernel based and I flashed and tested both with CWM 5.0.2.6.
CyanogenMod Tweaked
First one is CyanogenMod 7.2 and owes everything to the amazing work by Ezet.
Original thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1527745 and tweaks are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1227269 Thanks to Ezet and Knzo
I have tweaked it by building a new kernel and editing the build.prop as well as adding other tweaks from elite rom by terramino. It also has bravia engine built in and a few apps removed. Seems smooth and a little sharper than before. Battery may end up being a little better too. Will have to see.
Get it here:

EliteRom X1 with Market
This is just Terramino's rom with the market put in by default. Original thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1475687. Thanks to Terramino for all your work.
I have also removed some apps. Why did this rom have three notepads? just download one you like from the market now.

What about a Custom Kernel?
Just for my experimentation, I have made a custom kernel. It has my smartass V2 mods, various other governer mods, SimpleIO enabled and default and a couple of other small tweaks. Just flash it and see what you think. If you want the old one back, just reinstall the rom. It seems very smooth and battery efficient to me.

latest version of the kernel:
http://www.mediafire.com/?zy6ach4rivnx82g
Has DZO led backlight mod for battery savings, smoothass and interactiveX, compiled against codesourcery toolchain with arm v7 optimisations and my governor changes. Just did 3630 on Antutu at 1.5ghz with minmax governer.
Thanks to DZO, Stockwell, Ezet, Franco and fjsFerreira for sources and helping me to understand where building was going wrong.
Superb Work Dude. Can You Please Upload This For U8800Pro And Add Some Screenshots Please.
Will add screenshots sometime, but I don't have a pro to test the rom with if I make a rom. Also which rom did you want me to mod for the pro?
Says SD card available - can't access any of my music or files.
Any clues, I've probably just missed something??

Got it sorted, did another set of wipes and it seems to be all good.
Looks like an excellent ROM - nice and smooth.
I've just come back from the .35 kernel which was too buggy for me and and loving this.
great stuff, glad you got it sorted.
Do you gonna update this when CM new releases/updates comes, or this is just one time project?
Also you said you did lot of modifications, but did you tested original ezet rom with yours and did you see any effect? Or something that tells you that your rom is somehow better? I'm just asking because of i want to try but if there is really no way of telling the difference than i will pass it to the next time
I will keep it up to date as Ezet updates his rom. I ran Ezet's rom for ages by my standards but I was just taken by the smoothness, battery life and camera of Mossterra's elite rom x1. I have tried to combine the best of both.
I have tested all the mods thus far except battery life as I only installed it two days ago and it all seems positive, faster and smoother. I put it up so if people thought it was ok, they could use it and feed back.
All I can say is give it a try and if you like it, keep it, if not, Ezet's CM 7.2 rom is fantastic still.
All the changes will be overwritten if you install ezet's rom over this one or vice versa. They are compatible without a full wipe, just wipe cache, dalvic cache and fix permissions after installing.
My last tiny little bug - I have disabled haptic feedback (in both Sound & Cyanogen settings), but I still get vibration when clicking any of the 4 menu buttons (back, menu, home, search).
Thoughts??
Disable in x5 settings maybe? im not sure, I normally have the opposite problem of trying to get haptic feedback on.

Which Apps have you removed from CM7?? - having some issues with the default email client - meaning I can't find it, and restoring backups isn't working for me.
heh... sorry, I removed it as I don't use it. Flashable zip now in first post with email.
Well, looks like I cant get init tweaks to stick so this rom is just bravia engine and some build.prop mods until I can figure out why.
OK, well new kernel is up, will be releasing a new rom with this kernel and some more tweaks and superuser updates as soon as I can get it to upload.
Still using and loving this rom - looking forward to the upgrade
Ok, New rom is up. New Kernel, updated superuser, set permissions for bravia engine correctly. Seems to work very well and smoothly for me.

I tried all cm11 based roms and roms that are not cm11 based, but are again 4.4.x. All of them were fast, but laggy and not smooth. Will these mods in the thread you made fix the problem and make the phone smooth as 4.3 or even better? Do I need williams kernel, because I tried it and it doesn't improve performance or smoothness. Can't I install mod 2 and 3 without william's kernel?
I need a decryption key to download the GPU performance booster.

these mods will fix the problem and make the phone as smooth as 4.3 ,if you really don't want to flash williams kernel you can just skip it

[GUIDE] How to get max smoothness from g3

Hello i sperimented everything on my g3 to get max performance and battery life, these are the guide to get max smoothness for g3.
First i use an aosp rom 5.1, then flash 777 kernel and download kernel adiutor and open it, and go to cpu settings and set cpu governor smartmax, then these parameters, then go gpu settings and set others parameters, if you got green screen dont edit cpu boost interval sync threshold.Enjoy best performance and battery life for g3.
update.tdt removed because caused bootloop for some, just tweak the smartmax governor and gpu gov
Could you experiment how to get smoothness and better battery on cloudy rom? [emoji4]
What sort of battery life are you getting? And could you please provide a bit more information on how this improves performance over standard CM/AOSP and stock ROMs? Thanks for your effort!

You want extreme performance..?? Then, you better stay with CM11. Been there, done that. Tried most of the ROMs and the conclusion is, for gaming and battery life, CM11 stands way ahead than other ROMs. AnTuTu scores with CM11 are >38k while other custom ROMs have <30k. Stock LP and KK has AnTuTu score ~22K
P.S. I'm a gamer too. Played asphalt, gta, nfs most wanted, nova 3, brothers in arms, wild blood, dead trigger, mc5,........,etc. and finally stuck with MC4 :silly:

As long as all the apps and features run perfectly, why will one need LP or MM. And yeah, all the credits goes to developers. Every other day, there is some new rom, kernel or something. They have made us able to get the most out of our device.
And, definitely MoStock with CM11 is a made for each other combo.
For MoStock on CM11 flash this.
WiFi bug solution by @opswiz
1) Download attached zip, extract and place file *01wlanon* to /system/etc/init.d/
2) Reboot and done!!
After this you would be able to use wifi without any problem. But you'll have to reboot each time you use wifi tethering (like in shareit and for other stuff). [You should better enable advanced power menu in developer options, then you can choose soft reboot in power menu, to reboot your phone in just 5-8secs]:silly:
But, for chappil's MoStock Kernel, its worth it.
You can try these customizations for CM11.
Here are the AnTuTu scores in CM11, MIUI7 and stock KK---

Alucard governer is suggested. But, I prefer interactive which has a balance of performance with good battery. Alucard, I found, lags a lot while gaming. And, I don't know how but performance of interactive is better even than performance Governor itself.
Use these settings
Governor - interactive
Min freq - 200
Max freq - 1209
CPU hotplug - msm hotplug (alucard hotplug is also okay)
I/O scheduler - fiops with 1024kb read ahead for internal and external memory
usb fast charge (use charger with more than 1A output for fast charge, more than 2A might harm your devive)
Misc controls - tcp congestion - westwood
Gpu - msm-adreno-tz
This is my configuration for good battery and performance.
P.S. Dont forget to check apply on boot section on each setting page.

[Guide] increase smoothness on 5x

Hello, main goal for this thread is tot share my experience and help others! Its not guaranteed it will work.
1. Keep it stock!
All of those tweaking scripts do more harm then good. Mainly the 'battery saving options' can bring alot of lagg while not increasing battery alot.. Its more Placebo.
2. Flash another ROM!
I went from CyanogenMod to Resurrection Remix. CM was alot smoother then EMUI. But after a few days animations started to lagg. A reboot was requiered to fix it temporary. Now on Resurrection Remix currently maintained by @jsbeyond doesnt have this issue. Atleast not for me. AOSP is a good solution too. But i like to keep my features and customization.
3. For Blaze Kernal users
Dont use sioplus as main i/o scheduler atleast not for internal. I found out that it does something weird regarding 'smoothness'..
4. An experimental tweak
Set i/o scheduler to cfq and read ahead cache to 128kb. I found out that it helps with the smoothness on the ui but mainly scrolling.
Thx for reading. Hope i helped someone share your opinions!
