I have a new lava iris 506Q about which there is no discussion on XDA ,which is rooted by me by framaroot. It works fine everything after root and using many rooted apps like system tuner, lucky patcher etc. But when I try to backup my device by ROM toolbox pro it state that there is no cwm recovery and reboots to my stock recovery where I can only backup the data. Then I googled for cwm recovery . And I got nothing about lava iris 506q. So I think to flash iris 504Q's cwm recovery . I did this by using "flashify pro" android flashing app It flashed it and reboots.
Then I checked whether it is done or not. When I want to reeboots to recovery by pressing home+volume.+power key it does not boots to recovery mode rather it boots to normal mode. Now I can use my android phone rooted smoothly but I Lost my stock recovery for which I can not restore and can not go to stock recovery and my phone is now restricted.
Please help. I know it was my fault to flash wrong recovery. But plz help I don't have any stock recovery but I have stock ROM of my device and my device is now rooted.
What can be done????? Plz help

I know your desperate for a fix but you might be wasting your time posting in here. The 504q forum is where you need to ask, maybe they can point you in the right direction.

Hi,
after rooting and before installing my first ROM I installed CWM
as my custom recovery and made a whole backup. Now using Cyanogenmod
for some time I decided to restore the Backup I made before, to install JB 4.3
Restoring worked fine but now, when trying to go into recovery mode
there is this red little bang with the green android guy. Also when I try using
apps that need root access they won't work even if fastboot mode says
my phone is unlocked. The root seems to be gone.
I tried installing CWM again using the N-Cry toolkit, but nothing changed.
Please, please help !

Hello, were you able to solve your problem?
Hello, were you able to solve your problem?
Which Custom recovery you tried to use?
I think you need to flash the phone using SPFlash tool but be careful there are many versions of spf tool and only version 3 works well.

Try with:
- Reboot Menu Widget
I tried to reboot to recovery didn't work, it shows black screen and remains stuck their, I tried to re-root my phone using oneplus2 toolbox, after running the bootloader unlock, my phone is not turning on, only going to FAstboot mode. I cannot root it even though oem unlock and usb debug was allowed, now I am stuck its not letting flash recovery or rom.
please help
Don't need to root again (root is for the ROM) your ROM or partitions are messed up, flash fastboot image without data partition using naman's ubrick guide

Wrong TWRP for your bootloader.... Come on people, start reading before doing ?
I tried to factory reset a custom ROM, got sent to TWRP then I can't reboot to system from there. Tried a clean install but to no avail. I've looked around on the internet and I think I have to reinstall stock ROM and then reinstall custom recovery and ROM, except if I were to install the stock ROM once again (with sp tools) I need my phone to be turned off, not in recovery mode. So how exactly should I proceed now?
EDIT: Managed to get rid of the TWRP bootloop by restoring from a stock nandroid I've found on the forums, coupled with flashing a stock recovery image using TWRP. Reunlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP all over again and then flashed custom ROM and Gapps. Everything running fine now.
