[Q] NG2 Flashlight toggle? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Has anyone here been able to make a working flashlight toggle using the NG2 SystemUI and SecSettings? I have repeatedly tried CNexus's flashlight toggle how-to guide without success.
If so I'd like to compare those two files against mine to see what I have been doing wrong. Trying to learn you see!

Built it for i9500 on NH4 if thats any help both samsung 4.4 code

Mobile Hotspot Toggle ???

Hey XDA members !!
I've searched ALL over and can't find how (or if possible) to add the native Mobile Hotspot to the toggle tray drop down??
The toggles in the app store I am familiar with, and I use "HotSpot Toggle", but I'd like it in the Notification / Toggle dropdown drawers ???
Anyone achieve this ??
Thanks
PS: Stock ROM, no Root, no custom recovery.....
Thanks!!!
If I recall, Beans 4 had it in the toggle menu.
I just flashed B5, and it's not there since I think the JE update broke the work around. If you're on I9 or J7, you can flash beanstown106's B4 ROM and have what you're looking for
Thanks! I'll check B4 out with some research then.... I just went back to stock and was looking for a stock solution, but I can flash again if that is the only way.
I'm just very dependent on the drop down drawer!!
.edit.

[Q] Missing Mobile Data and Flashlight/Torch Toggle

As it says in the tittle those toggles are missing in my phone and i couldnt find them when i try to edit them via settings any way to add them?
Technically they were never missing. As of 4.3 mobile data was removed. And flashlight is a custom ROM add on. Flash sacs it has both.

If you have root access you can try this method. However the sqlite editor app linked in the original post didn't work for me so I downloaded the one from the Play store. It took a couple of attempts but worked out in the end.
I'm on stock/rooted and noticed a widget for "assistive light" which turns on the torch.. anyone else have this?

Ironically, this appeared on the XDA portal, and it should just happen to solve your issue.
No bro
It doesnt change the view
It only adds some functions

If Chainfire's app won't do it for you, your options are few. Check to see if there is an Xposed module or else start editing system files.
Xposed not yet compatible with samsung
