Hi,
Really sorry if I'm re-treading ground.
I've soft bricked my D802T, I was running 4.4 and ran the Autorec (doh!).
Looking for a way out of the following:
Can run TWRP, but can't boot past the Optus boot screen. Tried wiping cache/dalvik, but does the updating apps and hangs. Don't have a saved recovery .
I can't get the USB to work to my computer as an external disk, but I did manage to run the LG Mobile Support tool (gadgetsacademy.com/restore-lg-g2-all-variants-stock-firmware)
Should I be "Upgrading recovery"? which might take me back to stock?
Sorry to go over something I'm sure has been covered, but I'm stressed out with this bricked phone!
Cheers,
Toby
Just download the latest D802T KDZ from here:
http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW130506432109876543213/D802T20D_00.kdz
Then follow this guide to go back to stock:

Hi everyone,
I am having issues with this phone of mine. Here is a background of it:
My phone is rooted and is running rayglobe rom. I tried updating the update that it gave me and made me stuck in bootloop.
Now I downloaded another rom, which I don't remember since this happened december 2013. after flashing, it does not boot and does not make me go to TWRP anymore. Now I tried using download mode to restore my phone. but eveytime I try to flash (using the 2 methods I saw in the thread), either it hangs at 49% or the other one does not start flashing because it says I have inconsistent dll? I downloaded a D802 stock rom and tried flashing via download mode and it says that I have different model (F380K). Now I tried downloading a dll and F380K stock rom, but won't allow me because it says that my phone is D802. But when I go to download mode it is korean and it says F380K.
I think I have flashed a korean rom before which made this incident happen, but do you have any idea how I can restore this?
Thank you all in advance.
If this was me, I would do a factory reset.
sounds like you should go back to stock firmware.

First check what exactly phone model in Internet Browser. Then download TOT and flash back to stock.

I faced similar problem with D800. I had the correct dll and the firmware but it failed saying my phone model was different (I think its because I tried the "upgrade recovery" option on the LG PC software by selecting a different model).
My phone was passing the LG screen and stuck at android boot screen.
What I did:
Pushed a kitkat based rom for D800 to sdcard using adb on Linux (on windows adb failed to recognise the device).
Then adb reboot recovery and flashed the rom.
Then I was able to flash the factory image.
recently, I rooted my phone and after that I updated via software-updater and it rebooted. finally , it had an error ''boot certification invalid'' and after that I install twrp on my device and tried to backup everything(also efs) and it went right. I have a backup but after that I wipe everything (also efs) and i wanted to try to install d802 stock rom via zip files on the forum and all wipe is ok and i went to reboot recovery after that my phone's motherboard has a debug. Guarantee service said me : '' there is problem motherboard software and we can't repair it. You should change motherboard '' .
What is your advice for the problem? Do I need to go to another guarantee service ?
Sorry, my bad english....
it seems your motherboard's hardware is fine since you're able to do all the things you mentioned and the phone boots to recovery, I think it's a firmware issue.
I would try to force the phone in download mode and flash a stock .kdz file through the Lg firmware utility.
you should find all files and instructions on the xda forums.

thanks for your help...
same problem
i have the same problem with you and i dont know what i can do
How to go back or downgrade from CM11 or PA4.4 to the LG stock Jelly Bean ROM?
The device has CWM and is rooted (if that helps in any procedure).
I heard using KDZ may brick it.
I couldn't find safe instructions after a quick search so I'm asking here to speed up things. I'll do more research myself and if I find out how to do it safely I'll get back here to answer the topic.
PS. No deal-breaker problems in either ROM but the phone will be used by someone else who wants LG stock ROM. <insert that smiley hitting the head in the wall>
Just flash correct KDZ and problem solved phone will return to stock. After flash make HARD RESET and phone will boot with no problem.
There's a flashable stock zip in Android Development section
Ok, let me just leave the topic answered. KDZ didn't recognize the phone at all and I was unable to enter that yellow emergency mode.
This is what I've done:
Downloaded one of szymel00's modified stock zips (couldn't find an original one): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2335287
Via recovery, formatted all partitions except SD Card and installed it.
Now KDZ could recognize it and flash the stock ROM. After that reset to factory defaults via key combination and reboot. :good:
Hey!
Fortunately, everything else works. I have TWRP recovery, ROM installed and boots up. But I have some problems with LTE so I decided to go back to stock, when I discovered, It just wont go into download mode... How is that even possible?
LG G2 D802, Blisspop LP installed with 30d bootstack.
Someone told me to install that bootstack to fix LTE problem, it still didn't fixed anything, but might it damage download mode somehow? What should I flash/ADB to repear it?
Guys is there anything I can do to fix?
Thanks in advance

It's the bootstack that breaks download mode. You'll need to use the TOT method.

Follow the instructions in the OP. However, first flash any stock based ROM from TWRP. Then proceed loading the appropriate .dll and .tot file, click the yellow arrow without the phone connected. Wait. Hold vol up and connect the phone, download mode won't work and the phone will proceed to boot, however the flash tool will recognize the phone and restart it working download mode. It did for me.
Good luck.
Hi everyone, I perhaps kill my old lg g2 [R.I.P], but maeby you find a solution for that. This is my story.
Today I want to install MIUI 8 so i download one .zip file from this forum. Like always i do full wipe and then install ROM. everything be normal, ROM be installed and i started setting my new OS. After few sec, i can't go thought the setting cuz there be a error. I decided to reinstall system one more time, and this is that moment when I know I f**k up. Off my phone, wanna on TWRP and then i see i can't do anything, phone stuck in LG logo.
Any ida what to do?
Thanks for all ideas.
Maybe go back to a stock ROM and start over? This thread may be helpful in getting back to stock: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
The thread helped me go from Cloudy 3.2 to stock MM on a d802.

Right so I'm facing two problems with going back to stock method:
1) as i said, the phone won't boot up on flashing ANY version of d802 firmware (I've observed that in lg flash tool, where you flash tot files, shows that the phone's model number is d802at. So I'll try flashing a d802at fw for the last time and see if it works)
2) i try to flash an ls980 fw, the flash tool gives a model number error. (If flashing d802at fw doesn't work, then i guess i have to modify the hex data in the ls980zve.tot file and force flash it on the phone)
I'll give you an update after something has happened.
@ audit13 it is work!!! Thanks for your help! And I have one last question, I still have root acces and TWRP installed?
Glad it worked
You should be back to stock recovery and no root.
