Everyone please take a moment to read.

Hi everyone,
I have just got myself a galaxy nexus so i just wanted to take a moment to so a huge thank you to EVERYONE here at XDA in the galaxy s forums.
You guys have made these last 2 years so much better than they would have been otherwise.
Thank you to all the Devs for their hard work and for keeping this 2 year old phone competing with the best.
Thanks to all the helpful users here as well. Its a great community here for the sgs and i think its unrivaled by any other device.
Anyways thanks again to everyone who helped me and for all the roms i have flashed over the years ( which is a hell of a lot ).
Bye guys and thank you.
not much point in answering this anyway, but...
wrong thread!

Thanks to the Devs and Users here

Just wanted to thank you guys personally to all you that have helped me and others here on the Nexus S threads, and to those who make ROMs all the time constantly improving our phones.
I haven't had any major issues with my Nexus S but I have had one scare with my Nexus 7... unfortunately their community on XDA seems much less willing to help noobs like myself. I haven't gotten replies about any of my questions posted in the Nexus 7 threads yet here on Nexus S ones you guys have been most helpful to me.
Thank you all and I think that is on behalf of us all. We were all new to our device at some point
KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL WORK :good:
Try the trinity thread. I know morfic and others are willing to help out very friendly people.

About roms

Hey guys what about if insertcoin (by bad news)realeses a rom for samsung galaxy note2 ? As we all now hi did a great job in samsung galaxy s3. Plz post your thoughts and if you like this idea hit the thanks button .
I think that every development must be encouraged.
However i think we don't care that much for NoteII releases in this subforum
since this is about the note1
LOve his releases ..he was using the name baadnewz earlier. People at HTC Desire remember his GB releases. his thread gets a bump even after 2 yrs, is it ? very stable.
very much welcome here if he should decide to

Hi,
I've had a HTC Incredible S and just got a Google Nexus 4. This phone looks awesome already. I was wondering, what's the difference between 'Android Dev' and 'Original Android Dev'?
Thanks.

Welcome to the Nexus 4 section, @Incredible2011.
I have a little request in the beginning. Kindly, take your future questions to Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.
Coming over to your query, here is the answer.
Android Development is a sub-section which comprises of ROMs/Kernels/Mods and tweaks which are not self-compiled or developed, or are usage of some other developer's work. It mostly contains Stock modified/tweaked ROM, Kernels and enormous minimal tweaks.
While, Original Development is a sub-section area where all the actual ROM/Kernel/Mod development goes. Everything that is worked out by the developer himself shall be posted there. You will find all the source compiled ROM/Kernels like CyanogenMod, ParanoidAndroid, AOKP, Franco's Kernel etc in this section.

Hi, I'm Memento and I am delighted to participate in this great community recognized internationally
Greetings from Spain
Nexus 4 community is getting bigger each day
Its good there are so many new members, just wished people would read and search more themselves instead of asking/posting even the most basic things. Read the stickies and the OP`s of the kernel/rom you want to flash. None the less welcome you all
Thanks all for clearing that up and for the warm welcome. I hope to be helpful in any way I can and hope to learn from you all!
