Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-I337M from the Canadian service provider, Fido. From what I've read i need a custom ROM that is compatible with for my phone or I might end up bricking my phone. Can I use any SGH-I337 custom ROM or can I use the rogers ROM's one with the same model as mine? I've been reading about cyanogenMOD and Omnirom would i be able to use one of those?

NO.
Here you can find custom roms for SGH-M919 http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2283
You will brick your phone for sure...be careful
whew, thanks for the response guys! only reason I asked was because I have a t-mobile specific s4 and will be going to new zealand and didn't know if the phone (unlocked) would work properly there or not while using the t-mobile specific roms.
Hi guys
I have question.I'm grom Europe and bought SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 SPH-L720 for my friend witch rom cyanogenmod 11 nightly. I prefer stock rom and i want to know if i install american stock rom S4 SPH-L720 and then can i change this rom to European rom for model samsung galaxy s4 i9505. This model is probably the same as S4 SPH-L720 (they have the same processor). Can i change CSC to my region XEO and then install rom for my country.

Hey Thanks for your revert.
I am using this S4 in India on Android Version 4.2.2 with SIM Unlocked. My main concern is phone should remain SIM unlocked after flashing any Lollipop Modem. But I suspect that, it would get locked after flashing latest modem. I have seen that Galaxy Tool apk has the ability to unlock the phone on Lollipop but it has been posted in the forum for Note 3. So Little bit confused whether it will work or not
So I need your help with detailed explanation how did you do that ?
Can you please provide solution step by step ?

the unlock remain after flash modem for l720 you need update your cellphone to 4.4.2, the rom is in sammobile.com/firmwares/L720, after update put into download mode and flash the custom recovery, now you can install albe95 rom, i search in the forum the modem L720 OD2 but not found, the last modem is the kitkat.

Hello people! Im very new to rooting and flashing roms so could you also assist me on how to do it (like doing a custom recovery/unlock bootloader)? I have the Galaxy S5 ATNT variant and I wonder if you guys have any smooth roms for it. I heard that Cyanogenmod released a klte rom (nightly rom) which is for the Galaxy S5 LTE version and Im wondering if it could function well for my Galaxy S5 G900A. And what are AOSP roms? Are they like stock roms or something close to that? I need it to be less bloated (or not, but has to be faster than stock rom) and a smoother/faster ROM than the Touchwiz (Stock) ROM (And yes I know that it voids your warranty)

you require doing a root and installing safestrap. the at&t kernel/bootloader is locked and encrypted so you cannot flash custom kernels or recoverys. visit the at&t forum for information. i sold my at&t model and bought a sm-g900f because of this.
So I Currently have an Xperia z and my girlfriend as A Galaxy S4 I337M , We plan of Switching phones between each others, But First I need some infos before making the Switch. I am Currently on a Rooted phone with Custom rom So I want to make sure that Once I switched to the S4 I will be able to do so I've hearded some S4 are bootloader locked and **** about knox.
So is there anyways to know if the phone will support root/flashing custom roms ?
Thank you
Canadian s4's come with unlocked bootloaders (no need to worry about safestrap). Root and install recovery as you will http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314494
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Metro Pcs (sm-g900t1) and i cant seem to find any custom roms that support this model , i heard from somewhere on this site that i can use the Tmobile custom roms (sm-g900t) since my phone is just rebranded , well i wanted to know if that was true. can i just do that ? or do i need to flash the firmware and change it to sm-g900t ? any help will be thankful.
As long as g900t1 and g900t have the same hardware internally, you should be good with using g900t ROMs
