Hey Thanks for your revert.
I am using this S4 in India on Android Version 4.2.2 with SIM Unlocked. My main concern is phone should remain SIM unlocked after flashing any Lollipop Modem. But I suspect that, it would get locked after flashing latest modem. I have seen that Galaxy Tool apk has the ability to unlock the phone on Lollipop but it has been posted in the forum for Note 3. So Little bit confused whether it will work or not
So I need your help with detailed explanation how did you do that ?
Can you please provide solution step by step ?

[Q] Samsung S4 LTE KitKat ROMS

Galaxy S4 LTE (i9505) KitKat updates are available to download now... But I'm a bit confused about their versions and name..
In short, I want to flash stock kitKat on my S4 LTE i9505 using ODIN, but which firmware I should download? There are lots and lots of stock firmwares available there!
Any Help? Is there any difference between those XXUFNBC XXUFNB4 etc firmwares ?

This is not something that is relative to Android Wear, so should not be posted here, please post in the Q & A section for your device and you'll more than likely get the most accurate response. It will also benefit other members who may have the same question, so please move your post.
Thread moved to Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting. Please pay attention to where you post.
Just look for your country and download your country's firmware. The difference is the build date nothing more I guess.

[Q] Is flashing a G900F Custom ROM over a stock G900M Rom Secure ?

Good day all
I just bought a S5 G900M model, but I want to install a customed ROM for it, but on all threads I am seeing only, so far, ROMs for G900F one, so my question is: Will this be a secure step to take on regards of Signal? or should I wait for a rom compatible with my model ?
thanks,
Cheers from Costa Rica.:good:

Same question here!
But I want a G900M on my G900F!
AFAIK. Both are the same device.
I installed cyanogenmod 12.1 over g900f, but it says that is the same rom for g900M, g900t, and others. you should check with the developers of your customized rom.
I dont know if flashing stock g900f over g900m will work.
I want to flash the stock rom from G900m over g900f to try to automagically solve the wifi_country_code issue that i have.

It isn't recommended to try flashing a firmware intended for a different variant. It may brick your phone.
If Knox isn't an issue for you, then a better solution would be installing a custom and unbranded ROM like XtreStoLite or Phoenix which will work and remove the logo.
.

You could although its not recommended and no i dont mean this for all roms. just some roms. sometimes the radio will refuse to work and it will wipe ur external SDcard. you might want to pick out a rom and look for ur specific model in that rom section to see if anyone has gave it a go.
Umm, no. You can't flash an N900 ROM to an N9005 or vice versa, I don't think so.
As per what ROM you should use, well you can't ask for that type of queries here, goes against some rule of XDA.
My favourite and recommendation will always be stock ROMs though, and if you really have an urge to try custom ROMs then choose stock based ones at least.
about rom
a lot of people they update to the echoe rom v22 with that model
give it a try
