[Q] Oneplus one ROM port

Is there any ported ROM of oneplus one for the nexus 4? with double tap to wake and the lock screen and everything, and is it flashable?

No

There are plenty other good roms which offered these features. Just search for them. They wanted to be found.

Oneplus one came with CM11 built in xD We already had CM11 official, if you want to double tap to wake just flash custom kernel xD

I got Franco kernel but I don't know how to turn on the double tap feature

I think you have to use android L port pal it is a we so me!!!

[Q] Note 3 Rom Questions

Hello - ive been an avid reader of the forum and wanted to say thanks to all the devs for there hard work.
Just a few questions to help me understand a little more about this. I have been using roms for a little bit now and i am wondering if there are any stable roms. I have problems such as not being able to play videos on YT or FB unless i do a reboot, GPS works on and off but aside from that all else is good. Are these normal issues or is there a ROM someone can recommend for me?
My Phone:
Model Number: SM-N900W8
Baseband Version: N900W8VLUBMJ4
Kernal Version: 3.4.103-TEMASEK-CM11 - HLTE-V3.95-EXP4+
I use to youse CM11 KitKat official but had lots of problems with phone shutting off, resetting, freezing, etc.
Any help would be great folks

Maybe it is the problem of your kernel settings ie. undervolting and frequency. I personally use Temasek CM11 but I find RCELITE S5 rom good too

ok ok - last question.....unless you like helping me out with answering my questions
I am assuming ART is an app used instead of the stock s pen program? I looked up ART on Google Play and was not able to locate it...does it have a full name?
You feel like giving me a little crash course on all this stuff we have been talking about as i dont think i know all the pieces of the puzzle.

art is found in developer options, it makes your phone faster and better battery go to about device, tap on build number 7 times, press back and open developer options and enable art

Samsung galaxy note 4 SM - N910F recommended rom?

Hey guys. Picked up a note 4 SM-N910F today with the intention of rooting and installing the X-Note Build 3.0 rom. Just wondering if you experts recommend it or if not... What you recommend instead?
- Looking to add the double tab to wake the screen option
^^^ main thing I miss from my HTC one m8. And just in general get rid of touchwiz. Use of the s pen is a must too

double tap to wake is kernel controlled i think, so any rom would do, as long as you use a kernel with that feature.
i think nadia kernel either has it already or they're planning to provide that feature in a next release or so.
and for the rom...any rom would do then, so that's completely up to you :good:

There is no boeffla kernel for this device. Lord boeffla skipped the S4.

I am using Phoenix v2.0 Rom , its the best custom rom ever. I love it, the battery life is amazing, it is debloated, it is fast. Plus it has many tweaks.

I don't know this ROM - also I couldn't find it's features but it seems to be 10€.

SupermanRom + Prometheus Kernel are really incredible.

Yes i would prefer SupermanRom. Tried all Roms like renovate, echoe, phoenix, stock, nissa nexus rom ...
But also the Prometheus Kernel does good work with Superman rom.
Just try it if you want and i think if you flashed it, you stay at supermanrom

my stock kernel works pretty well with Phoenix, what extra improvements comes with prometheus?

We just go to their threads, check all the features that the rom offers, then see what people have to say about them, is it stable? battery etc, then we go ahead if we like it we stick to it if not? go ahead, try another one

Of course, the stock kernel is great also but there are more advantages with prometheus like battery power, more SOT, more power or something like this. You can overclock your kernels, undervolting it for saving battery and so on.
If you try a bit and adjust the kernel suitable for your needs than it is smoother than smooth and everything works like a charm.
In my opinion a custom kernel like prometheus is made to get the best stats out of your device. Just try it and you will see.

Is there a rom that support adding longpress or double tap action to the back and recents buttons? Like 'switch to last app' or 'open notification window'?

You can do that with GMD Gesture control app. Search in google play.

Thanks, but this app works with gestures. And as I mostly handle the phone with one hand it's hard to do multi-finger gestures.
That's why I'd like to have those function with the buttons in the bottom.

You can edit the functions of keys as well.
