I rooted my SM-G900H using Chainfire's method. The rooting went without any issues. After rooting I installed the Xposed framework and after installing Xposed framework i realised that the S Health application was not working anymore. I read some troubleshooting tips on Xda forums and they pointed towards editing the build.prop (not sure if I remember the name correctly) file. Upon rebooting after editing this file I found that the display resolution is completely messed up, the icons and the fonts have become very small. A reboot/ cache wipe via (stock) recovery/ factory data reset did not fix the problem. Any help will be highly appreciated. A screenshot is attached to this post.
p.s.: I remember converting the S Health app to a user app and wiping its cached data during my efforts to get it working, as suggested in the troubleshooting tips, but sadly this also failed. I also uninstalled the app once and reinstalled it from the samsung app store. Still it did not work.
Change DPI in build. prop to: ro.sf. lcd_density=480
Thanks!

Hello everybody,
a rather odd thing happened to me: after the latest update to cm7-111107[unofficial] from genokolar I am not able to download most apps from the market (including Flash player and even Angry Birds!). It says the applications were not compatible with my device (U8800). But I had no problems with the versions before, as exactly the same apps installed just fine! I've checked both build.prop files and there are virtually no differences. Does anyone experience the same issue? And what reasons for incompatibility are there besides the device settings in the build.prop? Clearing the market data doesn't help. And I did a full wipe, cleared system, data and cache partition and dalvik cache...
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I found the key problem. At least for me it was... In the build.prop there is an option "qemu.sf.lcd_density" which I Set to 220. Back to 240 and everything is working fine again. Just a littlebit bigger. But you can change this after the installation of the desired programs. Never thought this entry was the reason. But anyway thanks for your answers to my question.
Huh weird.... everything works for me and I also have the latest cm7.

Do you by chance have Xposed framework with a multiwindow module? Try disabling the module.
I do not. All I have done is root the phone. The program was working after rooting was done however after a reboot maybe a couple hours later it started the force close.

Not sure then. Only time I've seen issues is when multiwindow Xposed hack was used.
You haven't frozen any apps/bloat in TiBu have you?
I'm rooted and mine works just fine. I use it everyday.
Started Over
I finally just used Odin and all is good:good:. Thanks everybody for trying to help.
I am having the same issue. I have Xposed installed with the Xposed Wallet hack, but not the multi- window hack. I used "Multi Window Manager" from the play store to manage my MW, so I uninstalled that to see if that was causing the problem. No luck.
Running Nottach's P-Rom, Xposed framework, Xposed Wallet Hack, the CASUAL Root-Recovery.
i have rooted, debloated, done Xposed multi window hack (not enabled) and TiBU frozen apps; S Health crashes every time. so i froze it; didnt use/need/want it before.
oddly it reminded me of the 'health' functions on a watchphone i had from 2008; it had a period/ovulation calculator. wtf.
Sorry for thread jacking -- but is there a way to have the Shealth pedometer keep running all the time?

I edited my build.prop following these instructions I found online, everything now works wonderfully!
Make sure the Xposed isn’t installed.
We need to change build.prop file inside the system partition, you can also get it done manually by using a file manager app or get a build prop editor on play store.
Once you find the build.prop file, look for the “ro.securestorage.support=true” line.
Now change the line to “ro.securestorage.support=false”.
Install the Xposed framework again.
The final step is wiping S Health app data, head to System -> App Manager -> ALL -> S Health then wipes the data. Now your Galaxy S5 should be able to runs Xposed framework and S Health simultaneously without any problems.
Hi guys. Need a little enlightenment here.
I have rooted my note 4 recently, and want to change the fonts. I've downloaded iFont and HiFont to change it but when I selected my desired font to change, it prompted "Not enough storage space". Googled it up, pointed to app cache issues. Cleared it, but still not able to change. Not even the default ones like rosemary can be selected.
Just to share what happened after the rooting process as well; I changed the lcd density in build.prop to 200. Gosh that was a bad move. keyguard(something something) prompted forced to stop after restarted. Couldn't press a single thing. Attempted to put in TWRP recovery via Odin on PC, but prompted failed. I had no choice but to wipe data. After I reboot and the setup and stuff, then this happen after I attempted to change font.
Don't change the LCD density too far away from default as it can cause you trouble.
Thanks for the advice. But I guessed I've learnt that the hard way at the expense of my data. I'm more concerned on the changing of fonts.
Anyone please help?

There is this amazing zip out there you can flash and get 300 fonts installed without issue. It's awesome.

I hope the below screenshot gives a better idea as to what I am talking about. As you can see from the screenshot, a custom font is selected. It prompts me this message. Installing of fonts is not a problem. It's the selection part.
seems like a question that no one has an answer to. SOMEONE CLOSE THE DAMN THREAD.
Maybe not enough space on the ROM for the fonts maybe try uninstall some system apps to free space

Has to be a ROM issue, I have never encountered that and for a note 4, not enough space sounds ridiculous
It's alright guys. I've done my backup and flashed the stock rom and wiped everything. It's working now.
I installed Slimkat 4.4.4 on a aging Nexus 7 2012, but Mobdro will not work. I have uninstalled Mobdro, went into recovery and cleared cache, and Dalvik cache, did a SD Maid cleaning, and then downloaded Mobdro (latest version), re-installed, but I still get the same useless error message, "Unfortunately, Mobdro has stopped". This app did work before on a stock non-rooted Lollipop install.
I checked to see if any of the other apps were preventing Mobdro from working, I thought it was MinMinGuard so I disabled it, and rebooted, but it was not the problem. I could not see any other possible app conflicts or problems.
I am beginning to think that it is a conflict with Slimkat and Mobdro, or perhaps a setting in Slimkat that has created a conflict, I pretty much left all the settings in Slimkat at default. Any help would be appreciated. :good:

Try putting the dpi settings back to stock for the device. Slims custom dpi causes tons of issues with apps due to this.

I was unaware that Slimkat did this. I installed this ROM for someone else, so I am not familiar with the settings, where is this setting , and will I need to look up the DPI for the N7, or will the settings set it to the correct stock DPI? Thanks for replying.
There should be a setting some where in slim settings. I have not used slim in a long time so I'm not sure where it is.

So unfortunately changing the DPI was not the solution. Thanks for that info though, at least I know it not that now. :good:

I have issues with mobdro app
HI
Iam recently downloaded mobdro on my iPhone but i am not able to install it on my iPhone mobile. Please any one help me how to install mobdro on my iPhone.
Thanks in advance
Mobdro no longer works because access to the streams has been eliminated due to legal proceedings for infringement of protected content. Mobdro was a masterpiece, and we all hope that maybe one day it will pop back up again. Until then here https://bestdroidplayer.com/streaming-apps/mobdro-not-working-best-apks-replace-mobdro/ are some alternatives of Mobdro and fixes that you can check out.
Same thing with me. Mobdro is not working. It's stuck on the purple/pink home screen.
Hello all,
I've upgraded my SM-N910F to Marshmallow BTU and while everything seemed OK at first, I noticed that the stepcounter in S Health has stopped working. I tried resetting the app data and restoring data from cloud backup as well as removing the update installed after MM to no avail.
Yesterday, I also noticed that the screen rotation has stopped working too. I appreciate that one of the recommendations might be to wipe and start a fresh but that's not an easy thing to go through and I would much rather leave that as the absolute last resort.
Has anyone else had this issue and is there a better way to resolve this without wiping?
Thanks in advance

Did you uninstall Facebook? That also removes libgnustl_shared.co, which affects rotation. Here's a zip of my file (6.0.1 XSG for 910C), no assurances it will fix it short of a reflash, but you might give it a try (unzip first) -- put it in system/lib/ and set permissions to 644.

Thanks @rogerinnyc that library fixed the rotation issue. Why on earth would an additional app not really integral to the system remove such a critical system library is beyond me. It's evidence of the kind of alliances these companies make to force their products upon the consumers. I would understand if the device were given to me free of charge but having paid a fortune for MY device, I don't think this is acceptable.
Jeez dude, so much modesty for ****e things! I am a simple person, so the way I see it,
Fu(k Facebook.
There you go.
