You also can try by following the instructions cited above but pressing volume down and up at the same time.

Hi, I was flashing my LG when the flashing tool stopped at 63% and showed some error, i tried to flash again but it gave me error 502.
I turned off the phone and tried to turn it on again, the screen wont turn up but the PC detects the LG (zune doesn't).
I've tried to put it on emergency download mode with vol- + camera + power but the tool stills says error 502.
Is it recoverable or is it lost?
Update: I was able to recover it! I tried to enter emergency download mode with the battery out but connected to the pc, then i inserted the battery and the LG flashing tool recognized it!
Took 5 minutes to flash it. (I used the vol- + camera + power to enter emergency download mode).
Good to know and happy for you resolving your issue

Hi guys,
I am trying to go back to stock, while entering download mode, I got the screen shot that tells about Firmware Update.
(see attachment). The progress bar stuck at 0%, I have to unplug the USB cable and press power button on G2 for about 10 seconds to reboot again.
Is this normal, or there are something wrong? Also, my pc, Win7 64 bit failed to installed G2 as a USB modem, but success to installed it as a USB serial port.
Thanks in advance.

Can you get it into battery charging mode ?
If you can get there, KDZ software will switch it to Download Mode when you attempt to flash firmware.
I am not sure as my boot animation is damaged no matter what mode I boot into. The problems began when I flashed a v20 baseband
Sent from my LG-E610 using XDA Free mobile app
radio image which is initialized before kernel is damaged
it doesnt interefere with bl or download mode however
- unplug usb cable.
- remove battery.
- hold vol - pressed.
- while doing so, connect usb cable.
- does it get into download mode ?
or try
- unplug usb cable.
- remove battery.
- hold vol - and + pressed.
- while doing so connect usb cable.
- does it get into download mode ?
let me know if either of those does anything.
If any of those work and kdz flash doesn't fix there's still hope, let me know how it goes, you might need a modified firmware dll aswell.
Good luck

The f320 offer it
So I wanted to flash evolution X, which flashed ok but would only boot into fastboot mode. I then went to flash stock 11 rom using the fastboot rom. It flashed ok but when it came to rebooting, the screen just went black. I cannot enter fastboot, recovery or EDL mode. Regardless of the method to get into EDL mode, the computer wont recognise the phone. Device manager doesnt show anything being plugged in and MSMdownload tool doesnt recognise it either. I have the drivers already installed so the computer should recognise it.
What i did one time was:
Start MSM Tool and press start.
Connected the phone with a third party cable and to a usb hub.
Held vol up, vol down and power button for like a minute or longer.

You likely just haven't installed the proper drivers. You need those Qualcomm ones so your PC recognizes the phone. Also try different USB cables.
