Nobody can decide for you, you should check your own requirements.

Mod Edit
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM / Kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself. That is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion,
and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.

Battery problem

I have a question...which rom gives the longest battery life and is smooth and fast.now i have destiny rom and battery keeps max 10 hours with 3g and wifi deactivated. Please help me i have already tried kilyros 4.x? vivek indroid and nothing. The battery drain with custom rom drain faster than stock rom.
I use Kyrillos 8.1
For me i can use it for more that 1 day. But i don't know how that is for you.
You can test a few rom's, and then look witch is the best for you, because it is for every one different!
I tested kyrilos no wipw version indroid v4 and v6 vivek and destiny which are crap

Edit:can anyone give me voltage for setcpu galaxy 3?
If you want speed you flash a custom ROM as it includes all the tweaks etc. for speed. If you want long battery life you flash a stock ROM or a custom ROM which has not been overclocked. Many developers usually supply a non overclocked version of their ROM's. I think this would be best for you since you want speed and battery life. The last option would be setting appropriate profiles in SetCPU such as a screen off profile, a time profile if your phone stays on overnight and use a governor such as OnDemand or Conservative. I read that OnDemand is bad since it changes the CPU speeds too often which is somehow bad for the CPU. Not sure if this is true but i normally use Conservative.
of all the custom roms, kyrillos is the best..flash your phone with 8.2.1..prefer non-over clocked version over overclocked ones for battery longeivity and stability..kernels does matter too..nw g3 mod v2.0 beta 2 non oc gives better battery life

Kyrillos' ROM is not the 'best'. Every ROM is the 'best' in different ways meaning all ROM's have their pros and cons! Don't listen to the guy in the quoted post. He is expressing his personal opinion due to his experience. However, everyone has different opinions and many people prefer other ROM's. If i were to give you a list of ROM's which are regarded as the 'best' by the majority of people on XDA i would have to say : Kyrillos', Indroid, Dutchmods, Cyanogenmod 7/6.2 (Both in alpha stages) and Destiny ROM. I would recommend trying some or maybe all of the following and i have listed them in no specific order.

I'm sorry if i missed out any ROM. The ROM's i mentioned were the ones i followed the most and i realised they got a lot of positive feedback. I'm sure Kyorarom is awesome since Hillbeast is developing it

I Use Kyrillos 9.3 oc. with wifi on and normal use i can use it 2 day's on 1 battery
+1 on Kyrillos 9.3!!! I'm using it with G3MOD 2.2.2_OC @ 200-1200MHz Ondemand (main) & 83-600Mhz Ondemand (screen off) with great battery times and amazing speed!
On 9.3 Non-OC. 9.3 resolves the battery issue. Pause

most stable ROM?

hey all - looking for some group input - what have been the general impressions on custom ROM's for our N7's?
most specifically i'm looking for long battery life, responsiveness, and stability.
on my Gnex i use AOKP... but i'm not sure how stable the JB nightlies are for the N7.

Revolution HD v Omega v54 ROMs for battery life

I was previously on Revolution HD v29 which was very smooth & had excellent (2 days!) battery life. I upgraded to the Omega 4.3 ROM and the battery life is down to just over a day now. I wondered if anyone had any experience of how the Revolution HD and Omega 4.3 ROMs compare for battery life and whether 4.3 ROMs are just more power hungry? Omega also seems a wee bit laggier that my old Revolution HD v29.
Thanks

Questions like this are NOT allowed. Best rom/kernel threads will be closed immediately. You should find out for yourself which rom is best for your needs and you can take into account the user response at the rom's respective thread and ask questions there if you have problems regarding it.
This was not a "best rom" thread - I was asking specifically if anyone had tried both of these ROMs and how they had found them. Yes, I could flash any number of ROMs to try them out. Each time I do that it takes me several hours to get my phone set up properly. If someone is happy spend a minute answering my query that's fine, if not, people are free to ignore the thread - I have been happy to respond to similar posts if it concerns a ROM I have used. I do not think that my post was unreasonable.
Post may well not be classed as a best rom thread ,thats the mods decision.
But as its a question its in the wrong section its a question .

Let me chime in before they close this. AR54 should be much better in terms of battery. You should also remove Seeder from your install, slap on Boeffla kernel disable Fast Dormancy.

The best kernel is the one which you prefer over the others. There is no such thing as the better kernel. Try both of them and decide which one you like the best.Have a nice day

Try all kernel. Certain kernel is good in one phone and others is bad. Vice versa.

Threads discussing which ROM/kernel is best are usually subjective and as such often devolve into bickering and flaming. Therefor we try to avoid them when possible.
Since kernels are required to be open source there usually isn't too much difference between them as far as battery life is concerned, but it's still a good idea to review recent posts in their thread to make sure there aren't a lot of people reporting bugs or anything. (just please don't ask about it in there, if you don't find any bug reports it's likely good )

Sense 7 Roms | Battery Life

The past few weeks I've been using CM12.1 as my daily driver but I started to miss the speed and functionality of Sense 7. Not to mention the look. I'mhere to gather opinions on which rom you personally think has the best battery life. Sense 7 Roms only, please.

"Best" is very subjective. You can compromise many things for battery life like functionality and speed. Keep in mind that users have totally different battery lives while even on the same ROM.
This is something only you can judge based on your usage.

Please don't post irrelevant information. I realize that. However, I'd like to see a rom that many people view as having good battery life. I'll pick that one to try first. I'm asking for everyone's personal experience and opinion, not factual information.

IMO
S.ROM has really great battery life. It's stock ported from m9. SkyDragon is also pretty good as well and has more features built in.
I think that it's less of the rom, and more how you use it, and what apps you use. I.E. using greenify, powernap and amplify, you can get decent battery life from anything.
You talk about irrelevant information, actually this whole thread is irrelevant because there is an existing battery thread already and the rules on this forum suggest you to use existing ones over new created ones.
If you want a relevant discussion i am kindly suggesting to take it there

We already have a battery discussion thread here:
