Is there a Cyanogen ROM? - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been looking around and it seems like I can't find a Cyanogen ROM. Is the no stable release for the Note 3?

There is no asop or akop roms for the retail note 3. With a locked bootloader you can not flash a kernel so you are limited to tw style roms.

any fully working aosp roms for 4.2 yet?

Sorry if I'm completely blind but the only one I saw had no gapps for it.
Do you mean a custom ROM or a rooted stock ROM?
Rooted, flashable updates are based on the OTA they have Google apps. What 4.2 ROM were you looking at?

[Q] What i do with the ROM?

Well, I'll buy the Nexus 4 weeks coming but I still appear doubts about what I'll do with it hehe! It's better have the stock version of android with Franco Kernel, or Installing the CM 10.1 with Franco Kernel or have the defaut kernel with the CM 10.1. I heard that with the Franco Kernel version of the stock android can not be updated. Is it true? Grateful. Hug
Whatever you like. It's your choice. You have to test it out on your own and see.
I don't really understand your last question.

Sry, I heard that with the Franco Kernel, the stock version of android can not be updated. Is it true?
No. If you're not on stock recovery then you would not be able to get the updates. Kernels do not do such a thing like you said. If you have a stock recovery and a custom kernel is installed you'll be able to get updates as long as the recovery is stock.

You can't apply an update to the stock ROM if anything is altered, including using a custom kernel. But you can easily just re-flash the stock kernel, apply the update and then flash your custom kernel again.

CM 10.1, AOKP & PA features on Touchwiz based roms?

Will features from roms such as CM 10.1, AOKP & PA be available on Touchwiz roms? This is my first Touchwiz phone so I apologize if this sounds like a stupid question.

No, because it uses a different kernel.
