Lockscreen tweakbox
I have confirmed that this works on galaxy s5 using alliance rom. It removed the emergency part. Looking into the alternative password part.

Hi,, i am just wondering if its possible to completly change the app/icon pictures to something totaly differnt?
i have just rooted and flashed my phone with the leedroid rom.. and then a nice espresso mod style theme.. but it doesent change any icons as such...
I was wondering if its possible to get something like these shown on this thread in the HD2 forums... and if so is it a hard process to do?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=621907
cheers
You can use "FolderOrganizer Lite" to change the icons.
Thanks.. Does that come with any icon sets? Or if not what's the procedure for importing icons
.
Thanks for the advice .. )
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
I would suggest DesktopVirtualizer, it's much more user friendly and does the same job. You just add a widget called "desktopvirtualizer (SS)" and it let's you choose the application and the icon you want for it + custom text with custom color and background. I think either applications don't have any icon packs included.
do any of these automaticly change all my icons to a specific type in 1 click? ? or do i have to manualy select and change each and every icon ?
I recently bought HTC touch HD and am using Default Green theme without the TouchFLO 3D..........I have some good wallpapers.I Start>Settings>Today and browsed for the desired wallpaper and used it as homescreen wallpaper.....The problem is the wallpaper appears extremely blur (the original pic is of good quality) and I could not find any option to adjust the opacity or transparency of the image.
Can anyone please help me apply the desired wallpaper without getting the pic blured.
I got the answer for my above problem.............I have one more question.........when my phone restarts my sim card asks for verification pin, upon entring the sim pin the phone goes to the home screen and the phone is ready for use.
The number pad that appears for entring this pin is way lot better than the default dialer........is there any way that this pin keypad can be replaced by the default dialer and used to dial calls.
or is there any other way to modify or change the default dialer sothat it'll be more easy and comfirtable to dial numbers. The default dialer is very conjusted and not so easy to use and does not even look good.

Hi,
Yes it's possible with a theme, you need a rom that supports Theme Chooser, something like that:

All is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801752
Or you need a VrTheme (flashable zip), I quickly looked but I have not found one.
Thanks
thats nice
I still feel someone can make a theme which is just like how google now looks .
But these will do
Is itc possible for the following.
1. Change colour of Google search on the home screen
2. Have more options for shortcuts in the lockscreen Carousel like below it I already have 3 including unlock
3 Have music toggle (isn't an option on my ROM (root box))
I'm looking for a UI theme that can be applied to my phone which would only change the lockscreen portion, and leave the rest of the existing theme (icons, homescreen, settings, phone, contacts, etc) unchanged.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo model SM-G903W (Canada), running Android Nougat 7.0 and Samsung Experience 8.1 with TouchWiz Home 6.1.85.12. I am rooted, with TWRP.
I really dislike the standard theme lockscreen clock, which shows hours stacked on top of minutes.
The Samsung store has themes with a normal digital clock, but I don't want to change the rest of my UI, only the lockscreen. (I know I can install the new theme, then overwrite the icons and wallpaper with my old theme, but the settings menu and so forth remain with the new theme.)
Can anyone point me to a theme that only overwrites the lockscreen?
I'm talking about the clock format, not the lockscreen wallpaper (which is trivial to change).
Otherwise, is it possible to extract the lockscreen portion of a theme and install only that? It looks like Samsung themes are a closed system and development tools are hard to come by, so I'm not sure if any of the "Basic APK & Theming Thread" in the XDA-University forum is applicable. Advice on whether I can modify the theme myself would be appreciated. If this is something that would be simple to change using Sungstratum, then that could be an option.
Other ways to get a normal clock, which I have rejected:
- Install a new lockscreen app -- I'm happy with the functionality of the Samsung default lockscreen (except the ugly clock!)
- Create a permanent notification, which causes the clock to display on one line -- I don't want to have the notification
- Downgrade to Android 6 -- I'd like to stay with Nougat
- Samsung Good Lock app -- not compatible with Nougat on the S5 Neo
Thanks for any help,
Justin
This is actually an S5 Neo question, but something that works for the S5 may also work for me. I asked this question in the S5 Neo Q&A forum, but got no response, so I thought I'd try here.

An example which takes a desired set of icons from a theme package, and places it into an icon-only package, is given by this post: <https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/samsung-theme-store-icon-hack-icon-theme-t3628253>. I would be grateful for guidance on doing something similar with only the lockscreen from a theme package.
