Hi guys
Was wonder since our nexus ins't hindered by super amoled anymore .
Was wondering is it possible to get an app which can make all our menu's and settings with white background ?
Something akin to google now style ?
Hi,
Yes it's possible with a theme, you need a rom that supports Theme Chooser, something like that:

All is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801752
Or you need a VrTheme (flashable zip), I quickly looked but I have not found one.
Thanks
thats nice
I still feel someone can make a theme which is just like how google now looks .
But these will do
Is itc possible for the following.
1. Change colour of Google search on the home screen
2. Have more options for shortcuts in the lockscreen Carousel like below it I already have 3 including unlock
3 Have music toggle (isn't an option on my ROM (root box))

Hello i have a question, can we add somehow different lockscreens ..i have only few in my CyanogenMod ..
You can use Agile lockscreen (I use it) or just search the market for Lock screens.
Theres
1. agile lock (sense 3 lockscreen also found on GDX),
2. honeycomb lockscreen (on the market. Really nice lockscreen you might wanna check it out)
3. Widgetlocker - FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE!
4. GOTO lockscreen - also very nice. Looks great.
5. Something called alock- its an iphone style lockscreen (default), looks very glossy, has nice effects, animations, colours, customizable wallpaper and has 3 unlock options - Colour matcher (exactly that), hamster hit (hit 3 cute little hamsters) and the iphone style lock. This is what im using at the moment
If you want to change the colours/styles of your lockscreen, you can use zip themer or metamorph, go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1013757
to learn more. Also a lot of themes have their own colour/style of lockscreen (ex- steelblue and some others) have their own metamorph add on so you can grab those by going over to that respective themes page. Use zip themer to implement Hope I helped.
Edit - if you cant find aLock and you're interested PM me I think I have the link. As far as I know, its not warez. Found it on the indo blog.
edit framework and add other colour and customize style and colour of lockscreen )
So I'm using this theme called pixel experience... It's awesome features -
1. Fully stock Nougat statusbar icons, rounded battery icon like lineageos a bonus
2. It can accommodate 14 toggles (yes, FOURTEEN)
My idea for theme...
1. Status bar from this theme
2. Quick toggle from this theme (Even themeing of toggle.. I kinda love it's stockish look )
3. EVERYTHING ELSE from default MIUI theme (I don't like it's icons and themeing of default apps)
Resources -
1. Pixel Experience! Link: http://zhuti.xiaomi.com/detail/cef0f8c1-7d2b-468c-97a5-e506a1bd77eb
2. Stock clone theme - eXtended 8! Link: http://zhuti.xiaomi.com/detail/f068e9a8-1bd1-48b0-a062-a35a5eef66e5
I don't have the default theme, I'd add it if anyone provides it's link...

Sorry if I don't understand right, what you want, but you can achieve this without making a whole new theme. There's already a possibility to mix your installed themes. Go to themes app -> Tap on the little user icon in the upper left corner -> Customize theme. Here you can mix.

Thanks a ton... It worked ?
I'm looking for a UI theme that can be applied to my phone which would only change the lockscreen portion, and leave the rest of the existing theme (icons, homescreen, settings, phone, contacts, etc) unchanged.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo model SM-G903W (Canada), running Android Nougat 7.0 and Samsung Experience 8.1 with TouchWiz Home 6.1.85.12. I am rooted, with TWRP.
I really dislike the standard theme lockscreen clock, which shows hours stacked on top of minutes.
The Samsung store has themes with a normal digital clock, but I don't want to change the rest of my UI, only the lockscreen. (I know I can install the new theme, then overwrite the icons and wallpaper with my old theme, but the settings menu and so forth remain with the new theme.)
Can anyone point me to a theme that only overwrites the lockscreen?
I'm talking about the clock format, not the lockscreen wallpaper (which is trivial to change).
Otherwise, is it possible to extract the lockscreen portion of a theme and install only that? It looks like Samsung themes are a closed system and development tools are hard to come by, so I'm not sure if any of the "Basic APK & Theming Thread" in the XDA-University forum is applicable. Advice on whether I can modify the theme myself would be appreciated. If this is something that would be simple to change using Sungstratum, then that could be an option.
Other ways to get a normal clock, which I have rejected:
- Install a new lockscreen app -- I'm happy with the functionality of the Samsung default lockscreen (except the ugly clock!)
- Create a permanent notification, which causes the clock to display on one line -- I don't want to have the notification
- Downgrade to Android 6 -- I'd like to stay with Nougat
- Samsung Good Lock app -- not compatible with Nougat on the S5 Neo
Thanks for any help,
Justin
This is actually an S5 Neo question, but something that works for the S5 may also work for me. I asked this question in the S5 Neo Q&A forum, but got no response, so I thought I'd try here.

An example which takes a desired set of icons from a theme package, and places it into an icon-only package, is given by this post: <https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/samsung-theme-store-icon-hack-icon-theme-t3628253>. I would be grateful for guidance on doing something similar with only the lockscreen from a theme package.

Dude, you can use just the lockscreen of a random theme. Just change the wallpaper
Example

yeah i know i can use any theme, with lockscreen without that shortcut, but, see, i use the clock on the left of the lockscreen and the theme you show is on the center, so, even in settings you can change the position but since is a theme design they cant move for what side you want so...for me is a no go.
i just want a stock theme lockscreen with clock at left without shortcuts. i forget to say that, and its hard, really hard to find one theme with that specific rearangement.

Hey, bro
So, I did what I could now.
I took "Classic" Miui and change the lockscreen
1- I going to put "day of week" later. Only Chinese was working.
2- camera and flashlight still there but you won't see the icon.
Removed other tabs
Tell me if you see other bugs
Just extract the zip file and follow this.
To apply: themes -> my account -> themes -> import (end of the page) -> find the "Classic1.mtz" and apply.
All credits belongs to Xiaomi

Hi, so, only now i have tested the theme you made with the changes, but receive an error, see the bellow pic...click on it to see full image, the error appears on the bottom.
Cause i change the region to Brasil, in Portugal if we have that location we dont get the Themes app avaiable to install or download themes, so i change my region to Brasil, even India, get same error always.
