Does anyone know a way to reset the email count on the widget. Showing -1 and used to have this problem with my old 8010 and could not fix it.

Not specific to N4. Happens on my Galaxy S too, on the stock app. I don't remember it ever happening on Handcent. Maybe try that?
Yay! It worked

This is Google's way to stop any rogue app from spamming your contacts with SMS.
Have to root to get rid of it.

I don't own any rogue app. Pure stock and verify app on and the unknown source all is unchecked. Its only when I'm sending out message he gives me that error on multiply occasion.

But if you did have a rogue app spamming your contacts, this feature would stop it.

Did anyone already notice that cancelling a single event out of an recurring event doesn't work?
The strange thing: on Gingerbread it is working and synchronizing the "cancelled" entry is working, too, but if I remove it using my Nexus 7 the event immediately re-occurs after re-opening the calendar app.

Found a solution: clearing caches of CalendarApp and CalendarStorageProvider seemed to help fixing the issue.
