Hey all, im looking for a smartwatch that syncs with my phone but also that it has full android like the s6, does this watch syncs with the phone as i read the s5 doesn't and was wondering if anyone has info as some sites says it does and some that it doesn't.

It doesn't come with any software to do it stock, but people have reported success using Tablet Talk for this.

So there is no way of getting all other notifications like Facebook, whatsapp, email, etc?

I just purchased the Samsung Galaxy 3 today and installed facebook. I'm having problems with getting notifications from messages and comments made from other people about my status etc... I have gone to the settings in the application and activated so the notififications, no good!
I know the iphone sends a notification to the user when someone makes a comment about your status etc, does the samsung do the same thing??
If you have 2.1 then facebook doesnt support push notifications

what it is saying ?? "connection reset by peer" ?? if it is then it is ur service provider's problem ....!!
official facebook app isn't very good. You should try other apps and figure out if it works better

So I'm finally getting an android phone and I'd like to keep my iphone text messages if possible. I've found some paid apps through web searches but I'm wondering if there's any good free way (preferably without losing imessages being associated with a phone number) or at least some feedback from actual users on which paid app is best/worth it.
I read online that samsung kies will do this, but Im not positive as I dont have my S3 yet. I have a 4S atm.
There are also ways online that show how to extract items from your most recent backup.
Hopefully there is an easier way.
Im interested in moving my calendar over as well as I have already updated my contacts at google.com/contacts
I think I saw that comment about Samsung Kies but I actually have no idea what Kies is and the only thing on the S3 about kies is Kies Air which starts looking for compatible devices. Guess I'll have to check it out.
Samsung Kies is an app for your PC/Mac. Kies Air is an app for your device. Make sure your are looking at the right application.
Well Kies did transfer the messages to my S3. It took freaking FOREVER, like 2 hours for 5500 text messages and it lost a little bit (MMS images were lost and it seems like some imessages came through fine but I'm fairly positive some were lost, no idea what was the determining factor but the majority seemed to work or at least well enough).
The guy at the ATT store told me he could do it, i don't know what they actually use but i said id just do everything myself.

They use a Cellbrite machine, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Personally I like to remove my texts from my phone but I have them back up to my gmail with SMS Backup+

Did you guys know this existed? Back when Samsung introduced the Ativ's there was a version of S Note that did a version check and only worked on Samsung PC's. Being able to share my device-created S Note's with my PC has been kind of a Holy Grail goal. Apparently Samsung listened. If this old news sorry, I must have been sleeping under a rock.

Works fine for me. I'm sync'ing S Notes across two PCs, a N3, and my N10.1-14. I had some initial trouble with my N10.1-14. Turn off S Note sync in your Samsung Account (under settings) and also in S Note itself. Delete the S Notes on your device. Go in to Application manger and clear cache and data for the S Note app. Set it back up and then turn both sync's back on. Your previously deleted notes will be restored. It worked fine for me after that. Note: if you do what I described wrong or out of order you'll lose any S Notes you've created. The same thing happens some times with Browser bookmarks and what I described is the way to fix that too.
You can also manually import S Notes from your Samsung account. I think what's tripping up sync sometimes is that a ton of old S Notes in SNB format are left behind. Here's mine and they're useless to me now and trapped on Samsung's servers forever.

Actually, it's only for the new S Note. 18 people thanked the first post so I'm assuming they're using desktop S Note without issue. Just because a couple of people are having problems which could be for a litany of reasons doesn't mean desktop S Note or sync'ing via Samsung are broken. Evernote seems stupid to me and just another resource hogging apps screening, storing, and leaving my data open to hacking. If I weren't using S Note I'd be using OneNote because of its integration and compatibility with MS Office which is used by 95% of the Fortune 1000. To each their own.

You cant even imagine how much i have banged my head on this. Evernote sync wasn't working as good as i wanted (notes show up like weird photos or something).

Weird Windows behavior

However! In desktop app it does show only few of my notes. While the notes are synchronizing perfect between Note 3 and Note 10.1 (2014)

Hello I have tried using this app in two computers (win 7 and win 8) the app does not work.
I tried using diffrent sync options, or using only local storege
The program is stuck when it loads, it says it is creating database, and does not continue from there
at the end windows reports the program stopped working.
Tried asking samsung and they said there is a problem with this version.
Any work around?

im assuming you set up the sync on the tablet side correct? mine is syncing perfectly. i would love this s-note app but i can never get it to download. i dont know if its because im in the states are what. i noticed its a uk web address.

Yes - I sync from the tablet to Evernote and don't have any issues as far as that goes. It's only the desktop app that will not show any notes from Evernote.
I had no issues downloading/installing the app and I'm in the states.
Maybe firewall is blocking you.

I had a look for such a discussion but did not find sucha thread. I have the Chinese Rwatch M26 smart watch and iPhone 5 with iOS 8. Is it possible somehow to connect it to my device and get the push notifications on screen for messages, Facebook, email, etc. It works with Android phone, tested, but is there a way to do this with an iOS device? Currently I can only dial, take calls and that's it basically.

Heard it is possible to get m26 to work with ios. I believe you need to jailbreak then go to Cydia. There you will find app to push notifications. Forgot name of app

Yes, I found BTNotificationEnabler on Cydia, but it does not seem to work with iOS 8. The menus are different and the Bluetooth options do not appear anywhere... Ano other options for an app which does this?

Hi, you need to install SmartBluePlus from the App Store and connect your phone with that app.
When you connect, it asks you to pair. When this succeeds you will get notifications you also get on you iPhone's lock screen. Good luck

Hi I've downloaded the Smartblue and Smart blue plus from the App Store and neither identifies my watch. Any suggested apps that will actually connect. I can make and receive calls but that's it. I even downloaded the btnotifier and nothing worked.

I just received my A9 yesterday, and it is a pretty good product. All notifications work well with my Note 4. Callers can hear me loud and clear when in phone mode. The 240x240 screen resolution, although not 320x320 or higher like name brand models, is better than I expected. The UI is user friendly and easy to navigate. The heart rate moniter works, but I have not compared it to traditional heart rate devices/instruments, so I can't speak on the accuracy. The "lost device" feature works as well. Since I find myself walking away from my phone a lot when I'm home, I usually disable that feature because notification on the watch becomes quite annoying. I purchased mine from a popular Chinese distributor for $56 with free shipping. It took 3 weeks to arrive, but it was worth the price and the wait. Overall, it's a good buy. Anyone not sure about buying the A9, I say go for it.

Received my A9 today. Bought it as it was only 65 Euro and because I was curious as what it would be like as a 'clone'. Initially I was impressed by the looks, feel and the way it operated. This initial positove feeling was quickly followed by disappointment as the Mediatek Smartwatch app won;t connect with the watch. I'm using a Note 4 and although there is a Bluetooth connection the app which is crucial for many features and functions says 'connecting' but nothing happens. I see others here have had or are having the same issues. Any recommendations to get this sorted are welcome.
Ps. I made sure that my settings in Accessibility are correct and that I have the latest version of the App etc.

Have you paired it initially in the android settings menu under the bluetooth tab? That has to be done first. Or mediatek smartdevice wont find it.

Hi I paired the watch with my phone through the BLuetooth pairing procedure on the phone as I would with any Bluetooth device. The Mediatek App simply stays in the 'connecting' mode.
When i check my Bluetooth settings is shows that the phone is connected to the watch for 'Call audio' 'Media Audio' profiles and Allow access to 'Contact and Phone log'.
I get calls coming through on the watch and that side is all working alright.
I'd still very much like to have the messages showing up on the watch...
I think it is a good watch, but the watch faces are ugly as hell.
Can't we develop better watchfaces for this watch? Or just edit the existing ones?
I received a reply from the supplier which contained a QR code. I downloaded the APK App and thought I was on a 'winner' but after installing the App I discovered it was all in Chinese
They are now going to send me a link to the English version of the App which seems to look completely different to the Mediatek Smartdevice App that is supposed to be working with the watch...

I've installed the 'Fundo Wear' App and it communicates with the A9, SMS messages are coming through, calls can be made and you can add some more Apps like Google Weather. It's basic but for the money I'm satisfied with what it does.
The App wants you to register with a website for your health tracking details but although I did I cannot login with the App as it keeps telling me my password is incorrect...and it isn't

I think you need to activate your account with the incoming email from Fundo. I did but I can not connect my watch with this fundo app. It doesn't see my watch. But mediatek does.

I've completed the registration and that is now also working. I did notice that every time the watch disconnects from the phone because it's out of range it is a balls to get it to connect again...
So after a few hours with an App that seems to be working with the A9 I can come to the conclusion that it doesn't really. When connected it's OK. It does some nice things but unfortunately the connections is dropped on a regular basis and every time the connection is lost it's a total nightmare to get the App to talk to the watch again.
I simply couldn't rate this as a finished product or something that should be sold as such unless there is another App out there that actually works with the device.
On its own it's a decent watch but that really isn't really very 'smart'.
I'll keep messing around with it and try different Apps and will report back here if anything changes...

I've said goodbye to the Fundo Wear App as it was a nightmare trying to connect the phone and watch every time the connection was lost. I've now installed the Techmade Smartwatch App which seems to connect immediately and offer similar functionality. The App is in Italian but its simple enough to get round this

Hello everyone.
I own the A9 watch too and I believe its a great build smartwatch.
But, I really want to know if there is a way to update the firmware and how can we change these ugly faces, the watch styles, maybe to rearrange the icons?
Is it possible? How can we "explore" inside the watch?
