Nook color dead? - Nook Color Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I haven't fired up the nook in a while but it wouldn't power on at all so I assumed the battery was dead. I started charging it and now when it tries to turn on it shows a picture of the nook with a triangle and an exclamation point. Never seen that before, I have cm11 usually when it's dead it automatically boots when plugged in. Is it completely dead?

If my battery goes completely dead it can take up to 15 minutes of charging (on the full power Nook charger) before it will boot up. I see the same icon you are describing. If you have a low power charger I guess it could take almost an hour.

[Q] Nexus froze during long call - would not boot again

Loving the Nexus 4 (stock JOP40D + root) although I'm having some issues with the phone sometimes rebooting randomly (1-2 times a day)
and today it turned itself off during a long call (after about 45 mins) and would not boot again.
I pressed all combinations of buttons, plugged into the charger and it would not turn on.
Left it aside for a few mins, pressed power+vol and it booted normally as if nothing happened.
I then went to check the battery settings, and noticed a strange gap (screenshot) like the ones I was getting on my S2 after this kind of reboot.
Any ideas of what could have caused this?

Thanks. Could that really be the case though? It didn't feel hot in my hand
I'd RMA it. I'm getting an RMA device for a "faulty battery". Many Nexi have shipped with dud batteries. Not sure if that's your particular issue, but call Google.

Phone shut off and gave flashing red light.

Was watching YouTube last night with battery at around 90 percent when it suddenly shut off and gave the flashing red light. I plugged it in for a few mins then it turned back on and is working normally. When I turned it back on the battery showed it was completely drained. How does the battery go from 90 percent to 0 percent instantly? Is this a valid reason to RMA? I'm worried the battery is damaged. Attached is picture of battery stats showing how it completely discharged.

It show a green light when connected for charging.
One more thing is that when I connect to the computer, It shows some error USB Notification - "USB Device not recognized".
I have seen a few things about taking the nook apart, I think it would be my last resort. I don't replacement is viable option as I got it shipped to India.
Hoping some one would help me out.
It seems that the charging system/battery has gotten out of whack.
Usually people open the case, disconnect then reconnect the battery.
It could be that the battery is bad too.
It's good that it shows something when plugged into the USB.
What exactly is the unrecognized USB device PID/VID?
Replacement
I thought of taking it apart but it has break seal on the screw. Didn't wanna void warranty .
Thank you for the help ! I just found someone to take it back to the States. B&N will replace the device.

[Q] Fast battery drain, and % jumping around.

I have a LG G2 which I'm working on for a friend. For what ever reason, the phone just started to rapidly drain, and will shut off anywhere from 50% to 20%. When the phone shuts off, it will only show the LG logo when trying to turn on. I then have to connect it to a charger, and when I turn it on with it plugged in, it will be around 65%-75%.
I've attempted to reset battery stats while at 100%, but with no success. I'm in process of wiping and restoring against my will. Anyone have a solution? I'm thinking it may just be a toast battery.
Here is a picture of the battery stats.

You should try replacing the battery, sounds like it's defective anyway. However, you may want to see what happens when you disconnect the battery, then connect it again.

I just disconnected the battery after a 100% charge. When I turned it on, it was at 95%, and has dropped to 90% in about 2 minutes. I've ordered a battery, so unless there is something else to try, I feel that's the only option at this point.

Phone screen not turning on, even while I can see the red power led.

I flashed this **** called miui, updated the ROM, after the update installed in TWRP, my phone's screen never turned on again.
I can see it sometimes turn on for a split second, and then goes dark again.
No boot screen, no Lenovo logo, nothing. I was on 60%, and the phone's been on charge since 20 minutes.
Red power led is glowing, but no screen.
"I can see it sometimes turn on for a split second, and then goes dark again." - scratch that, not even that anymore.

I tried booting to the recovery, and that's what I got. It booted... Somewhere? I really don't know what happened, but that's not TWRP for sure, neither MIUI.
Things I've tried:
-Remove battery, put back, boot.
-Remove battery, put back, boot to TWRP recovery.
-Remove battery, try to boot with charger.
-Remove battery, try to boot with charger to recovery.
Any ideas?
Nevermind, it's a hard brick. Case closed.
