Android from USB, boot problem on Omni 10 - Windows 8 General

I would like to install (or in live) Android on my HP Omni 10 , but i can't boot my prepared usb drive with Win32diskimager. I have disabled the secure boot, and i have downloaded the android 4.4 image for BayTrail on intel site. On the bios screen i can see the drive, but not boot.
I don't know why...

Downgrade to Xpe ... suddenly XP does not boot

I succesfully downgraded my shift to XPe. All worked fine for many days.
I replaced boot.bmp in windows directory to overwrite common windows boot logo.
After reboot I forget an USB stick (probably with active partition) inserted in USB port ... and I suddenly removed it after bios screen... from that moment XP refuses to start and blocks itself before loading boot screen.
I removed USB stick, tried to load bios default etc etc... no luck.
How can I do ? Can the HD be failed ? How can I do to know for sure ?
Perhaps booting with WINPe ?
Any advice much appreciated. Best regards.

You need to install the usb recovery drivers. They are on the advent/pov websites. I assume there the same as your tab.
i cant access my tablet because i have usb not recognized error i want any alternat method to flash my tablet rom like sd card or usb drive thanks
no one solved my problem any idea if i use usb to serial cable or usb to lpt cable
You need to sort the usb driver issue. That will solve your problem. As far as i am aware flashing the stock rom with any other cable is not possible.

2017 Shield 16GB boot from USB

Hi everyone,
i´ve tried to get my Shield to boot from attached USB Drive with the Zulu Method he uses on Android 6.0 an 2015 Shield but with no sucess.
Has anyone managed to get 2017 Shield 16Gb to boot from USB Drive?
Me too! Have a 500gb (2018) pro would like to dual boot lineageOS or other custom ROM alongside stock ATV configuration. I'm think I am a rare user that wants to stay tuned into what's happening in the Nvidia stock supported world... while at the same time enjoying full interface features and effing around in custom ROM full android land. Any thoughts? The OPs boot from USB the answer?

Z17 Lite won't boot after v1.05 ROM update

Hello,
After rooting the system I tried to upgrade the stock firmware.
I probably did something wrong because now the device won't boot.
At startup it shows the "Nubia... Powered by android" screen and does not continue with the boot process.
I still have access to TWRP so I tried to wipe everything and to install the ROM from TWRP.
It looks as if the ROM is installed correctly, but it requires reboot and after reboot the same "Nubia... Powered by android" screen comes up.
I also tried the emergency recovery but that installs only from external sd card (that the Z17 lite does not have), or from OTG device. I connected a USB thumb drive with OTG cable but it doesn't recognize it
At this point I have no idea what else to do.
I'd be happy for any assistance.
TIA

UPDATE: I tried different USB drives. One of them mounted. I found that this one was formatted in FAT. Since this is a small 2Gb drive that cannot hold the ROM, I found another drive that was formatted in ExFAT that also loaded correctly.
I loaded the ROM as suggested and now the phone is working again.
My guess is that the phone can't read NTFS file format in emergency recovery mode.

iBall Slide i701 Windows Tablet stuck at boot screen

Hi,
I have iBall Slide i701 Windows Tablet which is stuck at boot screen (originally it had Windows 8.1 but I upgraded it to Windows 10). Now, request to please share the step by step guide to reinstall/repair Windows 10 / 8.1 in the tablet.
Thanks,
Vijay Gupta
Hi!
I dont know your device but by default the steps will be:
1 - Find, download and create a boot pendrive with firmware.
2 - need a OTG cable to plug in tablet
3 - Figure it out how to boot from pendrive, maybe a combination of keys like volume up + power, etc.
4 - plug OTG with pendrive in tablet and try to boot on pendrive.
5 - If successful you will able to recover or reinstall firmware.
Will be something like this I guess
