Hello.
I'm having a problem with my s5 video camera. When I'm filming in low light with flash on, I'm getting some strange interference. Look in the corners from the youtube sample. It only happens when I use flash. I tried changing video settings, but no success. It even happens in google camera.
Please advise.

Hi all,
Just now I tried to make a video with my SGS2, but when it is reaching a closeup range, its quality becoming blurry, and overall quality is very poor. Even I tried to focus on a remote, we cant read the numbers in the remotes with this video. But still image is very perfect. Do anybody face this problems?
Hello, Nobody to reply? Do eveybody haven't problems with Video capturing?
Actually I have the same problem.. Autofocus while in video seems to suck pretty bad, yet in still capture the phone focuses fine. Tried to record flashing a rom on my other phone in a dark room and it refused to focus at all. Don't know why. Even if I shined a light to see if that would help but nope.
(EDIT) I just noticed that autofocus only seems to work in 1080 recording mode and only while you are recording. It does not appear that autofocus works at all in 720, 480, or any other video resolution. I can't find any info on that. Anybody know why? Is this a "feature"?
Hi
At one time I tried to record a video where zoom in and out was used. The problem was that the zoom out after zooming in for some minutes causes the video on display and the recorded file to become corrupted on the right side of the video.
Can any one verify this problem ?
That was the first trying to record a video on the new phone on a particular occasion and a surprising issue was on display.
Then I didn't use the camera at all for few weeks.
Then after a few week trying to replicate the issue and it was reproducible.
What do you think?
So no body is interested in this issue or is it just my phone?
I've not really used my Z2 for video much.
I was at my kids nativity play and tried to do so, but the camera was constantly autofocussing and the footage is unwatchable.
Nobody else with different phones had this issue.
I tried setting it to manual and also played with different focussing modes and it was just the same.
Has anyone else had this issue, is it hardware or software. I have a feeling it may be connected to the facial recognition, but like I say it produced awful footage and part of the reason for buying this phone was the superior camera.
Trying to work out if it is faulty and should be returned.
Thanks

A question - is this a video recording problem only or its the same with photo focusing. And second - try recording a video wothout video stabilisation option enabled / stead shot - off. Metering - Multi / centre. or spot - tap the screen where you want to get a focus. If this does not help - reinstall the firmware - and if this doesn't work aswell give it to repair.
Thanks.
I have only really noticed it on video. There were a lot of kids and i suspect yhe facial focus stuff was getting confused, but i turned off most of the stuff you suggested and it still did it.
I am struggling to reproduce this issue, so whether hardware or software it does appear to be that scenario that sets it off. Will maybe go somewhere busy and try and play.
Have downloaded the basic google camera to see if that does the same.
Thanks
Hello,
Please can someone help me with a problem with my Galaxy S5 Neo camera as it is driving me mad?
I have a problem whilst videoing, where the camera does not stay in focus. It will focus for a few seconds but then just gives up and goes blurry. It does this on most videos I take.
It then constantly tries to focus again, and the noise of the camera focusing is quite loud when you play back the video (all you can hear is vrrrr noises!)
I have uploaded a video I just took as an example here:

Does anyone know what could be causing this?
I have already tried clearing the cache for the camera app, and I don't have the plastic on the lens. Removing the case I have also makes no difference
Thank you!
Hey guys so I have an interesting one for you today. A while back I've noticed something weird happening to my camera. Whenever I try to focus it's like the camera like vibrates really quickly. After making a video and playing it back I also noticed a high pitched noise when filming and it's trying to focus. So I went into the camera app and tried focussing. When holding my ear to the general area around the camera I can hear the same high pitched noise. I haven't seen this anywhere on the internet before or after a little googling.
Does anyone know what this is/how to fix it/whether it's dangerous?

I also encounter that one, it's the optical image stabilizer having a hardware issue.
However, it went back to normal, and sometimes it happens again when the temperature is humid.
Thanks!
