Hallo XDA Communuity,
first of all....Excuse my worse english
I have a big problem. I use my LG g2 a few days with the last FW (android 4.4.2) - rooted and custom recovery.
With this FW my Whatsapp voice records are terrible. Also i want back to the older Android
4.2.2 (records are crystal clear)
I start my phone in download mode, and the phone stays in the screen with the white box and
the sign download modus. The PC dont recognize the phone.
Suddenly the Phone goes in bootloop.the only thing whats works is the recovery
Is it possible to repair the download mode ? i found a command (internet) for the terminal
in the recovery but it dont works...
I also found a script "to unbrick" the device under adb. but it seems that adb dont works...
the pc recognize a adb device (i start the recovery) but adb does nothing...
What can i do ?
Greeting wächti
solved the problem - i had to format the internal memory....

Hello guys,
I searched on the net but didn't find any answers. I'll try to be clear : Today I flashed my international G2 with the LG flash tool. Everything worked fine. Then, when I tried to put a new rom on the phone (by using a custom recovery), I made a mistake and soft-bricked the LG. Now I can still access to the download mode, but the tool doesn't work anymore when i plug the phone in download mode. I tried to reinstall the drivers, but my computer doesn't seem to see anything...
What's wrong ?
Precision : At each time, my phone was rooted, but this morning when I succeed, nothing was written in the download mode and now, I see the word "rooted" in the bottom of the screen.
Hi all, looking for advice, thanks in advance.
I'm a noob so bear with me with the terminology
I have tried this method - [FIX] NO Recovery mode, No download mode, after OTA on rooted LG G2 - on my LG G2 after a failed attempt to install the CloudyG3 Custom Rom. It restored and installed TWRP and couldn't boot to anything else. I did not have any files on the the phone's internal memory such as a ROM ready to flash.
...a few confusing steps trying to put files on the phone later (which I can't recall now ) I restarted the phone and now it simply became stuck at the LG logo. It is able to go into Download Mode (photo attached) but is different than before which looked like a two arrows in a circle. It does not respond to the 'LG Support Tool, UpTestEX and KDZ file' method. It starts downloading and installing the firmware then stalls at 15% everytime.
So I returned to - [FIX] NO Recovery mode, No download mode, after OTA on rooted LG G2 - using Ubuntu to restore the imgs and get TWRP back at least. Instead of seeing a large list of paths like before:
/dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda5
/dev/sdb1 /dev/sdb2 /dev/sdb3 /dev/sdb4
/dev/sdb5 .......... /dev/sdb36
Click to collapse
All I see now is just:
/dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda5
Click to collapse
I don't what else to do now, just holding onto the fact my phone isn't a complete brick! Any solution would be appreciated!

i didnt understand u . can u get in twrp mode ? if u can then u can restore the full download mode from there
can you see your phone on Windows ?
Thanks for replying so far guys.
azher98: right now i cannot access TWRP. It can only boot into Download Mode, or just stays at the 'LG G2 logo' screen.
jelly'K: Whenever I plug it into Windows using USB, it does not recognise it as removable storage or device. No system notifications, no pop-up dialogs and it isn't available in Windows Explorer.

it can boot into Download mode so you can flash .kdz file !
Jelly'K: That's the problem I try to but my computer doesn't recognise it under 'Device Manager'.
I tried installing the drivers through the LG Tools, but nothing again.
When I start up the LG Support Tool to select the KDZ file (with correct settings) it starts to verify the phone and then stops around 15% and an error message comes up saying the phone is not connected.
This is where it should seem easy to fix but not the case!
Hello XDA,
I stupidly put my G2 in bootloop. It is 802, 20h, stock rom/recovery and rooted with ioroot.
I managed to break it by removing the LGweather.apk and LGslideaside.apk from system app because I was tired of seeing them taking memory for no reason. After a reboot, it is blocked at LG logo.
I have made a nandroid backup some time ago through an app so I have those APK on my computer, I just need to put them back with adb.
I can get it to download mode (picture here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58181792&postcount=4), but I can't get adb to detect the device although I tried many drivers.
My question are: Am I losing my time by trying to have adb work or it is a driver problem and it will eventually be able to push the file if I can have the phone recognised by adb?
Should I try the hard reset offered through the keys combination? I am very much afraid it would make it worse as I changed many things in the phone through xposed.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
Flash the SAME rom via lg flash tool (choose normal mode because it doesn't touch your files)

Well I would have prefered not to, but as I couldn't get adb to work and the hard reset only brought me back LG sound when bootlooping, I had to.
It worked wonderfully, thanks. I have to try to get root back now (even if it shows as rooted in download mode).
The rooted is more like cosmetic

Hello everyone..
I have bought my Lg g2 d802 few days ago and when I tried to root it and install recovery using autorec the phone screen went black after rebooting into recovery and still in that state.. no led, no download mode , no recovery nothing else just white lines on left corner.... I tried it to get its software repair but they said that the lcd has been fused and need to be replaced ...
I tried to connect it to pc and it is showing marshall london adb interface and in another pc it is showing Android with yellow mark which turned in to Android adb interface after installing drivers from internet
I tried fastboot.exe and adb.exe but no device found error in adb mode but some commands working as fastboot..
I want to know is there a Hardware problem or it is a software issue??
Kindly help me to fix this issue...

Hello,
I want upgrade my LG G2 with a new rom 5.xX
This phone have only the operator update. No custom, no trwp, nothing...
I installed drivers and when i want access to download mode. I can't. I use the good proccess with vol up then plug usb cable always with vol up presses.
follow this procces after a little moment my phone show me battery logo charging.
So i can't access to download mode.
I would use this process
t was NOT bricked. I finally tried playing around with the LG Mobile Support Tool (B2CAppSetup.exe). Of course it detected that my phone already had the latest firmware from T-Mobile, but then I clicked Options>Upgrade Recovery.
It downloaded for a while then I noticed it had put my phone into download mode (it said "Rooted" in red letters at the bottom). Then it flashed the same firmware over and I immediately tested, it entered download mode right away. But I didn't end up needing that as Stumproot was able to brute force it now after the recovery flash.
Anyway, I couldn't find an answer anywhere else. Most results also have a bricked phone, but that wasn't my issue. This solved my problem and maybe it could work for others.
but it's impossible for me to install B2appsetup on my pc the installation begin then stop after 5s then nothing.
I have Win 10.
Do you have a solution for me , please??
