I can't post in the cm11 forums because I'm a new user, but in all of the custom roms that I've tried that feature AOSP doubletwist isn't working. It says "connected to computer" and it's not. Is there an issues with MTP or has that been ironed out yet?

I have been having issues using custom roms on my phone. I tried installing several roms (stable releases) and my phone acts up in different ways. My recent attempt was with paranoid android 3.99 rc2 which I assumed is very popular so it should work well. The problem I am having is that it does not connect to the cell network at all (phone and data). If anyone has seen something like this before please let me know what I might be doing work. Thank you.
check you apn settings.
Disclaimer: I searched THIS forum over the last 8 months and I did not find any mention of this issue.
I have this issue in all custom ROMs I tried (CM11, LiquidSmooth and OmniRom) and not in the stock rom and its derivatives (like Negalite and ACHERON).
I have Pioneer DEH-4500BT stereo. Bluetooth connection gets set up properly, but the default audio player (Smart Audiobook Player) app does not get automatically started the next time I start the car. This happens with ALL the custom ROMs but with none of the stock derived ROMs. (I mean: in the stock derived ROMs, the Smart Audiobook Player restarts when I start the car with stereo in BT-AUDIO position. Not so with any of the custom ROMs. To confound the matters, If I cycle through the inputs - BT-AUDIO -> AUX -> TUNER -> BT-AUDIO, Smart Audiobook player restarts properly once I reach BT-AUDIO again).
Also, CM11 and LiquidSmooth restart Smart Audiobook Player appropriately on Samsung Galaxy Nexus (which was my default device till last week).
Much as I like Negalite And ACHERON implementations, I like LiquidSmooth a lot and I would like it to be my daily driver.
The only reason I am asking this question here, instead of LiquidSmooth thread is that this issue is common to all the custom ROMs.

I just tried installing the LAST cm11 for jfltespr image before unified stream (cm-11-20140217-NIGHTLY-jfltespr.zip) and this issue (no bluetooth autoplay) is not there in that image. This rom (old as it is) is going to be my DD for now.
One more piece of puzzle: I updated to latest stable (M8) of the unified via the cyanogenmod updater. Exact same issue of no autoplay on Bluetooth. I reverted to my backup quickly.
Can anybody tell me how to debug this issue (bluetooth autoplay not reaching the concerned media player) in unified roms?
Thanks.
I used to have USB audio out when on Android 4.4 but now all the Lollipop roms that I've tried don't seem to let me use it. I've tried CM, the standard GPE and some others but still the same.
Googling isn't helping so is it a limitation of Android 5 or have some ROMS removed it? If someone has it on a Lollipop ROM please let me know and I'll install it!
On stock rom 5.0.1 I had the NUPlayer option under Development menu.
After flashing Ressurrection REmix 7.1.1 This option is vanished.
This was the only option for me to avoid video in slowmo and no sound issue.
Is there any possibility to have the option back? Is this just hidden?

I think it has been removed because they abandoned the old player in favor of the new one. And since there's only one player, there's no need for that option.
I haven't seen it on any ROM since lollipop.

Hi Everyone,
So I have a very strange issue and am hoping somebody can help me out here. On my Nexus 6P, whenever I install a custom Android Pie ROM, I get an error that pops up every second saying "Bluetooth Keeps Stopping" with only 2 options available; Close and App info. This only happens on Custom Android Pie ROMs. If I try a custom Android 8.1.0 Oreo ROM, the issue does not happen, only on Android 9. This cannot be a hardware issue right, as the Bluetooth works exceptionally well on Android 8.1.0, but the issue is only related to Android 9. Can someone please help me out with this?
The help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance
