Is there some ROM existing for NEXUS 7 (2012), where it is possible to mirror Nexus screen to Samsung Smart TV? I´d like to play "Real Racing 3" on the TV.
Take a Chromecast stick and it will work. But with stuttering.

Hello,
Has anyone had the same problem with Note2 ?
When I connect to my samsung led tv with the mhl adapter , the picture on the tv is very pixelated.
The tv shows a 30hz message when connected op phone.
Does anyone know why this is happening. My phone is on android 4.3.
I have the same issue i have a Samsung smart 40 inch tv but when i play games it is laggy because of the 30hz but my tv supports 200hz any solution or mods to fix this issue?
Are you using the official Samsung mhl adapter or a third party one?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Yes official mhl adapter. Worked fine in an older note 2 on 4.1.2 custom rom.
The same problem occurs in another Samsung galaxy phone (galaxy mega ) on stock 4.2.2.
Maybe Samsung changed something in newer updates ?
which one works best with shield tv and the remote and controller
is there a way for only prime content to be displayed rather rent
thanks
The latest works fine in FHD and DTS+.
Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade my trusty Nexus 7 (2013). I've been watching some HEVC / H.265 compressed TV shows / movies recently and the Nexus can't seem to cope any longer. This tablet seems like a good buy at under £200. I was also looking at the Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite and Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, all around the same price. I like the fact the screen can go over 500nits and I've got a Samsung S8 which I'm really happy with.
Would anyone recommend this as a good media consumption device? It'll mainly be used for Plex, Netflix and playing TV/Movies from the SD card. Can it play 1080p HEVC compressed files without a hitch? That's the deal breaker for me. I think this Exynos chip can decode H.265 native but I'd like to know what real-world use is like before investing.
Thanks in advance.
I have played HD Bluray 1080p on my Tab A 10.1 with s Pen. It plays it fine using VLC video player app. If I use the stock video app, I get no sound. I have both tablets: Tab A 10.1 & Tab A 10.1 with S Pen. The S pen version has a slightly bigger battery and 3 GB of ram. It's really difficult to kill the battery all in one day of use. I'm not a heavy user, so I rarely charge it.
I don't see "Live Caption" (not "captions or Closed Captioned") on Nvidia Shield TV Pro. I have "Live Caption" on my OnePlus Pro 7 smartphone. I watch videos on facebook and twitch. I wish they add it in Nvidia Shield TV Pro.
I second that. It makes A LOT more sense to bring live caption to a TV than have it on your smartphone..
Hello,
My. TV broke and while we. wait for repair, we have been using my Girlfriends Chromebook to play video from usb stick, but its tiresome to always have to transfer video to usb.
Is there a way that I can cast video from my phone through VLC or SOUL browser to play on the chromebook, just like I do with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and chromecast on my TV?
The chromebook is Acer CB3-131-C3SZ which has reached end of updates with latest and final being 93.0.4577.107
Thank you in advance
Jan
