Can someone upload a copy of their build.prop? But it must be from a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 WiFi or Galaxy Tab Pro Wifi. I only need the build id and build manufacturer, so you know what it is from the the bove devices then you dont need to upload it. I want to buy MC5 for my Tab 4 7.0 but its marked as incompatible in in the Play Store.

Go to Settings > About tablet and tell me your model number and I can probably help you. For example, mine is SM-T530NU, I have a 10.1. The 7, 8, and 10.1 all have a few different model numbers. If you know yours, it's a lot easier figuring out which roms are right for you in the development section
SOLUTION FOUND
You must go and change build.prop lines with:
ro.build.flavor=hero2ltexx-user
ro.product.model=SM-G935F
and
ro.product.name=hero2ltexx
ro.product.device=hero2lte
Hello to everyone. Yesterday I bumped in to a problem. I had a NOTE 7 Based ROM installed (OnTheEdgeLite to be exact) and I tried to watch with my GEAR VR. When I plugged the phone I was told that I needed to run the VR Setup Wizard. I did unplugged it and tried hitted Next on the setup. A message popped up and told me that since I have a Note 7 I should stop continue using it and the Wizard stopped. Tried other Note 7 based ROMS and I had the same issue. I did some reading and I found out that OCULUS disabled VR for NOTE 7 (check here http://www.androidcentral.com/oculus-disables-gear-vr-compatibility-note-7). And I had changed before using the VR the model on build.prop (replaced SM-N930F with SM-G935F). Did anyone find a workaround? I like the Note 7 ROMs basically because battery life is much better for me. Thanks in advance

I had the same problem. But for me the solution was to edit the build.prop. I change the model to S7 Edge (SM-G935F).

Solution after all is to change other lines too. I had already changed the model and it wasn't working
You must change these:
ro.build.flavor=graceltexx-user
ro.product.model=SM-N930F
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.name=graceltexx
ro.product.device=gracelte
to these:
ro.build.flavor=hero2ltexx-user
ro.product.model=SM-G935F
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.name=hero2ltexx
ro.product.device=hero2lte
Hello. I am completely new to modding and installing premade OS to older tablets/phones. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 - SM-T537A. It has a very old Android OS on it and I can't update it due to not having AT&T anymore. I have seen people talking about LineageOS. Is it possible for someone to explain to me how I would go about using that on my tablet? Is that tablet even compatible with LineageOS? Please keep in mind, I am totally new to this. Any help would be appreciated.
