[Q] Development 4.0.3 to regular 4.0.3

I updated from stock 3.2.1 to 4.0.3 using a rom that I downloaded from XDA because I was not receiving the OTA upgrade and got impatient. The upgrade went fine.
My current build number is: Acer_AV041_A500_1.033.00_PA_CUS1
Is there any difference from the OTA upgrade? If so, how can I go about changing from this rom to the regular version?

Do I need to update gapps to the newest 4.2.2 release?

I have been running the CM10.1 Nightlies since late January and I originally installed the gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip file. Now that the latest gapps for 4.2.2 is out(gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip) do I need to install these? I haven't had to re-install gapps after updating a nightly and I'm not sure if the google apps themselves update to the respective 4.2.2 version.
Thanks.
Shouldn't matter but when your flashing next time just use the new ones I've flashed the old ones and everything still functions as it should.

I guess (nearly) nobody got the ota update yet. Wait until you get it or you could install the zip (when it's uploaded) via adb sideload

you can update to android 4.3 manually
Head to the google developers page https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#occam and download version 4.3
Searching works wonders.

KitKat Update after update

I recently downloaded the kitkat update linked from there and did a fast boot install. This morning I checked my Nexus 7 and it said I had a system update to 4.4 available to download and install.
I was under the impression these were exactly the same update. Why would it upgrade my upgrade?
Also the installation I have has glitch kernel installed. I thought everything had to be stock to get the update?
And by the way I know people are tracking who is getting the OTA update and where. I live in Iwakuni Japan .

KitKat KRT16O was the first release. KitKat KRT16S is the update.
You probably installed KRT16O and got the KRT16S via OTA update.

That's because the KRT16S kernel is exactly the same as the KRT16O kernel so it wasn't included in the ota update. That allowed your existing kernel to stay in place and not get overwritten.

Pretty sure you won't be able to get an OTA update on stock with a custom recovery installed.

I believe You will need to flash back to stock using a nexus 7 toolkit (wugfresh or skip softs) only way to get an official OTA update.
Also, how do you have 30gb of data in your device when only 26-27gb is usable??
