A friend just got a Verizon S5, and she's seeing a couple notifications, but there's nothing showing in the notification menu, and I don't recognize them. Does anyone on here know what app's causing them?

I'm on a rooted Nexus 4 with stock 4.3. Could somebody please help me out with a few questions?
First of all, how do I dismiss a notification that says "This app is currently running. Touch here for more info" without completely disabling notifications for that app? Like in the first attached picture.
Second, when 4.3 leaked, there were all these screenshots of a Notifications menu and of a Notification History menu. I can't seem to find this anywhere within Settings. Where can I find either of these? Like in the second attached picture.
No as of now you can't remove the notification its a 4.3 feature.

That is just plain stupid. What if multiple apps are doing that? Then my entire notification bar is full.

But what about that Notification Access/Listeners page?
Is there anyway to stop the screen from turning on when receiving a notification, or do we need a custom recovery for that? Thanks!
We need at least a moded mms apk with the setting for screen on toggle. I did see one in the T-Mobile section but I don't know if it will work on ours.

I had to download a 3rd party sms app because the phone would start launching lockscreen apps while in pocket.
There are now mods in the app and themes section.

Hi All
I have looked everywhere to see if there is anything i may have done but cannot find out how this has happened, it just seems to have disappeared, I use the Samsung Galaxy S4 Music Player app, have been used to changing the track in the lock screen, but lately have noticed that this has disappeared.
I have noticed that in My (Settings / My Device / Lock Screen / Lock Screen Widgets) location, the Favorite Apps or Camera has been grayed out and i am unable to select this to be on or off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope that i am posting this in the right thread, and have tried looking on here to see if anyone else has had the same issue, but either am being stupid or i cannot see it. (Just copied this to the Q&A Section but cannot delete from the General.. )

on a note of this, I just tried using Deezer and that seems to work okay in the lock screen, has there been an update on the Samsung music app that i am unaware of?

I have a galaxy note 3. I have a few questions and i hope you guys may be able to help me with it.
1) How do i disable Whatsapp Message Preview when i pull the notification bar. It normally shows the persons name and message content. I only want a notification that states i have a message and not from who and what.
2) IS there a way i can excess camera even when i am on my lock screen with pattern enabled. Maybe there is a good 3rd party app that you guys are using. i have tried some but they are not stable.

I've searched everywhere and I'm unable to find an answer to this....
My wife intermittently gets this "mystery" notification icon from time to time which essentially duplicates notifications such as sms, hangouts, emails, instagram, etc...
Does anyone know what this is and how to disable it? I'm not aware of any third party notification handler installed on her S5, so I can only assume it's something standard in stock. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes my wife will have that same icon appear more than once up top in the notification bar, and when swiping it down it will reveal more than one duplicate notification. I just want to know if the icon is a "standard" icon for miscellaneous notifications when there is more than one, or if there is something else going on that I need to look into. Again, it is intermittent and happens once or twice a day on average.
