I have a galaxy note 3. I have a few questions and i hope you guys may be able to help me with it.
1) How do i disable Whatsapp Message Preview when i pull the notification bar. It normally shows the persons name and message content. I only want a notification that states i have a message and not from who and what.
2) IS there a way i can excess camera even when i am on my lock screen with pattern enabled. Maybe there is a good 3rd party app that you guys are using. i have tried some but they are not stable.

Hey guys. I am an N4 user, but I just bought my girlfriend a GS4. She's discovered a problem that I can't find an answer to.
Is there a way to have text messages preview ONLY in the status bar and notifications? It is very useful to have the preview of the message in the status bar and expanded notifications. However, it seems that the only way to enable this is to simultaneously enable the preview on the lock screen. Even with a secure lock screen, the preview of the message is still there. It seems odd for the control for two completely severable features to be bundled together in this manner. This creates a completely unnecessary compromise between convenience and security. Not to mention that even with the preview option turned off, a message identifying the sender still shows up on even a secure lock screen. I am thinking that I must be missing something in the widgets options, and I can remove this text "widget" (which is exactly what it is in practice) completely from the lock screen without sacrificing the convenience of previewing the message through the status bar and expanded notifications.
So, any advice? I'm guessing switching to a third-party messaging app might work, but I (and she) heavily prefer the stock messaging apps. I am looking to avoid this and simply find a solution while still allowing for the stock messaging app. I am going to try Lockscreen Policy in a few, and I'll report back on that. The idea came to me while typing this up.
EDIT: Looks like Lockscreen Policy did the trick. The message still previews in the status bar on the lock screen, but the text message widget that was the major problem is now gone. Unfortunately this trick prevents access to all other lock screen widgets.

İ got a problem about making the "dashclock" lock-screen widget default even when received a message or a call. The problem is s4's own and also invisible " lockscreen notification widget". when i receive a message or call, the s4's widget is always shows itself before the dashclock. So it's not possible to use the dashclock in tihs way.
Can anyone have a solution or it has to stay like that

Got rid of the issue easily finally by Blocking my Notifications access
Hi,
This has worked for me since yesterday, earlier my phone use to get locked every ten seconds or so and I was not at all able to use it.
I was having a gut feeling that the issue of locking and changing wallpaper is face most of the times when some Message is about to arrive or some notification from some application is poping up on screen.
For this yesterday what i did is as follows:
Settings > Notifications > Pop-up notifications are disabled
When device is locked
Don't show notifications at all
App notifications
Messaging
blocked
Notification access
Theme chooser - It can be allowed as ticked only,no other app
Filter notifications
To do this , when a notification pops up,
say mostly it is for low battery which will lock the screen almost after few seconds.
Press and hold the notification popup message and click on the icon to filter it then it will show under Filter notifications tab.
Select above things in Settings menu and Im sure the problem might get solved for you also.
Only drawback being you cannot see the notification on Locked screen but the blinking green and white light tells about new notifications.

Main thing is to block the popup notifications , as soon as these are disabled. Screen wil not get locked.changes might reflect after a phone restart.

Can someone please tell me how to get rid of that "Too many notifications?" notification.
That is always showing up and if I long press I cant choose not ´to show notifications (its grayed out).
I already tried to Notifications off (root) app and choose Security not to show notifications but I still always having that notification.
Its so annoying.

Anyone? I see all people complaining that Meizu does not care with customers, but I am starting to see that Meizu user community does not give a f*ck with other users.

Since I do not carry my mobile permanently with me, I had with my Ulephone Power 3 the possibility to me with receipt of a message (WhatsApp, telephone call etc.) on the lock screen an icon to indicate. So I could always take a look at it in passing and knew when I had to pick up the phone.
I did not find this function on the Redmi Note 7.
You can set in the menu, the notifications on the lock screen are displayed, but this is only briefly the case and then they are hidden again.
As the Note 7 notification LED is barely visible, it would be nicer to have the lock screen notification permanently visible.
Can someone help me there?
Sorry I can't offer much help. Certain apps just don't seem to work with this phone in regards to notifications.
i.e. Flashscore for football notifications would not work at all but Livescore did.
Whatsapp is very inconsistent, it can do a number of things.
