I tried toggling expanded desktop on and off but noticed no difference, so what is it for?
bye
I do have the same question
I belive it hides the top bar and bottom soft keys. Basically show the "desktop" in full screen mode.
Or it should.

Not sure when this started, but if a program has buttons near the bottom of the screen, in portrait or landscape, they're partially covered at the moment by the softkeys bar - the bar that says Calendar + Contacts eg....
It's really making my MySportTraining in particular a ***** to use, coz it's tabs are all at the bottom. Any thoughts?

Hey,
I can personally tell you that the bottom bar will fade to black with little tiny point/dots that indicate where the back, home, etc buttons are. its no longer obtrusive when playing movies. its not "controllable" tho.
Is there a way, or an app, which will let me use Samsung's "quick settings" buttons from the notification area as widgets on my home screen?

So far I've been using Widgetsoid to create "fake" toggle icons but it would be great if there was a way to put the "real" icons on the home screen.
Cheers
My touchscreen has poor sensitivity on the bottom. Is there a way in CM11 to map the slide from bottom gesture which temporarily shows navbar/status bar to pressing home button? I don't want to toggle expanded desktop, that would be different.
I'd like to maximize screen real estate. Is there a way to auto hide the navigation bar at the bottom?
