Download and install Towelroot, run it. Download supersu, busybox, and safestrap. Install. For roms, follow devs instructions to install their roms. Do not skip a step.

thats gonna be the best way.

I just need to install that on my phone, or computer?...I guess I thought I was going to have to do work with drivers and some other things, and then link the phone up o the computer and all that other stuff...
Anyways thank you very much for your quick help so far!
I think you only need a pc to Odin anything to install modded roms. Nc4 is roots with towelroot, then you just install supersu, busybox, and safestrap and run them.

Make sure you download safestrap 3.75

Are you downloading to a pc? If so which browser are you using? As far as I know to download a stock rom, go to sammobile.com . It's a pain in the butt to log in and everything but once it works, you can download the stock rom from them and flash it via odin. I just did that with my note 10.1 to return it to stock.

I have a weird problem with my S5 900f running Lollipop BTU. Rooted with chainfire. Issue is that after rooting when i restart my phone it sometimes says "android is updating and then everythig starts crashing....system is not responding etc etc" i have disabled sytem updates aswell . First i thought it was cuz of Twrp and i flashed stock recovery with flashify but still happened today.........it happens randomly while restarting my phone and then if it gets stuck i have to go to recovery and hit "clear cache and clear update from cache" to be able to boot.....i have also tried different firmwares any clue why this might be happening?

HI all,
I'm used to just sticking a couple of zips in Odin and calling it a day, but it looks like in the past couple of years Flashfire / Safestrap have become the go-to method for flashing our phones.
I am interested in flashing this Rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/development/bsfreelollipop5-0rombpb1based-t3331541 Unfortunately there aren't any clear instructions on how to do so with Flashfire for someone who hasn't done that before. My S5 is currently running 4.4.4 / NK2 and is rooted.
I tried to correlate other Flashfire instructions threads with this ROM but nothing has been clear enough for me. The Play store beta link for flashfire just gives a 404.
Can someone be kind enough to please provide the proper link to get the right version of Flashfire, and some clear instructions on how to flash this ROM with it?
Thank you so much!
Try this link for Chains Flashfire.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.flash

First you to go back to Stock Pb1 Rom
Download PB1 stock firmware and flash in Odin.
---------- Post added at 09:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:44 PM ----------
Also check your CID in order to unlock your bootloader.
---------- Post added at 09:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:46 PM ----------
MARSHMALLOW 6.0.1 CANNOT BE ROOTED you have will have to back to lollipop and start root procedure.
Intall this app to check your CID if its start with 15
Then you can unlock your bootloader and possibly root on 6.0.1

First download vzw lollipop PB1 stock rom.
You can search in xda for download link

6.0.1 can be rooted and if you are going to odin flash lollipop why? Flash twrp in odin mode then flash supersu zip through twrp. Boom rooted then can flash any rom you want. Easy I've rooted every phone this way. Simple
Hello friends I have installed custom rom 7.1.1 usimg twrp recovery in lenovo a6000 plus but doing this process i had forgotten to take nonandroid backup of stock rom now i want to install stock rom can anyone give the process how to install it
first download stock rom and place it in ur external memory Card. Reboot into Recovery mod & flash LP to KK swicher, and then flash stock recovery via ADB after that flash the Stock rom using Stock Recovery.

Are you continuing to check Samsung Members for the official update? I expect the 1st update possibly this week or next and if it's like Pie beta, it may become available to others not running the initial version.
I did this last night to my att s10+ . I flashed the bsi4 firmware in Odin then installed the update from an external sd card.

Add androidsage. Com into the link I posted .. that's the directions. You should definitely learn to use Odin and find firmware before doing this. More important to know how to dig yourself out when you inevitably soft brick.
Is wifi calling still available after updating to the new one ui?
You need SI4. The zip has been posted here. It says TMobile but it flashes att if you have an att SIM card. Just download it, put it onto an external SD card, reboot in recovery and apply update from SD card.
Edit: I have it in my GDrive. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K0Iy-5zYB8v8vKNrVo1clFaIJbZRvkrK/view?usp=drivesdk
