I don't know if it makes a difference but I used the eyeballer guide to flash cm to internal memory.
I also can't change the permissions to the storage/sdcard0 folder it just wont let me edit the internal memory

It is possible that your media partition is not formatted properly. What makes me think that is you have problems with both CM7 and CM10. Did you have problems with stock? You say you just got the NC, new or used from somebody else?
You can try my format zip from my emmc repair thread linked in my signature. But if it is new and under warranty, I would put stock back on it and get a different one from B&N. See my NC Tips thread also linked in my signature for how to put stock back on it. See item A15.

NFS MW - How to transfer from old device to my new N4

Hi,
I've just brought a new N4 and transferring everything from the sd card (old phone) to new N4 but I'm facing a problem. I manually copied everything but not sure how to transfer NFS MW gaem progress from my old device (HTC ONE V) to new N4, I've root enabled in the old phone but can anyone please help me to restore the game progress from old phone. I searched this forum but couldn't find any solution. A link would be helpful to this topic. Mates, any suggestion please. Cheers.
Anyway thanks in advance.
Just copy the android folder from old device to the new one.

I've copied the android folder but it seems restored the downloaded data, not the game progress data. Probably progress is saved in system/data partition (probably). Any idea dude ??

After transferring have you tried signing in to origin?

How to move games to sd card?

Hi there,
How do I move games to sd card? Tried to Need for speed which is over 1GB inn size. But when I pressed move to sd card, only few mb were moved. Can someone explain to me, how to do it properly.
Edit: it is not only Need for speed who do not want to move, but other games too.

That's because it only moves the app itself to the external sd card, not the data of the game.
For moving those files I'd recommend using foldermount. It does require root tho.
If you are already rooted however, you can find it at the playstore.

But how do I know where the data of the is located?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
Most of the times it's either located at /storage/sdcard0/android/obb or at /storage/sdcard0/android/data.
You can use any file Explorer to look where the files are located.

This app called 'My Device Storage Analyzer' helps nicely in finding where big files and data directories are hidden :good:

[Q] Going to ASOP from TW, will it screw up my internal SD?

As the title says, I thinking about going to an ASOP rom, probably something 4.3.
Is this going to screw up the format of my internal SD? I know there were major problems with this going to 4.1 to 4.2, creating multiple "0" folders.
Will I be able to go back to TW and still have all my info in tact?
Didn't see anything related to this question in the first 20 pages of this forum.
Everything will still be intact except youl have folder 0

What if I decide to go back to a TW 4.2.2 ROM?

Nothing gets erased, just remap your sd card folders manually if anything gets changed

I just flashed the hyper drive rom.....and WOW. As soon as I get some money I will contribute!!!! Anyway after I flashed the rom I noticed after my screen booted up at the top in the status bar next to the 4G there's something that looks like a "eye" can anyone tell me what that is and will it remain there if so can I get rid of it? Thanks to all the bad as devs out there I'm so thankful for all that you people do!!! For all that it's worth I really really want to say THANK YOU!
It's called smart stay. It checks via the phone camera to see if you ate looking at the screen, and if you are it keeps the phone from going to sleep

Before I flash a rom like hyper drive first I create a rom slot next do I wipe data dalvik, then cache on the new rom slot?
Then flash the rom in the created rom slot. Just wanna make sure. Also when I'm charging my phone on hyper drive rom when I turn off my phone and turn it back on it goes back to stock rom and the S'S splash screen doesn't appear upon turning on, doesn't do that when I'm not charging the phone.
Also I used to have 32GB, of phone storage now I only have 1.89GB, just wondering how to fix the storage
Sent from my SM-N900V using xda app-developers app
There's no way to "fix" the storage. From what I have been told, the system reads it wrong and you only have that much storage for installing apps ( in your case, 1.89GB ). You still have access to the rest of your storage. You can still store pictures, songs, movies, data. Using ES File Explorer, you can see how much space you have left. I was able to successfully download over 3GB of movies on my internal storage despite it saying I had less than 2GB of space left.

What version of Xposed installer do I need, I have Version 2.3.1 installed. I keep getting this message "The app is not activated in the Xposed framework", or you have not rebooted your device. I have rebooted. I'm not sure if I have it activated, but it's showing up in the installer.

I also flashed the Super SU app

Go to Hyperdrive Tweaks, Xposed, Framework Installer, Framework. Check to see if you can Install/Update. You should be in the green with matching numbers for active/bundled.
I suggest removing/editing your post about Blackmart Alpha. Using those kinds of apps are not allowed here and is frowned upon. Plus it's illegal.

No problem. Stupid me
I have a question hope you can help me out. In safe strap in rom slot 1 is my stock rom slot 2 is hyper drive and slot 3 is beans rom. Shouldnt my stock rom be on the right in the stock slot and hyper should be in slot 1 and beans in slot 2? If so i need help on placing the roms in the right place. I have used TWRP for along time on my note 2 but SS is new for me. Sorry if im asking dumb questions. And thank you in advance for any help you provide.
Sent from my SM-N900V using xda app-developers app
Looks like you didn't install anything on your Stock slot. When you reboot your phone make sure you active the partition that you want that particular ROM in. So for stock, activate stock and install stock backup (you did make a backup right?) and then you can then activate Slot 1 for HD and then Slot 2 for Beans. I would wipe/factory reset the ROM Slots before installing anything on top so you have a clean install.
