Hello, I am trying to reset an Galaxy S4 I9500 to stock rom, but Odin fails to flash the main rom after flashing the recoveries etc.

Previously the phone was on stock Chinese ROM, Android 4.4.2. I successfully flashed both Twrp and Cwm recoveries (Not simultaneously of course) but both failed to boot and the phone always just booted into the stock recovery. So I tried straight up flashing it back to stock.
I have tried both the Turkish and Indian Rom but both give the error that writing failed after system.img.
I have tried using different versions of ODIN, different USB cable, different USB port, re install drivers. Kies also refused to do a emergency recover after I entered the S/N, saying the S4 wasn't compatible. Now the phone says a firmware upgrade failed and it will only boot into download mode, no recovery. Download mode says:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9500
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 1
AP SWREV: A3
Is there any other solution to this? Might it be because the phone had a Chinese Rom I can only flash the Hong kong Firmware? Do I need to flash a pit file? Is there any other rom I can try to flash through ODIN? Quick help would be appreciated, I need to get the phone working by tomorrow midday.

U should nt try of downgrading from 4.4.2
Quick question
I have the same problem and i wish to go back to 4.3 jellybean because the gyroscope its not working when i try to install the rom 4.4.2 in odin fail the same so if you can point me where to look. that would be great. ( i apologize for my low tech knowledge and my english)
For now I think there is no way to downgrade as because of bootloader
So, I was trying to flash my custom rom to my SCH-i545 (Verizon S4) and now it's stuck in download mode!
It's an NC5 and android 4.4.2 (I think) . Pretty much every forum i visited said to use TWRP and Safestrap, but after flashing the custom recovery and rebooting, it would not leave download mode. Tried flashing a custom recovery with odin, and it fails.
Phone output:
Could not do normal boot.

Tried the recovery mode combo at least 20 times, to no avail. Any help for this noob?
Nevermind, i'm an idiot. I had the wrong .tar.md5
Hello guys... I have been at this for a few hours now. I own a Note 4 N910H. I had upgraded OTA to lollipop last month. I was reading some reviews on lollipop because I was experiencing a lot of bugs with the OS. A lot of people were having the same issues as me. So I decided to go back to kitkat. This is where my problem happens. I accidentely soft bricked my device.
Everything I've done:
Downloaded kitkat and tried to install via odin. (Didn't check developer settings prior, not sure if this was the problem)
Device soft bricked
Turned on my device and saw this message "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again.
Tried to access Kies, it said my device wasn't supported.
I googled around and saw an article saying I have to go back to lollipop.
I downloaded lollipop and tried to install via odin. It failed again with the same error when I turn on my device.
All help will be greatly appreciated. I really hope I don't have to send my phone back. I don't have a backup lol.

Would that root my device? I don't want to void my warranty. If it doesn't void it, how do I go about doing those steps? This whole thing is driven me nuts.
Edit: THANK YOU!!! All is good now!
Use a pit file for it. Because your hidden partition fails. Or you can Flash your latest rom with no error. I think you re trying another rom from your latest.
I restarted my phone and it went into FRP lock. I can only access download mode and do not have access to recovery. I have tried downloading stock firmware using Odin but it fails every time. When ever I download something from Odin I get this

Any suggestions on how I can get into my phone!?
Try using Samsung smartswitch while phone is in download mode and use the reinstall feature and see if that cannot help you get back to stock (and a working phone)
I have SM G928F , had same problem. I downgraded the bootloader and succeeded in putting new recovery on my phone and then flashed custom Rom….
Hope this helps.

Hello everyone, mazzie66 could you please explain how you downgraded your bootloader. Thanx
s6 edge+ bricked by frp
I bought second hand s6 edge + g928f blocked google account.
i have the imei and s / n number but i do not know what firmware it had on it.
now it's just download mode or recovery.
I flashed 3-4 firmware stock successfully, but it gets into recovery when it opens.
I used odin / z3x.
I have edited the firmware and combined them with boot / modem / sboot / hidden etc.
I searched in vain how I could learn the former firmware version.
with the smart switch after entering the model and telling her to contact the service center. with kies the same. i just know it is 7.0 encoded vodafone romania.
I've had some bugs with drk.
I would like to ask you how to install a custom rom (twrp) or pass frp lock.
Sorry for English.
This video can help to fix the black, bricked Samsung Galaxy phone, wish helpful with you.

Hello to all,
i am using an S4 GT-I9500 indian variant,
while flashing the phone with the stock firmware i did a mistake and clicked on the wrong button "BL" instead of "AP"
in my ODIN software and the operation failed with the button "BL".
now i tried to installing the firmware by using the "AP" button but i am getting the following message in the ODIN

Tried using Odin 3.07, the original Samsung usb cable, or a different usb 2.0 port?
