Hello guys, I'm using g2 since 2013 christmas, never had any problems, glitch with it, but after last software update (4.4.2) I have had problems with wifi. It's working well, but after let's say 4h of being connected and when I lock out my phone and then turn on again, wifi starting just turning on and it gets freezen (turning on forever) until I restart my phone. I haven't rooted it, so what is a problem?
very similar problem here, but with CloudyG3_1.2.
And after the tenth time or so, rebooting didn't help anymore.
A .kdz-flash-unroot-procedure didn't solve it either.

Hi ! I purchased recently my Acer Iconia A500, and so far I'm very impressed with it. The only concern I have is this annoying sleep of death issue. It occurs to me like 3x a day, everyday ! I've tried everything written by the people (setting airplane mode, disabling wifi when screen blackens, update) but with no success.. anyone knows if this is going to be fixed in the 3.1 update or any update by Acer ? Anyone successfully managed to solve this problem ? Thanks !
Just to know.. I really wish that it's a software problem because I live in Brasil and bought it last week in EUA, so I won't be able to change it xP
As I mentioned in another thread, this has never happened to me. Not before or after the update.
The only thing I may do different from anyone else is I leave USB debugging turned on, I have a password login and as you mention I set the wifi profile to turn off when the screen goes off.
If this is happening 3 times or more a day, I'd highly recommend replacing the tablet. Yes, I know that's extremely inconvenient in your case...
But, have you tried a reset to factory defaults? It's worth a shot...
Prior to the 1.141-update my tab had that too, several times a day. I've put a WiFi-toggle widget on my desktop to be able to switch off WiFi before putting the tablet to sleep - that almost completely got riid of the inresponsiveness after sleep.
After the update to 1.141 there is no need anymore to switch off WiFi while sleeping, the update fixed that problem. But introduced a new one: when disconnecting the charger the tablet sometimes stops responding after about 1 minute and needs a reset.
Hi there,
I have kind of a weird issue. I recently (3 weeks ago) I bought a Sony bravia KDL50W805BBAE2. All was fine with this TV until I received my SGS5 yesterday. After I started the phone and update all the Samsung software I started to notice my TV began to reboot suddenly. This occurs randomly, sometimes every 10 minutes, sometimes not for hours.
The reason I believe the SGS5 is causing this is because when I turn off WiFi on the SGS5 this behavior stops.
I have tried uninstalling the updates of AllshareCast Dongle S/W and turning off auto update. This seemed to have solve the issue, however it reoccurred after several hours.
I'm totally lost for now, I don't know what else I can do to break down this problem and find out what is causing this on the SGS5.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers Ronald
Hello all, I got my nexus 6P a few weeks ago and rooted w/ twrp since that day. Everything was great up until this morning;
I can't connect to any wifi networks, and when I try to after awhile the screen goes completely unresponsive followed by a crash and reboot after a while.
If I turn wifi off there's no crash and it works fine. But a soon as I turn it on there's issues.
I tried returning to stock, and it is able to connect to wifi (Not any 5ghz aps) but still gets unresponsive and crashes after a while.
I rerooted, twrp, ect, and am back in the same boat, wifi won't connect, I can see aps (Sometimes) but it refuses to connect to any, and then gets laggy and unresponsive.
as long as I don't turn on wifi, it works fine, which is super freaking weird...
Here is a logcat from boot to the crash, if it'll help someone help me try to determine the issue...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is getting frustrating...
Welp spent a bit on the phone with Google and I'm getting a replacement.
I have been using Yu Yureka for almost 9 moths now.
I was not having any other issue till last month.
But since last month, I am facing issues with my WiFi.
Few weeks ago, I was using my phone casually and everything was fine, but suddenly my WiFi got disconnected automatically. I just opened WiFi setting and seen that my router was visible.I just tried to reconnect it and it successfully got connected.
Then for some few days, this same issue was there. It just use to get disconnected oftenly.
But every time I open up my setting and after reconnecting it use to work fine.
Then after a couple of days later it as usually got disconnected and hence I opened settings again. This time, my router was not visible, even though the router was connected with my laptop.
So I rebooted my phone and got back to settings.
This time, WiFi was switched off and it was not turning on.
I tried to reboot my phone.
And after couple of reboot, it was switched on and I reconnect it.
It was annoying and I was fed up of this.
I was running official 5.0.2 cm12.
I choose to flash the latest official cm12.1 5.1.1 ,just because I thought it will help me out with this issue (yes my phone is rooted and have twrp installed).
After formatting my phone completely and flashing cm12.1 on cm12, I was hoping that now the issue will be gone but it was still there.
Conditions had gone worse.
Now it was disconnecting even more frequently.
So I decided to just wipe the system partition completely and install the ROM again.
I again flashed cm12.1
But condition gone worst.
Now at present,
My phone disconnects the WiFi as soon as I stop using the internet (as soon as phone stops receiving data from internet).
And once it disconnects, It doesn't show up any WiFi access point and I got to reboot the phone 3-5 times and there comes a reboot when the phone freezes for 5 seconds and again reboot 2 times by itself without me doing anything to it.
Then it turn on the WiFi automatically and I just have to go to setting to connect it to my router and it got connected.
If anyone have any solution regarding this issue, please help!
Facing the same issue, did you get any solution?
Head to service centre, I think its hardware issue not of software related.

Facing same pdoblem cannot be a hardware issue with multiple user showing same symptoms
Facing same problem
I got 2 LG G2 d800 and both started not connecting to wifi, it gets stuck on "turning on wifi", both happened on the same day so I don't think its a hardware problem probably an update of Google services, anyone has the same problem and maybe a solution?

I am experiencing the same problem since yesterday. It just says Turning Wi-Fi on... and it never turns on. It happened when I had my phone charging and noticed a facebook messenger update. The wifi has turned on and worked for a while (especially after some reboots) but then it got back to doing the same thing again. I have reset my phone but it doesn't let me do a hard reset using the power and volume down keys.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
sorry to say, but its broken (99%). i had the same problem. but my luck it was i guarantee time (short before end)

I have made it work for a few hours, somehow. I finally managed to figure out how to factory reset it. I did it a few times until the wifi was working completely.
I started downloading apps and it worked perfectly. Then I decided to try a reboot and the wifi when out again. The difference is that now I have a MAC address and before I didn't. It's still stuck but there's some progress, I guess.
I thought about rooting my phone, but I'm scared of ending up with a brink since I have never done it before.
Me too with my g2:
About 3 weeks that my wifi, hot spot & the stock radio app aren't working like they used to for 4 years!
Did factory reset but it didnt helped
