Hi all,
Please suggest the best ROM for the g pad to read comics and books.
I believe the ROM itself won't play a huge role.
I have used a stock and now I'm using CM11 M9, and both behave the same with the apps I use for reading (Mantano, Ebookdroid) and comics (Perfect Viewer).

Hey there,
Iam a newbie here an I want to know which ROM is the best or most stable at the moment?
Also it is not clear for me if I can jump back to the original ROM when I have uploaded e.g. LEO R1 ?
Is it maybe a better way to set up my own rom? So just upload features I need to the original etc.. ?
thanks alot

Yeah it is possible to switch back to the original stock ROM if u want. and btw, nobody can decide the best ROM for u. It completelt depends on what u want. My suggestion would be to try more than one ROM and see for yourself.
thanks for your answers!
i just need the normal stuff working very well.. i do not need special things... a good album, nice soundgallery, btw. i like the original weather app and the normal functions should work and look nicer than in the normal rom...
so I think I will test the leoR1 ROM..
for my other plan: are there any good sites to search for appz? or lists with good appz for the hd?
maybe you know a different rom for me to test?
best

There are whole forums dedicated to rom development and apps, software and themes for the Blackstone. Read these and use search.
There is also a wiki showing which apps and games work with the device. Short answer is there is a wealth of info in these forums, seek and yee shall find.
Just be aware that Dutty has deleted Manila in his rom so you won't be able to use the TF3D interface.
I'm actually testing Miri's Rev 7.1 which has just been realesed. Except IE (and consequently MS Widgets) everything works fine.

I'm still testing the rom (and WM6.5). Everything seems fine.
Just follow Miri's thread to be aware of any problem.

we're all willing to offer opinions/feedback on ROMs, however, you should also be willing to read the threads to determine which ROM will work for you. that's what the ROM threads are for - we've answered many of your questions in advance. do yourself and others in the community a favor: read, learn, pick a ROM, test it and contribute by providing constructive feedback. threads like yours are opened daily only to be closed by the moderators (i can see FallenSpartan making his way here now, lol). best wishes to you as well!
Vanilla
Before this thread is closed, which it should be, I suggest if you want to try a ROM newer than the last official HD ones but not cutting edge (aka buggy) try kwbr's Vanilla ROM. It's a port of Topaz to the HD.

Ciao
You've asked an opinionated question which is generally frowned against as everyone has different opinions, as well as loyalties to certain chef's. Plenty of people before you have already asked these questions and each time they get same result.........closure of thread.
Best advice would be to read first 4-5 posts of each rom thread, try a few roms and make your own conclusion. Plenty of people have already offered advice. Now its your turn to research and try.

I just got my T wing and it want let me plays youtube videos on the mediaplayer. some one please help. also how can i make my processor faster
Welcome to XDA developers. Please feel welcome to use the search button to find the answers to most of your questions. On that note, please read the forum rules. The Development forum is for development posts only. If you have any questions, please keep them in the Herald forum.
As far as playing youtube, there are a few youtube apps out there. You can overclock your processor but only a bit.
how do you overclock it do you do it from the phone or do you need an app. thanks for your reply
An app in the phone. There are a few available apps. Search around. You will find many posts referring to it as well as a LOT more stuff to play with. Try searching for "Omap overclock" to get better results.

The best rom for you is the latest CyanogenMod rom.. You can find it here..

Sorry, but "Best Rom" threads almost always end up in a flaming war as a result of arguing over subjective matters - therefore, this thread is closed.

Best ROM and Kernel questions are not allowed. Also depends on which rom you would like to try, latest being KitKat. Try them out, look in the development section and original development section to know all those roms which exist, read a little about them in the very first post (also includes the flashing procedure) and try them, see for yourself which one suits your requirement.
Mod Edit
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM/kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion, and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
Don't forget to make a nandroid before you start.

Hello all! I would like to ask which ROM is better for my specific use case in terms of performance, reliability, and battery life.
I watch a lot of videos using YouTube Vanced.
I browse the web using Brave.
I use Google News, Reddit, and the XDA Labs app.
I listen to music using VLC, AIMP and Amazon Music.
I would just like to stick to a ROM and not have to worry about switching.
So, in your opinion, which is better? I'm currently on the Xiaomi.eu Weekly Beta.
