Does anyone know how to manage Googles photo sync? I've been trying to figure this out for a while and it's driving me nuts.
I'm trying to find a way to backup only photos taken by my camera and not random images on my phone.
I have found this:

Which seems like the solution. But I cant find the damn photos app? Did it even come installed on this phone?
It's unbelievable how complicated a simple task like this can be. Drives me up a wall.

how do i save them lol im having so much trouble saving pictures i dont know how anyone else do
I would like to know how to do this as well. I ended up forwarding the message to my gmail and then copying it to my pc. There has to be a better way.
Right now, that's about the best way, other than forwarding it to your my tmo album (text to "222").
There are still a lot of little things like this that probably didn't seem big at all to a developer...but put in the hands of a consumer...
maybe there is a way im gonna look in the good ole manual
Well, there's a menu option to "View picture" (long press on the message containing the pic). BUT it doesn't do anything . I am assuming if it brought the pic up in a viewer you would have the choice to save it.
welp hat is another issue google has to fix lol
Ok, I was trying to figure out what the easiest way to host pictures taken off my phone. I tried using picasa, and it works great, but I can't link it to host pictures into forums. Well, I managed by clicking on properties and using that link, but I was searching for something already designed to do it like photobucket or something.
I would prefer it to be a standard option apart of the phone, but if I need to download something, hopefully it will be easily integrated into the phones use.
Thanks in advance
Theres an app for imgur that works well:

Hello XDA people,
When i put files on my SD card. Android doesn't see the files right away. Most of the time after a couple of boots. This is really irritating me. I unmount the device but still no files.
Does someone have the answer for this? Searched the crap out of google, but couldn't find anything useful.
And another question, when i have wallpapers. They show up like i want them to be on my background. But android gives you this retarded cut out tool. That enlarges the wallpaper. Does anyone know a good app to get rid or replace this?
Thanks.
You do know you can enlarge the area that the wallpaper thing tries to cut out? just drag an edge of the yellow box and it will expand it. Can't really help with the files not appearing tho, sorry.
Try "wallpaper set and save" - it's in the market and it's free. Or get Zedge (which is BRILLIANT!) That too seems to be able to set wallpapers a lot better than the native method. You just can't select your own wallpapers with that.
The other problem is something I've seen on the forums a few times. Do a search and you may find some answers.
Still cant find a solution for the file problem. Please someone help
@ johncmolyneux.
Yes i know Zedge it's good. Thanks for the solution for the wallpapers.
Anyone????
I think you have to set up ADB. That was the only thing i could do to get rid of this problem But ABD has it's benefits, believe me
Here's a guide.
Loving my Omnia 7. My pictures on my live account were syncing until this week.
My pictures no longer appear on the picture hub. The only pictures I have are the ones on the camera roll, saved picture and sample picture.
I have tried syncing again. I have tried restarting among many other things. No luck.
My pictures on my live account DO NOT APPEAR on my phone.
If there is a know solution to this please assist.
I also had this problem. I hear that it is a bug that MS may fix with their next update. However the only solution I have come up with at this moment is a hard reset.
Thanks, I was hoping it wouldn't come to that.
Any other alternatives.
Silly question, i know i will loose all the apps i installed. How about the ones i paid for? will i have to pay for them AGAIN ?
No, you don't have to pay for them. They're associated with your live id.
After a hardreset you can go to the markepace and if you download an app you payed before, it will prompt you about it and you can download for free. Maybe write down the names of apps so you know what to download again.

Just a quick question, once you have created one of these AREmoji things on your phone, you can use it as the profile picture on your contacts for instance, but does anyone know where these images / aminations are actually stored on the phone ? Ive had a quick browse through my device using root browser and nothing really stood out, I found an AREmoji folder but there was nothing in it.
