Can someone tell me please where is the option that was in the curtain drop down to change from mounted sd to unmounted sd so that it connects to the cpu when there is a usb wire connected. After the froyo 2.2 update with the dk28 modem its not there..
Im starting to get tired of removing the usb cable and putting it back in just to get the mass storage option to pull up.
Any help is appreciated
I'm not sure what your question is, but when I plug in the USB cable it is in the drop down notification window with DK28.
If I click on charge only when I plug in the usb cable, I cant seem to find the location to put the phone into usb storage unless I remove the usb cable and choose usb storage..
I used to just swipe the curtain down and choose usb storage from there but it doesnt seem to be located there any more.
Is there another location to turn usb storage on other then removing the usb cable and plugging it back in?
Try turning on USB Debugging. After turning on Debugging, the box won't pop up, but you can enable mounting through the notification bar.
Menu->Settings->Applications->Development->USB Debugging

I was actually going to post this fix.. That actually worked you have to turn debugging on in order to see that option.
When I connected my tab to my laptop it would not recognize it when I checked usb debugging. Everyone says that it is supposed to be checked for the device to be recognized right? I was however able to open the device when I left usb debugging un checked. Anyone care to comment? This id how I was able to put music on the tab although I am experiencing fotce close issues with the music player (have another thread regarding that).
actually they say disable usb debugging to mount it.
I've been trying to connect my DJI Phantom controller to my computer so that instead of using a phone to preview the video, I can use my computer screen.
The app opens fine, but when I plug the controller into the computer (via a USB) cable, it doesn't seem to detect it.
Is there a setting I need to change? Or is this even possible?
Thanks

I have an Samsung S5 with android 6 marshmallow and after a fall the screen and the touch did not work more and I need to unlock the device in order to save my data and contacts.
I need a program that can access the phone or that I can draw the unlock pattern or even disable the lock.
Can you help me? thank you
Please remember that I can not see anything happening on the screen ...
Do you have a USB OTG cable? If so you can plug in a USB mouse/keyboard combo and try to unlock the device by memory. O
nce you do this, if you have a bluetooth mouse, try pairing that to the phone. You should be able to view your phone on a screen using an MHL adapter if you have one.
Other option would be much easier if you have USB debugging enabled. If you have usb debugging enabled, then connect the device to your computer. You should be able to use adb commands to transfer over the data you require.
Unfortunately I can not see anything on the screen so it will be impossible to use an OTG adapter and mouse to draw the unlock pattern ... and unfortunately the USB debug mode is disabled ...
Any other ideas? Any software that can remove the lock?
hello guys, my realm 2 pro screen have touch issue, so I want to recover all the data from my phone.
given, the phone is locked with a pattern (I know the pattern and all other security passwords)
the phones USB DEBUGGING is off.
I have gone through almost every process that is available on internet to recover my data.
screen mirroring using SCRCPY needs USB DEBUGGING.
I cannot operate with USB MOUSE as my OTG is OFF.
I also tried to ON usb debugging through ADB but its not working in stock recovery mode.
So, can anyone help me with this issue.
